Marvel Has Reportedly Found Its Villain for ‘Black Panther 2’

Source: Marvel Studios / Marvel Studios A few weeks ago at San Diego’s Comic Con Marvel revealed it’s movie slate for MCU’s phase 4 which included some highly anticipated projects including Blade starring Mahershala Ali as the vampire killing Daywalker and Thor 4, but noticeably absent was any mention of the sequel to everyone’s favorite Black superhero, Black Panther 2 . Though we know it’s definitely happening and director Ryan Coogler is penning the script, we haven’t gotten much else other than rumors about Killmonger possibly returning to Wakanda (Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige basically shot that rumor down recently). While official word on Black Panther 2 remains scarce, We Got This Covered is reporting that the villain for the highly anticipated sequel has been nailed down and it’s none other than the merman known as Namor.  The Sub-Mariner will be T’Challa’s main antagonist when we all return to Wakanda for the next adventure. According to our sources – the same ones who told us that the real Mandarin will appear in Shang-Chi and Taskmaster will be the villain inBlack Widow, both of which were later confirmed by Marvel – the studio has chosen Namor to be the main antagonist of Black Panther 2. The specifics of his role are still a bit unclear, but like we said above, the sequel will see him trying to take control of Wakanda and become its ruler. As with any scoop of this kind, we imagine Marvel may deny it publicly as they so often do, but as we mentioned above, our sources are usually pretty reliable, so we feel fully confident in their intel. And while things can always change in the development process given how early on it still is, for now, it seems that Namor will finally be making his big screen debut in Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther 2 . This shouldn’t come as a surprise as rabbit-eared fans caught the easter egg in Avengers: Endgame when Okoye mentioned underwater earthquakes off the coast of Africa. Could it be the city of Atlantis readying to make its presence known to the world? We don’t know but fans were quick to point out the possibility and that Namor would soon be joining Marvel’s cinematic universe. Though Marvel hasn’t confirmed the news We Got This Covered is also reporting that they’re eyeing Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding to take on the role of the hotheaded anti-hero. No word yet on when Black Panther 2 will be making its way into theaters but rumors have it dropping November of 2021 or February 2022. Either way, we can’t wait.

Jenni Farley to Roger Mathews: Way to Ditch Our Kids So You Could Rage!

According to Jenni Farley, she cannot stop smiling over the presence of  Zack Carpinello in her life. The Jersey Shore veteran and her 24-year old lover seem quite content with each other at the moment. Conversely, Farley has made it clear once again that she REALLY is displeased with estranged husband Roger Mathews right about now. Following an Easter Sunday in which Farley and Mathews put their differences aside in order to spend time as a family with their two young kids, something appears to have gone awry. For a reason Jenni tried to make clear in a scathing Tweet yesterday, she now has yet another reason to think Mathews is a very bad parent and role model. In her Instagram Story message, posted late on Sunday, the MTV personality best known as JWoww said that her son and daughter wouldn’t be spending the weekend with their dad because he wanted to “rage.” She later deleted the note, but nothing ever dies on the Internet. “When you find out on Wednesday your kids will be with someone other than their father over the weekend because he wants to rage during HIS time because it’s been planned ‘for months,'” Farley wrote along with rolling eyes emojis. “Yeahhhh ok. Loving all your ‘dad posts,'” she added, mocking Mathews for how often he claims to be a dedicated and loving father and concluding: “Please keep over posting…really shows how ‘involved you are.'” It certainly is true that during the crux of their VERY ugly exchanges late last year and earlier this year, Mathews often claimed that Farley was ignoring their kids in order to film Jersey Shore. After his estranged wife obtained a restraining order against him several months ago, Mathews went on an all-time Instagram rant . He trashed Farley as a fake and phony sand vowed that the “truth” would come out and that all he cares about in life is being a responsible parent. It hasn’t really been made clear exactly what Mathews was referring to at the time, but a sad truth has seemingly come out about him since this argument: He admitted in an open letter to having been abusive with Farley, as documented below: View Slideshow: Roger Mathews Pens Letter to Jenni Farley, Admits to Abuse In this case, JWoww’s post apears to be in response to Roger’s Instagram video, posted Saturday, showing him on a “rare dad night out.” “Had this night planned for a few months now,” Mathews wrote along with the video, adding: “Kids are enjoying a sleepover with my best friends kids @fitmom_meg and Dads going to see @louiedevito tonight with some 20 year friends @jamiemalloy35 @dannycars13 @maximillian143 @aimeedanger @chrissyjules. “Rare dad night out. Leeeeeeets goo.” We can totally understand Farley’s frustration here. Her kids and two and three years old, seemingly pretty young to have a sleepover. It also seems a bit odd for Mathews to celebrate a “rare” night out, considering he doesn’t have primary custody of these children. Farley filed for divorce from the 43-year-old truck driver in September of 2018 after a three-year marriage, full of ups and down. The reality star has since moved on with Carpinello, whom Mathews seemingly approves of, having been asked for his opinion by Us Weekly a few days back. “He seems like a terrific guy and they seem to really be happy, and I’m very happy for them,” Mathews told this tabloid shortly after it revealed her new man is the 24-year-old professional wrestler from New York. Mathews added at the time that Carpinello is a “good friend of her little brother” and that they’ve been dating for “a few months.” We’re very glad to hear it. And we hope, for the sake of their kids, that Jenni and Roger can find an amicable co-parenting solution in the near future. The Christian Post is reporting that, Anna Conkey walked into Mt. Everest Academy holding her 10-month-old baby as well as a handgun. This incident happened around 12 p.m. on Easter Sunday. In a YouTube video, Conkey explained that God had given her a message for the church. She said, “Well I had a message to share with my church today, and God had told me before I even went. He was like Anna, it’s not gonna be how you imagine it. And I certainly never imagined that I’d never even get to speak because He told me I was supposed to give a message. They told me to go. They told me they would call the police if I didn’t leave. Yeah. I didn’t do anything. I didn’t do anything that was hmmm, I guess when I said that I had more authority over the teacher which is true because God told me I’m his messenger. I’m an apostle and I’m a prophet. And according to the Bible, a prophet and apostle has more authority than the teacher so I happened to say that, then they told me to go. See how much they care about their hierarchy in the church. Wendy Williams: Police Feared She Was Being Poisoned During Marriage

Before Wendy Williams served her awful husband with divorce papers, she hired a security team to keep her safe. Months earlier, police had visited her home for a welfare check after an anonymous caller claimed that Wendy was being poisoned. Is this divorce really about cheating? Or is it about attempted murder ? TMZ got their hands on an alarming police report. Back in January, a “random caller” contacted authorities to report that Wendy Williams was essentially being poisoned by her husband, Kevin Hunter. The source of the call claimed to work for Wendy’s production company. The unidentified caller believed that Kevin was providing Wendy with some sort of dangerous substance. The police were asked to do a welfare check, so they obliged. This went down during Wendy’s extended hiatus from The Wendy Williams Show . According to the police report, two officers visited Wendy Williams’ residence in New Jersey. They were greeted by Kevin Hunter, who appeared hesitant to allow them into the house. He explained to them that Wendy was “sick” and “recovering from a health problem.” Police declined to accept his “no” and he eventually relented. The officers explained that they were required to speak to Wendy because the had been instructed to do a welfare check. After Kevin ushered them in, the officers report finding Wendy in bed. Per their description, she sounds immobile, “with the blanket covering from neck to toe.” Kevin seemed to want to stay by Wendy’s side and monitor any conversation that they might have. One of the officers insisted that he allow them to speak to her directly and alone, and so he eventually left the room. Wendy explained to police that she was recovering from a broken shoulder, and that this was the “health problem.” This is when the officers told Wendy about the anonymous call claiming that she was being poisoned or dosed with something dangerous. Wendy apparently told the police something along the lines of “Well, I’m very popular,” as if to suggest that it was some crazed fan. That dismissal was not exactly an answer. When asked again, Wendy had a very different reaction. Wendy Williams is described in the report as having become tearful when the police asked a second time if she was safe. When she spoke, however, she denied that Kevin was poisoning her. After Wendy insisted yet again that she was safe and perfectly fine aside from her health, the officers departed. That’s it — no blood tests, to viewing of medical records. In our justice system, everyone’s hands are tied until the alleged victim asks for help — and sometimes, even then. Does the fact that there was a welfare check mean that Wendy was being poisoned by her husband? Of courrse not. That said, a guy who realizes that his mistress is about to give birth deciding to poison his rich wife would … not be unprecedented. As to what form that could take, the nervous caller may have been referring to opioids. Hypothetically speaking, an aspiring murderer could fuel someone’s addiction in the hopes that they will overdose all on their own. But we are of course not accusing Kevin Hunter or anyone else of anything.

Jeremy and Audrey Roloff: Might They Return to Little People, Big World?

Jeremy and Audrey Roloff wear quite a few professional hats these days. They are bloggers, authors and podcast hosts, not to mention social media influencers who peddle advice to other married couples on a near-daily basis, whether it is welcome or not . But many fans have been wondering something about the twosome for several months now… … will they ever be reality stars again? Jeremy and Audrey stunned Little People, Big World viewers when they announced their departure from the show that made them famous almost as soon as the previous season wrapped up last summer. Wrote Jeremy at the time, explaining where this decision came from: After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun. We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on! And both the show and the careers of these two Roloffs have gone on. New episodes of Little People, Big World are currently airing every Tuesday night on TLC, while Audrey and Jeremy have written a very popular memoir. No matter what those mean trolls may say , the couple is doing quite well at the moment. But might these universes collide at some point down the line? Have Audrey and Jeremy truly appeared on their last-ever Little People, Big World episode? Maybe not, actually. During a recent appearance on Access Live to promote their aforementioned book, Jeremy touched on why he andn his wife left their family’s reality series. “I just reached a point where it was never really something I said ‘yes’ to, I just grew up doing it,” he explained, adding: “If you asked me if I’d do it all over again, I’d say ‘yes’ … I wouldn’t trade it for anything, but it’s just a long time. It’s time to do something else.” Fair enough certainly. This is how we feel and also how his loved ones feel, Jeremy said: “They all understand. We’ve all been doing it – it’s been a family business for 14 years, like, that’s a long time to be working all together, day in and day out, making TV.” Here’s the thing, however: Jeremy and Audrey remain close to their siblings and the former’s parents. And because Little People, Big World documents the lives of the Roloffs, it’s conceivable that Audrey and Jeremy may simply pop up from time to time. Not as main cast members or anything — but simply as relatives who are attending a family function. “I like to say we may have quit the show but we didn’t quit our family,” Jeremy said in this interview. “We still make our cameos and we still go to Jackson’s birthday party and hang out with the family.” Makes sense to us. And until we see them on screen again, we can always read revealing quotes – such as Audrey’s admission that she let Jeremy touch her below the belt prior to marriage – about their past, present and future. According to HBCU Buzz , students from the school won the competition and took a $75,000 institutional grant back to Atlanta. The Spelman team—whose players included Ariana Benson , Jessika Agyepong , Naomi Steplight , and Maati McKinney —beat 47 other HBCUs to take home the title. Daniel Bascelli served as the team’s coach. “Winning itself isn’t the only reward. It’s about bringing these students together and watching them represent their school in the best possible way,” Bascelli said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “The spirit at Spelman is really strong. If you talk to the students, the feeling for Spelman, the feeling for HCBCUs and the support that Honda gives them is all a part of the pride that they feel.” Florida A&M University, Jackson State University and Morehouse College rounded out the top four. The competition, which has been in existence for 30 years, was created as an avenue for Honda to make an impact in the lives of students who attend historically Black colleges and universities. “Through HCASC, students are given an opportunity to demonstrate the value of their HBCU experience, represent their schools on a national stage, and connect with like-minded peers,” Steve Morikawa , VP of Corporate Relations and Social Responsibility, American Honda, said in a statement. “We look forward to celebrating the HCASC legacy and the friendships we’ve made over the past 30 years.” Through the competition, Honda has awarded $8 million in grants to HBCUs and 125,000 students have participated. Several companies are making an effort to contribute to the education of HBCU students. Hennessy teamed up with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund for the creation of a graduate fellowship program . Tre Lawson is on a mission to run again — and hopefully inspire others in the process https://t.co/9xf5x2SyWH — News4JAX (@wjxt4) April 20, 2019 At one point Lawson, who attended Westside High School, was one of the top track athletes in the country, but things took a tragic turn in 2017. After winning a track meet, he got into a car with a group of friends and the driver fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle went off the road and crashed. Lawson suffered serious injuries including damage done to his head, abdomen, and spinal cord. He woke up in the hospital nearly a month after the accident occurred. “It was a huge depressing moment. I thought maybe this is the last time I’ll be able to run again, my career is over. I was wondering if the coaches would still be interested in me even if I recover in due time,” he told the news outlet. “Looking at the four walls of the hospital room, you become depressed really quickly.” Although it took a while for Lawson to come to terms with what had happened, he ultimately decided he wouldn’t let his circumstances defeat him. He was motivated to get back on the track. He went through a rigorous rehabilitation program at the Shepherd Center based in Atlanta. Day after day Lawson went hard with his strength training so that he wouldn’t have to be confined to a wheelchair. He recently got back on the track at his high school with a walker and was able to walk 200 meters in 30 minutes. He says that the accident has inspired him to focus on the positive aspects of life. “Every day isn’t a sunny day. You have to have rain in order to have a rainbow some days.” Lawson has launched his own nonprofit organization for patients at the Shepherd Center. SEE ALSO: T.I.
