Farrah Abraham SLAMMED by Fans for This Photo of Her Daughter

Farrah Abraham is constantly catching flak from fans for her actions – and the great majority of the time, it’s justified. Whether she’s screaming at her mother or lying about rape , the Teen Mom OG star’s bad behavior would easily qualify her for the THG Most Hated Celebrities Hall of Fame. (If you could call her a celebrity.) Farrah is now coming under fire for a photo she recently shared of herself on vacation in Hawaii with her six-year-old daughter Sophia. In this Instagram pic, the mother-daughter duo wear matching grass skirts and leis, with Sophia sporting a bra fashioned out of coconut shells while Farrah surprisingly keeps her shirt on. “Making memories! So proud of the mom I’m able to be for @Sophialabraham,” Farrah wrote in the caption. “From #Iowa to Hawaii #BestHawaiiTripEver,” she added. The two were attending a luau while on the island, but some fans weren’t amused by the photo. “A coconut bra? For a 6 year old. Great,” wrote one user. “Give all the pedophiles something to jerk off to. Pimping your daughter.” “She’s trying hoe her daughter out now Jesus christ,” chimed in another. “OK this so bad she needs to wear a shirt,” added yet another critic. Amid the negative chatter, a few fans came to Farrah’s defense, including this riled up individual: “Stfu seriously?…she is doing what other mother’s that give a damn do…BE F**KING SILLY WITH HER DAUGHTER !!! They look happy!!! And probably are having a blast!..who gives a flyin f**k if she has no filter for the comments she makes.” To be sure, Farrah has earned the majority of criticism she receives on a daily basis, but this pic seems fairly harmless. Sophia would be exposing more if she wore a two-piece bathing suit, so perhaps folks should save their ire for Farrah’s truly disgusting antics – plenty of which the future is certain to hold. What do you think of this photo of Farrah and Sophia? Silly and fun or totally inappropriate? View Slideshow: “Momager” Farrah Abraham Parades Sophia Around Fashion Week

Bully’s Latest Gambit: Permission Slips

It has come to this for “unaccompanied” teenagers desperate to see the unrated Bully : “An AMC spokesman said it will indeed allow that, but only if the child presents a signed permission slip from a parent, either via a form letter made available by the theater or an improvised note on a standard piece of paper. The move is an apparent attempt to support the film — AMC executive Gerry Lopez has two teenagers and has been vocal about its importance — while still paying deference to the Motion Picture Assn. of America and its ratings system.” Related: Is Harvey Weinstein just recycling tricks from his Kids playbook ? This just in at ML HQ: Esteemed Mad Men creator and occasional director Matthew Weiner will make his feature filmmaking debut with You Are Here , to co-star Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis in a “funny, charming, and deeply honest film about who we were, who we are, and discovering the power to embrace life, no matter how much you screw it up.” There is also a road trip! Once there, Ben is shocked to learn that his eccentric father had big plans for him and he’s inherited a whole lot more than his father’s money. As Ben struggles with his new responsibilities, his friendship with Steve is tested by the complications of his inheritance, his sister Terry’s (Poehler) ambition, and Steve’s desire to be with his father’s beautiful young widow Angela. YOU ARE HERE is a funny, charming, and deeply honest film about who we were, who we are, and discovering the power to embrace life, no matter how much you screw it up. “This movie has been my passion for eight years and to see it come together with Owen and Zach and Amy is a dream come true,” said Weiner. “I can’t wait to get started because the movie is about everything I care about and I’m tired of reading it out loud to my friends.” Noted Gilbert: “We are thrilled to finally bring this project to the screen. Matt is one of the brightest creative minds in television, and we are confident that this project will solidify the same reputation for him in the world of narrative film.” ###

In the Trayvon Martin Aftermath, How Soon Is Too Soon for Neighborhood Watch?

High five to Fox for pulling their bullet-ridden Neighborhood Watch marketing materials from Florida theaters this week following the February killing of Trayvon Martin. Trying to get as much distance as possible from the teaser’s emphasis on grown men Ben Stiller , Vince Vaughn , Jonah Hill , and Richard Ayoade stalking and finger-shooting suburban kids is a good idea and a sensitive move — not to mention a no-brainer necessity, PR-wise — so the studio’s forthcoming campaign will likely focus on the film’s “broad alien-invasion comedy” elements. But even four months from now, will it be too soon for Neighborhood Watch to make fun escapism out of vigilante violence? A Fox representative explained the studio’s decision to THR : “We are very sensitive to the Trayvon Martin case, but our film is a broad alien-invasion comedy and bears absolutely no relation to the tragic events in Florida,” a Fox spokesperson tells THR. “The movie, which is not scheduled for release for several months, was made and these initial marketing materials were released before this incident ever came to light. The teaser materials were part of an early phase of our marketing and were never planned for long-term use. Above all else, our thoughts go out to the families touched by this terrible event.” Extending that retraction on a wider scale might even be in order, seeing as the media firestorm over Martin and his shooter, George Zimmerman, is now a national conversation and not just one for Floridians. Which brings us to the big question: Is the Trayvon Martin case too big, too incendiary, or just too heartbreaking for Neighborhood Watch to come out as planned, and perform well, in four months’ time? What’s in the teaser trailer may be an indication of the problem here: Whether or not it’s revealed in marketing materials, the film seems to glorify the kind of volunteer policing that Martin shooter Zimmerman was a part of in real life. The sounds of Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” underscore the comically grandiose slow-motion crawl of the Neighborhood Watch gang — they’re lazy suburbanites using a self-important Neighborhood Watch front to get away from their families, but once the aliens invade they’ll become true-blue heroes. (Since I haven’t seen the film, I’m only guessing here — maybe it’ll turn out that the aliens were only visiting peaceably, their presence horribly misunderstood by overzealous would-be heroes, who resolve their differences with nonviolence.) That setup would be fairly harmless if it didn’t tap directly into the debate over what really happened on February 26 in Sanford, FL. Zimmerman was an active Neighborhood Watch captain in his gated community who, by many accounts, took citizen policing very seriously; following Martin as a suspicious person on the day of the incident led to the unarmed 17-year-old’s fatal shooting, which Zimmerman claimed was an act of self-defense. Neighborhood Watch , penned by Seth Rogen , Evan Goldberg, and Jared Stern as a ” hard R ” and directed by Lonely Island ‘s Akiva Schaffer, is still on Fox’s schedule for a July 27 wide release. According to the THR report, the studio doesn’t plan on pushing back the debut, despite the ongoing furor over the Martin case. I’d like to think that Martin’s death will be resolved but not forgotten by then, if only to give his family and all who’ve become invested in the case some closure, but I’m skeptical that four months — or five, or a year, or any measure of time — will be long enough that I won’t be thinking of George Zimmerman while watching Ben Stiller blow away the aliens who darken his doorstep. Autistic kid gets Penis Tattoo By Australian "Artist" Leads To Charges

I don't know why the Huffington post has him as an artist, when he doesn't have a license to tattoo people. The jerk smiled and has admitted to doing it because he was upset at the kid. ******************************************************************************************** A 25-year-old Australian found himself the victim of the worst kind of prank — one conducted by a tattoo artist with a particularly raunchy sense of humor. Despite having requested some fairly harmless ink — a yin-yang symbol and some dragons — the man returned home to discover a 16-inch penis and an obscene, albeit misspelled, slogan “implying that he was gay” inscribed on his back, the Ipswich Queensland Times reports. “When he got home he showed it to the person he lives with and she said: 'I don't think it's the tattoo you were after,'” Queensland detective Paul Malcolm told the Times. And as if being permanently marked with a giant phallus on his back wasn't enough, the victim was also allegedly punched and thrown out of the studio by the 21-year-old amateur artist after the tattoo was completed, according to the AFP. Upon discovering the prank, the victim immediately contacted the police. The former friend who allegedly etched the tattoo is due in court Nov. 15, and has been charged with two counts of assault. He potentially faces additional public safety charges as he was not a licensed tattoo artist. On top of the inevitable ridicule, the victim reportedly faces a bill of between $600 to $2,000 to have the tattoo removed. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/27/australian-artist-charged_n_774608.html added by: KSirys

Ryan Tedder Doesn’t ‘Remember’ Telling Lady Gaga To ‘Be Careful’

But the OneRepublic singer does say that, as an artist, ‘you gotta take care of your health first.’ By James Montgomery, with reporting by Akshay Bhansali OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Eddie Fisher Photo: MTV News Here’s the thing about OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder’s recent comments about Lady Gaga in People magazine: He doesn’t remember actually making them, but that doesn’t mean he’s backing down from them either. A quick refresher: Late last month, after footage surfaced of Gaga nearly collapsing onstage during a concert in New Zealand (an incident she chalked up to “jet lag”), Tedder supposedly told People that he was concerned for LG’s health. “Gaga has to be careful,” he was quoted as saying. “She’s already larger than life. How do you get larger than that?” It seemed like a fairly harmless comment, though as it began to make its way around various gossip sites, all of that changed. When MTV News spoke to Tedder and his OneRepublic mates last week, we decided to ask him to clarify his statement. And, as it turns out, he did a lot more than that. “I’ve had two or three people ask me about that, and I had friends who picked up People magazine last week or the week before, and they’re like, ‘You’re in People, someone asked you about Lady Gaga,’ ” Tedder said. “I don’t even remember saying that. To be honest, I don’t even know that I did. ” At press time, a rep for People had not responded to MTV News’ request for comment. While Tedder doesn’t recall saying he was concerned about Gaga’s health, he freely admits that he is. After all, he’s been through the wringer a time or two and knows how taxing and tormenting it can be, and he doesn’t want to see Gaga go down the same path he did. “I’ve only met her once, but I had, like, a two-hour conversation with her nonstop the first time that I hung out with her, right before ‘Just Dance’ came out, and thought she was the coolest, smartest [person]. I was like, ‘God, she’s got her crap together.’ She was legit,” he said. “So I don’t know her, I don’t pretend like I know her, but the fact that I, for a moment, connected with her humanity, and I know how hard we work, and I know the schedule after ‘Apologize’ blew up … the longest stretch of time we were home in a row, for about 13 months, was two and a half days. And that can push you to a brink, where your job becomes who you are, and you end up reaching a breaking point, where all of a sudden you hate it, and you just want to quit. “Or you get sick — we pushed it so hard earlier this year, we were touring with Rob Thomas, and every single day was ‘show, promo/press during the day, show that night,’ and I lost my voice and got swine flu,” Tedder continued. “And the doctor was like, ‘Look, I’ve dealt with a lot of you artists. I’ve had Kanye in here, I’ve had R. Kelly, I’ve had all these different people come through my office. … If you don’t slow down, your body will shut you down completely.’ And so, if you’re collapsing onstage, I don’t care how much money [you have] or how much you love your ‘Little Monsters,’ you gotta take care of your health first. For anybody. For us. I mean, we’ve had to slow down.” So while Tedder isn’t trying to preach, he just hopes Gaga will slow things down a bit. But, knowing her reputation, he’s not sure she will. “My hat goes off to her. Nobody works harder than Lady Gaga. Nobody. She is unbelievable. I don’t know how she sleeps, or when or if,” he said. “But I know people who work with her, and they’re like, ‘She is the most dedicated, committed, hardworking person around.’ ” To be honest, Tedder isn’t even upset that something he may (or may not) have actually said has gotten twisted up. Far from it. If anything, he’s sort of used to it by now. “I’ve had different quotes. Like, something involving Simon Cowell a long time ago, and the British press got a hold of it, and it was like me and Simon were fighting,” he said. “And then something recently about me ripping on a producer that did our first album, which never happened. It’s just funny.” What do you think about Ryan’s explanation? Do you think Gaga should take it easy? Let us know in the comments!
