As Teen Mom stars go, Kailyn Lowry is pretty sane and stable. But sadly, it seems even otherwise level-headed humans are capable of getting caught up in the insanity of waist-training. If you’re not familiar with waist-training, it’s an idiotic fitness trend endorsed by the Kardashians that doesn’t actually sculpt your waist into a more slender shape, but might cause damage to vital organs. Now, Kailyn is shilling for a waist-trainer manufacturer (for an undisclosed fee, of course), and she’s either lying to her fans, or she actually buys the company’s BS claims. “Summer body almost ready,” Lowry captioned the above photo. “Losing more inches off my waist by eating healthy & waist training w/@Colombianwaist. I wear it 4-6 hrs & it’s very comfortable.” “I recommend it to all Moms that [are] trying to get that pre baby body back or for anyone who wants a smaller waist.” There’s no denying that she’s is in great shape these days, but we’re guessing that has more to do with Kailyn’s extensive plastic surgery than with some torturous-looking contraption that would make Scarlett O’Hara wince.  Something tells us not many of her fans can afford that quick-fix. I’m pretty sure Brooke Burke has got to be in her 40s or something by now, and for anybody wondering how she manages to keep that booty of hers looking this good in a pair of leggings, these pictures of her at a farmer’s market ought to answer that. I don’t know a lot about this whole “diet and exercise” thing (I’m a blogger, remember?), but I’m pretty sure eating healthy is a big part of staying in shape. Most Diet Nutritionists agree that all foods should be eaten in moderation, but are there foods that we should avoid all together? The truth is, there actually are unhealthy food types that you should try to avoid – some might say they are “foods to die for” – literally! How To Choose A Nutritious Lunch While we should always eat from the five basic foods groups , these food types clearly contribute to high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, cancer and other illnesses that are linked to poor food choices. Check out the list and avoid them at all costs! ELIMINATE Sweetened Or Buttered Fruits And Vegetables: Eliminate deep-fried vegetables and vegetables served with butter, cheese or cream sauce. Avoid canned sweetened fruit, fruit juice (one cup has no fiber and as much as 10 teaspoons of sugar) and fruit toppings like whipped cream. CUT The Refined Grain Products : Cut out all refined grains, found in most breads, pasta, crackers and cereals and all pastries, such as doughnuts, cakes, pies, croissants, muffins, cookies, and snack foods like chips, buttered popcorn and many trail mixes. LIMIT Salted Nuts, Seeds And Beans : Stay away from fatty bean soups and chilies that include sausage, bacon or other high fat meats. And avoid nuts and seeds that are roasted in oil and salted. ELIMINATE Meats, Fish and Poultry High In Saturated Fats – Avoid meats made in saturated fats and other high fat meats like bacon, sausage, hot dogs, ribs, bologna, pepperoni, salami, pastrami and most hamburgers. Also avoid fried fish, chicken and turkey, plus poultry skin. AVOID High Fat Dairy Products : Avoid high fat cream, cream cheese, sour cream, whipped cream, ice cream, whole milk, 2% reduced fat milk and whole milk yogurt. Only use butter and full fat cheese in small quantities and eat no more than one egg a day. LIMIT Saturated Fats and Most Oils : Limit saturated fats and eliminate all fried foods, foods containing trans fats, lard or the partially hydrogenated oils found in pastries, doughnuts, cakes, cookies, candy, microwave popcorn, French fries and most chocolate.
