Source: Christian Science Monitor / Getty According to Fox 5 Atlanta , scammers are pretending to be police officers in order to steal your money. Gwinnett County police say someone is using real Gwinnett police names and badge numbers to threaten people with arrest if they don’t pay a ransom in bitcoin. A victim called 911 in a panic telling the dispatcher her friend received a threaten call from supposed police officer saying if she didn’t pay a fine she would be arrested by Gwinnett County Police Sargent Jake Smith. Sgt. Smith said he isn’t happy with criminals using his name to try to extort money from people and they are doing everything possible to find the scammer. Miley Cyrus Shoots Down Boob Job Rumors

In a word: No . That’s basically Miley Cyrus’ response to rumors that she has undergone breast enhancement surgery. The chatter took off yesterday after Star Magazine published quotes from supposed professionals, all of whom studied Miley’s cleavage at a special CNN event this week and concluded that she most likely got a boob job . “Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine,” the singer has Tweeted. “I wish they’d realize you don’t have to be fake to be beautiful!” We don’t exactly feel comfortable discussing a 19-year old’s chest, so you may study the photos above (left, which prompted this rumor; right, which was snapped in July 2010) and decide for yourself: Did Miley get a boob job?

Just days after a couple racy photos of Demi Lovato leaked onto the Internet, an even dirtier rumor has sprung up around the troubled singer: she’s the star of a new sex tape. But Demi’s rep has quickly shot to the defense of his client, issuing the following response into what he deems a “disgusting” story planted by some media outlet. “Perpetrating these completely unfounded rumors from supposed sources while Demi is in treatment dealing with serious physical and emotional issues is disgusting. “The sourcing on this report is so spotty that it is hard to fully respond… We would ask serious news outlets to strongly consider the source of this story before they regurgitate it.” THG is far from a serious news outlet, but we still felt a need to shoot down this rumor before it spread too rapidly.
