Source: Rich Fury / Getty Coachella Announces The Line-Up For Their 2019 Festival After months of anticipation and some reported leaks on who the headliners might be, Coachella has finally announced the full line-up for their 2019 festival. Childish Gambino is going to headline on Friday, Tame Impala has Saturday, and Ariana Grande will close out the festival on Sunday. Donald Glover was one of the first names on the list of supposed headliners that fans have been speculating over for months–though he’s not accompanied by Justin Timberlake or Kanye West , who many sources said were set to be the other two on the ticket. It’s no surprise one of the biggest festivals in North America wanted Childish Gambino to headline after the year he’s had. He hosted  Saturday Night Live , claimed his first No. 1 hit with “This Is America,” and embarked on an extremely successful accompanying tour. Ariana Grande–though she admits 2018 was the worst year of her personal life–had what many would consider the best year of her career. The songstress released  Sweetener  last August, has a tour planned for this year, and her most recent hit, “Thank U, Next,” is still on top as the No. 1 song in the country. Even with the amazing years these headliners have had, it’s going to be tough following up Beyonce’s performance–talk about applying pressure. Coachella’s other performers for 2019 include Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Solange, Khalid, YG, Janelle Monae, Anderson .Paak and a whole lot more. Check out the lineup in it’s entirety below.   If you’re trying to make your way to Indio, California this April, passes go on sale on Friday at 11 a.m. PST/2 p.m. EST.

I didn’t think Mormons celebrated modern holidays, or is that Jehovahs, I can’t tell the door to door friends I like to traumatize by answering my door nude, or in condom, apart…..I just know they are the fucking worst when they come knocking and projecting their bullshit religion on us in some pilgrimage that offends me….you know kind of like how the Europeans came into North America with their bullshit ideas that they decided to shove down the throats of the Indians before stealing their land…. Not that Julianne Hough is still a Mormon, I assume she’s turned her back on that church after having a sexual relationship with her brother, as Mormons do, you know keep it in the church, and family…when your family has decided you are both dance partners at the age of 9 and decide to fully commit to that…and you are sent to the UK to live in this foreign land with your brother to further your dance training…something that should have ended in her being a stripper…but instead got her to Hollywood…where she chose the fuck Cokehead Ryan Seacrest cuz he looked like her gay brother….life… Unless this is just Rumspringa….you know those Mormons dress like Pilgrims….so it makes sense that she’d be out there being naughty on Thanksgiving for her people. First Black NHL Player To Be Inducted Into League’s Hall Of Fame

N early six decades after breaking racial barriers in the NHL, an athlete is finally receiving the recognition that he has long deserved. 83-year-old Willie O’Ree —the first Black player in the National Hockey League—will be inducted into the league’s Hall of Fame on Monday, the New York Times reported. O’Ree, 83, the league’s first black player, is being honored not just for the historical significance of his career, but also for his decades of working with young players all over North America https://t.co/mXvQ8w2rpc — NYT Sports (@NYTSports) November 10, 2018 O’Ree entered the league in 1958 and played for the Boston Bruins, the news outlet writes. During his career—which lasted for 24 seasons—he encountered the unthinkable all due to the color of his skin. There was an incident where during a brawl an opponent knocked his teeth out with a hockey stick and there was another time where unruly fans attempted to pull him into the stands and attack him. “I heard that N-word so many times that I just let it go in one ear and out the other,” O’Ree told the news outlet. “I never fought because of racial slurs or remarks. I fought because guys speared me, butt-ended me, crosschecked me and things of that nature. Otherwise I would have spent every game in the penalty box.” Despite those obstacles, O’Ree persevered because he knew that stepping on the ice to compete was something bigger than him and he was breaking barriers for Black athletes who would follow in his footsteps. After retiring from hockey, O’Ree spearheaded several youth programs in an effort to diversify the sport. O’Ree’s legacy has inspired the generations of Black athletes who have come behind him. “Willie O’Ree’s story must not be forgotten,” Karl Subban , a father of three Black NHL draft picks, told Sports Illustrated . “He has made it possible for my boys to have the NHL dream and to believe they could achieve it. He changed hockey which is now for everyone. Hockey needed him and so does the Hockey Hall of Fame. The time is right!” There remains a lack of diversity in the NHL. According to the New York Times , 97 percent of the league is white. Big Cash Carters: Jay-Z And Beyonce’s OTR2 Tour Grosses $253,000,000

OTR2, Jay-Z, and Beyonce’s co-headling world tour has exceeded expectations.  Billboard  is reporting that the Carters’ co-headlining event racked in $253.5 million. That’s around $144 million more than what the original earned in 2014. Jay and Bey kicked off the tour with 18 stops in Europe, followed by 30 more in North America after the couple released their  Everything Is Love  album. The nine-track album won Album of the Year at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Bey and Jay’s tour, which featured special guests DJ Khaled and Chloe x Halle, reportedly sold 2,177,000 tickets over its four-month run, with each show grossing an average of $5.28 million. In just Atlanta’s two-night stop of the show, they grossed $14.1 million. Who would’ve known??? The tour ended earlier this month with a final show in Seattle. Beyonce said she was happy to share this last show with fans. Now she can get some rest, love on her kids and count her money with her hubby! Congratulations to them. Did you attend any OTR2 shows???
