The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Come Late, Leave Hungry

Last night, when The Real Housewives of Atlanta visited L.A., we found out that “Peaches Don’t Grow in Hollywood,” they only visit. And one housewife pulled out a “whole lot of bitch” with good reason. We recap the late night Fatburgers and pink thongs in our THG +/- review.   They can’t say they weren’t warned. Nene told Cynthia early on, “I got a little splash of crazy and a whole lot of bitch in me. ” Little did she know she’d have to use it on more than just Phaedra and Kenya. There weren’t a lot of surprising moments in tonight’s episode but one was enough. Plus 15 because it definitely brought the bitch out of Nene and the recipients deserved every verbal smackdown Ms. Leakes delivered. When NeNe invited the ladies out to L.A. for a visit, she was no fool.  She didn’t have these crazy women staying in her own home. She spent good money renting a lovely home to put them up in. Plus 20 . Smart girl. But there was a down side. It’s even harder to control this group when they aren’t under the same roof. Porsha said they can all come together when called upon to do so. She didn’t say they could come together on time. Minus 10. So when NeNe planned a special dinner party at 9pm to introduce the ladies to some of her L.A. friends, she expected them there at 9…or maybe 10. How about 11pm?  Nope. The group arrives at her doorstep at a quarter to midnight with smiles on their faces and weak apologies on their lips.  Seriously? Minus 25. Well, Ms. NeNe was having none of it. Plus 33. She had other guests and caterers there and these women were just plain rude. This ain’t no club. You can all just exit to the left. Cynthia, Phaedra , and Porsha looked ready to slink away but Kenya kept trying to keep it light and joke it off.  Group hug? No, bitch. Nice try. Exit to the left, please. And Kandi was just cranky because she was so damned hungry.   Greg, who is just too nice, sent out a cheese platter to hold them over while NeNe wished them goodnight and sent them packing. I don’t blame her one bit. Thankfully there was a Fatburger open on the way home. Plus 12. The next morning Kenya tried to get the ladies on track and got up to make them all breakfast.  Plus 10 . It looked damned good. Afterwards they headed over to The Groundling for an Improv class which only increased the friction between Kenya, Phaedra, and Porsha. But the funniest moment was when NeNe was the one who was late. During the tour of the back lot of NeNe’s TV show, The New Normal we got a sneak peak of her trailer and her bright pink thong. Minus 8 . Then it was off to a nice dinner…or at least that was the intention.   Did Porsha bring up the exercise videos because she wanted to cause trouble or because there’s air between her ears? Minus 11. And how many times can we bring up Walter and how wonderful they all think he is?  I’m not the biggest Kenya fan but she had a right to be upset. Minus 15. They were definitely pressing her buttons. Of course telling NeNe she was going to punch Phaedra in the face was a typical Kenya overreaction. Some things don’t change. Check back next week as what happens in Vegas can only be worse. EPISODE TOTAL: +21! SEASON TOTAL: -257!

The Wanted Have ‘Perfect’ Songs For Justin Bieber, Chris Brown

‘It’s all up for discussion,’ British boy band tells MTV News of potential collabos. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Sway Calloway The Wanted Photo: MTV News With the Wanted already poised to become internationally acclaimed superstars, it makes sense that they would consider pooling their popularity to make music with some equally potent musical forces, like, say, Justin Bieber and Chris Brown. When the band stopped by Tuesday for “MTV First: The Wanted,” Sway brought up the band’s onetime tourmate and asked the boys what they thought of the “Boyfriend” singer. “He was really nice. A really, really nice guy,” Tom Parker said with sincerity, adding that the band and Bieber became so friendly during their joint tour that the Biebs started joking around and ended up playfully smacking bandmate Siva Kaneswaran in a rather — ahem — uncomfortable place. The natural follow-up to that question was whether the fivesome would consider collaborating with Bieber or if they’d discussed music during the tour. The guys all agreed that a collaboration would be fun and even admitted to having a song in mind for them to work on. “We talked about it, and we have a song that we think he’d sound great on,” Jay McGuiness teased. “We’ve talked to Chris Brown as well, which would be really good,” Kaneswaran revealed. “We talked to Chris actually at ‘The Voice,’ and he said he was down as well.” “It’s all up for discussion,” Parker added, as the rest of the guys chimed in: “You never know.” “We have got a song we think would be perfect,” Max George said of Brown. Fingers crossed we can get those guys all in a studio together to crank out their next chart-topper! Stick with MTV News as we roll out more from our exclusive interview with the Wanted! Madonna Promises ‘A Feast For The Eyes’ On MDNA Tour

Singer has reportedly enlisted fashion guru Jean-Paul Gaultier to design the costumes for the tour, which kicks off May 29. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Rob Imbriani Madonna Photo: MTV News Madonna is several weeks out from launching her MDNA tour . That means she’s working hard on getting every aspect of the show just right, from the music to the design to the looks. Given that Madonna is famous for her spectacular stage shows, fans of the glitzy singer have high expectations for the jaunt, which will kick off on May 29 in Tel Aviv, and will wrap around the globe before planting Stateside on August 28 in Philadelphia. When MTV News caught up with singer at the launch of her Truth or Dare perfume in New York City , she revealed that fans should expect this latest excursion to be just as eye-catching as the ones that came before. “Amazing music, incredible dancing, the team of people that I worked with for the Super Bowl is working with me on this as well,” she explained about the show, which she is currently rehearsing for. And, in the end, she hopes it will be “a feast for the eyes and the ears.” Given how decadent her Roman- and Egyptian-themed Super Bowl performance was, full of acrobatics, sparkling costumes and enough diva-tude to make Cleopatra jealous, it seems that Madge is taking all the right steps to capture that eye-popping essence for her traveling stage show. With a set list floating around that includes tracks like fan favorites “Secret” and “Deeper and Deeper,” as well as new tracks like “Turn Up the Radio” and “Girl Gone Wild,” she’s even enlisted her longtime fashion guru, Jean-Paul Gaultier, to design the costumes for the tour, according to Pink Is The New Blog . He’s worked with her on her Confessions Tour, her Re-Invention Tour, the Drowned World Tour and her Blond Ambition Tour. He’s also the man who designed her famous cone bra. It seems that the Queen of Pop will rule Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum starting at the end of this month through mid-May, according to Newsday . The pop singer and her team are rumored to have rented out the space to rehearse, but she has no plans to stop there during the tour. Madge dropped her album, MDNA , last month. Are you planning on seeing Madge on tour? Let us know in the comments!
