Are Figuring Things Out As They Celebrate His Birthday Friday Tiny told Wendy Williams she and husband Clifford “TI” Harris are still married and figuring things out, amid rumors the couple have moved back in together… Well apparently Tiny wasn’t feeling folks assuming the divorce is off, so she spoke with Us Weekly about her comments to Wendy: Earlier today, the singer, 42, said during The Wendy Williams Show that she and the rapper, 36, are still married and figuring out their relationship as they go. “This doesn’t imply that my divorce is off, it states that we are trying to figure it out one day at a time,” Harris tells Us. “I do not want false press stories to overshadow the intent of our interview with Wendy announcing tickets went on sale today for my group, XSCAPE’s national arena tour which begins November 22nd. It is also my husband’s birthday on Monday and these stories should not interfere with how my family intends to spend our day celebrating him.” A source adds to Us that the pair have “been spending time together as a family again.” Seems like there is a lot of this going around. La La and Carmelo are pretty much doing the same thing, aren’t they? Do you think it was necessary that Tiny clarify her comments? Or are you just as confused about her relationship status as before?

Mindy Kaling Elle Cover Stirs Controversy: Why Is She Cropped? Black and White?

Mindy Kaling is featured this month on the cover of her first-ever national fashion magazine. Cause for celebration, right? Yes, but also for controversy. Kaling is one of four actress featured for the publication’s Women in TV issue, along with Zooey Deschanel ( New Girl ), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) and Allison Williams (Girls)… … but she’s the only one of those four to be photographed up close and also in black and white. This could be no big deal. Like the Melissa McCarthy Elle cover that generated chatter, it’s possible Kalig was in on the picture selection and some are making a big fuss over nothing. But Julia Sonenshein of The Gloss doesn’t see it that way. “For all we know, Kaling directed the whole shoot. Does it matter? The message is still the same: we treat a certain type of woman differently than the other celebrities in her cohort,” Sonenshein writes . “Kaling is different based on an arbitrary set of rules, so we’ll treat her as such.” Elle, meanwhile, is standing by its depiction of Kaling. “Mindy looks sexy, beautiful and chic,” the magazine says in a statement. “We think it is a striking and sophisticated cover and are thrilled to celebrate her in our Women in TV Issue.” No word yet from Kaling, but here’s a look at the other three women/covers. What do you think? Is this a worthy scandal or much complaining over nothing? UPDATE : Mindy has now Tweeted a response: “I love my @ELLEmagazine cover. It made me feel glamorous & cool. And if anyone wants to see more of my body, go on thirteen dates with me.”

Young Jeezy Arrested for Beating, Threatening to Murder Son

Young Jeezy is in serious trouble with the law. The rapper was arrested in Atlanta on Friday on charges of battery, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats… against his own son. Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that the alleged incident took place in September of 2012 and that Jeezy turned himself in last week after a grand jury warrant for each charge was issued. The legal documents say Jeezy went all Chris Brown on his teenage child, getting into a brawl with the boy in a bathroom; throwing him through a glass shower door; punching him in the face; and continuing to beat on him in the bedroom. Based on the incident report, Jeezy’s son tried to escape but the artist bodyguard blocked the stairwell. Jeezy is also accused of telling the teenager “I will put a bullet in your head right now” and “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.” “We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately,” says Jeezy’s attorney. “At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.” The musician is currently out on bond.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson will get married in 2014 . And now we know why: the former tight end also has a very tight end… if you know what Jessica Simpson means! “Eric is one of the hottest men I’ve ever seen and he looks amazing naked!” the singer (can we still call her that?) tells Redbook in that magazine’s latest issue. But this couple’s relationship goes beyond birthday suits, Jessica adds. “I’ve learned that sometimes love is not enough. You can have a soul mate and be madly in love with that person, but it’s not necessarily enough. I think you have to have personalities that mesh well. You have to be the yin to their yang. “You also have to be open to figuring things out together and communicating even when it¹s the last thing you want to do.” Simpson and Johnson, of course, are parents to 19 months, and Ace, 6 months. But despite being a very recent, two-time mother, Jessica still gets flak from weight critics. Not that she cares anymore. “I never listen to it, no matter who the press talks about when they’re pregnant. It’s ridiculous and unfair,” she says, echoing what Kim Kardashian has said on the topic. “I think any woman who is pregnant and creating a life is pretty much entitled to eat whatever she wants as long as she’s healthy. I wasn’t going to let the media take away from what was one of the happiest times in my life.”
