Kim Kardashian SLAMS Donald Trump Over Muslim Ban!

Look, we’re certainly not glad that Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint back in October — it sounds like a truly terrifying ordeal, and one that we’d never wish on anyone. But in the aftermath of that incident, Kim has really changed. And we are really enjoying the woman she is these days. We’ve heard report after report claiming that her priorities have changed dramatically , that she’s not as concerned with wealth and status symbols after what happened. She’s more focused on her family than ever before, she’s not jetting off at every business opportunity. Kim has really chilled out a lot, and it’s been nice to see. Another thing that’s nice to see? How she completely and totally tore Donald Trump and his discriminatory, unfathomably terrible Muslim Ban with one single tweet: As you can see, Kim shared a handy little chart breaking down several different causes of death in Americans over the past ten years. According to this chart, there have only been two people killed by Islamic jihadist immigrants — the people Trump is supposedly trying to keep out of the country . Meanwhile, at least 11,737 people were shot by another American. In the caption of her chart, Kim simply wrote “Statistics.” Beautiful. Kim also shared a fundraising page for Syrian refugees that was created by Kal Penn after some random Twitter troll told him that he doesn’t “belong in this country you f-cking joke.” Would the old Kim have been so outspoken on such a controversial issue? It’s hard to say. But regardless, way to go, sister. As for the rest of the Kardashians and their stance on our president’s latest atrocity, Khloe tweeted “All of this in the news today breaks my heart.” Then last night, after a federal judge blocked Trump’s order, she retweeted a “Victory!!!!!!” tweet from the ACLU. Kourtney retweeted a few messages in support of refugees as well, but the rest of the family has been silent. Well, Kylie has been sharing nonstop bikini selfies, so she may be helping in the only way she knows how. Still, we’re so proud of Kim for standing against Trump, even while her husband calls him a friend and has continued to publicly support him. Keep up the greatness, girl! Race Matters: Are You Surprised To Learn Harvard University Is Facing Racial Bias Accusations From THIS Ethnicity?

Asian Americans File Discrimination Complaint Against Harvard It’s not like we’ve never heard stories about racism at Harvard before but are you surprised to learn that Asians feel the school has unfair admissions policies? According to Wall Street Journal reports: A complaint Friday alleged that Harvard University discriminates against Asian-American applicants by setting a higher bar for admissions than that faced by other groups. The complaint, filed by a coalition of 64 organizations, says the university has set quotas to keep the numbers of Asian-American students significantly lower than the quality of their applications merits. It cites third-party academic research on the SAT exam showing that Asian-Americans have to score on average about 140 points higher than white students, 270 points higher than Hispanic students and 450 points higher than African-American students to equal their chances of gaining admission to Harvard. The exam is scored on a 2400-point scale. The complaint was filed with the U.S. Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights. “Many studies have indicated that Harvard University has been engaged in systemic and continuous discrimination against Asian-Americans during its very subjective ‘Holistic’ college admissions process,” the complaint alleges. The coalition is seeking a federal investigation and is requesting Harvard “immediately cease and desist from using stereotypes, racial biases and other discriminatory means in evaluating Asian-American applicants.” Robert Iuliano, Harvard’s general counsel, said the school’s admissions policies are “fully compliant with the law.” The school says its admissions process takes into account a variety of factors besides academics, including applicants’ extracurricular activities and leadership qualities. “Within its holistic admissions process, and as part of its effort to build a diverse class, Harvard College has demonstrated a strong record of recruiting and admitting Asian American students,” Mr. Iuliano said in a statement. He said the percentage of Asian-American students admitted to the undergraduate school rose to 21% from less than 18% in the past decade. But the group that filed the complaint said that percentage should be much higher given the increasing numbers of Asian-American students that apply. The complaint argues that elite schools “that use race-neutral admissions” have far higher Asian-American enrollment than Harvard. At California Institute of Technology, for instance, about 40% of undergraduates are Asian-American, about twice that at Harvard. The allegations come six months after a group called Students for Fair Admissions argued in a federal lawsuit that Harvard uses preferences to reach specific racial balance on its campuses. Do you think Harvard should change their policy? And how crazy is the test score difference between Blacks and Asians? Does this complaint surprise you? Shutterstock

The Obama Administration Finally Does Something Right…But Where Is ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, and CNN When Barrak Needs Them? And Hmmmm Where’s the Story?

Until yesterday, Shirley Sherrod was Georgia Director of Rural Development for the USDA. Earlier in the day at Big Government, Andrew Breitbart put up a video that exposed Ms. Sherrod as someone all too willing to discriminate based on race. Within hours of the video's release, USDA Director Tom Vilsack announced Sherrod's resignation, and in the process issued an exceptionally strong condemnation (“We are appalled by her actions … Her actions were shameful … she gave no indication she had attempted to right the wrong she had done to this man”). The NAACP, at whose Freedom Fund Banquet Sherrod spoke of her discriminatory posture, and at which the audience seemed to indicate approval of her outlook, followed a short time later, virtually echoing Vilsack. So I guess we're supposed to forget about Shirley Sherrod from this point forward? Unintended changes in GM rice and maize disprove "substantial equivalence"

In North America [as elsewhere] GM crops have been evaluated for safety based on superstition and the use of the magic words 'substantial equivalence'. The paper below shows how the numerous real differences between GM and conventional crops can be evaluated scientifically. — — 2.Unintended Compositional Changes in Transgenic Rice Seeds (Oryza sativa L.)
