Reese Witherspoon Admits: I’m Very Round!

Reese Witherspoon has confirmed that she’s pregnant. Three months after a tabloid broke the exciting news , this Oscar winner was feted in Chicago on Saturday night and spoke for the first time on expecting her third child, this one with husband Jim Toth. Great Moments in Google Auto-Complete

As you’ve surely seen countless times, Google’s auto-complete feature fills in what it thinks you might be searching for when you start to type a query. Most of the time, especially if you enter more than 2-3 words, this can be fast, helpful and surprisingly accurate. Sometimes, though, it’s just hilarious. Take this example. When you simply type “Is”, the search engine suggests five apparently common searches, and five great questions of our time: Behold, a snapshot into the mind of America’s search engine subconscious. Is the Mitt Romney campaign getting nervous? Really? No clue why it would be right now, as President Obama looks shaky as ever. Nervous in that he might blow it? Only slightly less on the mind of Google users is whether or not Comedy Central star Daniel Tosh is homosexual. Definitely a profound topic of debate. Snooki , pneumonia contagiousness and Twitter crashing round out this amazing top five. Twitter really does go down a lot for a site of its stature. Follow the jump for more great Google auto-complete results: Is it a boy or a girl? Who knew Google was an ultrasound tech! The long and short of it: People are rather obsessed with all things gay and medical, and incapable of looking out the window to see if it’s raining right now. Finally, the time-honored, philosophical questions of whether God and/or vampires really exist remain unanswered. The Vampire Diaries isn’t proof enough??

Kellan Lutz is taking his gorgeous face and ripped body to the small screen. Sort of. The Twilight Saga will lend his voice to an upcoming episode of Family Guy , Entertainment Weekly confirms, coming on board this fall as a high school football player who takes Meg out on a date, but… … “he’s interested in another member of the Griffin family – and it’s not one of the women,” teases executive producer Mark Hentemann. Hentemann also joked that Lutz’s recording session went well and the actor is “very handsome.” Okay, that second part was likely not a joke. Lonesome George Dies; Galapagos Giant Tortoise Was Over 100

Lonesome George, the last surviving giant tortoise of Pinta Island in the Galapagos Islands, has died. Scientists say he was more than 100 years old. Staff at the Galapagos National Park in Ecuador say George, the only remaining member of his subspecies, was found dead by his long-term keeper. The park said it was “unhappily surprised” to discover his charge “stretched out in the direction of his watering hole with no signs of life,” on Sunday. A post-mortem examination will ascertain the cause of death; as old as he was by human standards, Lonesome George was not old for a giant tortoise. The animals can live to around 200 years of age or even longer. Lonesome George became a symbol of the Galapagos Islands and evolution in general after he was found on Pinta Island by Joseph Vagvolgyi in 1971. George’s plight as the only known member of his subspecies (hence his nickname) led to a series of ill-fated attempts to provide him with a mate. But despite the efforts of conservationists – and two female tortoises from a close subspecies at the Charles Darwin Research Station – it wasn’t to be. George remained a solitary creature until his death yesterday. His death marks the end of the purebred Pinta Island tortoise, but there is hope that they will survive in some form: at least one first-generation descendant of the subspecies has been found at the Wolf volcano on neighboring Isabela Island. Genetic testing has been carried out to try to find further hybrids residing among the population there, according to reports. The giant tortoises of the Galapagos played a key role in helping Charles Darwin formulate his theory of evolution after he visited the islands in the 1830s. At the time, the super-sized reptiles were common, but the introduction of wild goats, which ate the vegetation that formed their diet, and the hunting habits of passing sailors left them on the brink of extinction.

Sister Wives’ Kody Brown: I’m Not a Womanizer!

Sister Wives’ Kody Brown may have four wives and 17 kids, but that does not make the polygamist reality TV star a womanizer, he insists. In a new tell-all interview with NBC News’ Natalie Morales, Kody and wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn were grilled about their lifestyle. Their new book, Becoming Sister Wives, also details much of the same material, notably Kody’s past and his many girlfriends in high school. Some viewers might say that’s not particularly surprising, considering he now has four wives (he’s only legally married to his first wife, Meri). Kody explained in the interview with Morales that when he was 14, he was trying to figure out his life as a wild boy, before his “calling.” His calling as a spiritual person, that is. Natalie’s response? “So it wasn’t that you chose religion to be a womanizer?” Incredulous and stunned, Kody replied, “Is that what you think I am, a womanizer?” He went on to defend himself, insisting that he had “done the emotional work” in his relationships and “shouldered their needs as much as I could.” He insists, “I was never womanizing. … This is NOT an open marriage.” Is it, though? No doubt he cares for each, but is religion just providing cover for him to pursue new women? Wonder what Meri & Co. think deep down. Sister Wives :
