FREE AT LAST—PERIOOOODT: City Girls’ JT Finally Gets Released From Prison, Announces “First Day Out” Freestyle

Source: (Photo by Jeff Hahne/Getty Images)  City Girls’ JT Released From Prison Quality Control’s female duo City Girls just got the blessing they’ve been waiting on. JT, one half of the City Girls, was just released from prison after numerous fake promises of release. The Miami native was sentenced over a year go due to fraud-related charges. She ended up being sentenced shortly after the City Girls wave took off and that removed her from all of the celebrity and fame her counterpart has been soaking up. While she was away, the City Girls have snatched up multiple hits including “Act Up” and “Twerk” featuring Cardi B. Before she went in to serve her time, the girl group released a documentary showcasing the days leading up to her surrender. Hopefully, we get a part 2 showcasing Yung Miami’s pregnancy and her passing the torch to JT while she takes time off for her bundle of joy . But for now, we can look forward to JT’s impending “First Day Out” Freestyle. If you aren’t familiar with why she’s releasing a freestyle first thing after getting out of jail, it’s been a trend for Southern rappers for quite some time to release a song within the first 24 hours of release. Most famous for this is the one and only Gucci Mane’s “First Day Out,” which is now a Southern hip-hop classic! Congrats to JT on finally being released and coming home to what’s sure to be a whole lot of love from fans. Everyone has been waiting on this moment since JT and Yung Miami got huge, and with Quality Control on their team, there’s no telling how much more popular they’ll get now that the City Girls are back together. Update: Listen to “First Day Out Freestyle” here. ANOTHER ONE: New Jersey Man Poses As Solider To Scam 30 Women Out Of $2.1 Million

Rubbin Sarpong Scams Women Out Of Millions Another day, another scam. A New Jersey man is behind bars after authorities say he scammed 30 women out over $2.1 million by posing as a “sweet message sending” soldier online. Rubbin Sarpong, a 35-year-old Ghanaian citizen with US residency, was recently arrested for swindling women on sites like Plenty of Fish, Match.com by posing as a U.S. soldier serving in Syria. Things got so bad apparently that authorities allege that one woman committed suicide after transferring nearly $94,000 to Sarpong and his crew. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rks MullaTeam (@rksmullateam) on Mar 2, 2017 at 1:56pm PST The New York Daily News reports that Sarpong and a number of his coconspirators stationed in Ghana created fake profiles and told women they were military personnel stationed in Syria and who received, recovered or been awarded gold bars. Unfortunately, the well-decorated soldier couldn’t get his bars back to the U.S. so he needed their help. The fraudulent scheme worked on 30 women who sent personal checks to Sarpogn (and his accomplices) and wired money to his bank accounts. Sarpong is charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud. None of his co-conspirators have been charged and he faces up to 20 years in prison. Mind you we’ve previously reported on the Tinder Swindler who also got MILLIONS from women and a Georgia man who scammed $80,000 from a woman in a single week. No More R&Pee?: RCA/Sony Reportedly Puts New R. Kelly Music On Hold

Read more:

Source: Scott Legato / Getty With the loss of support from past collaborators in the wake of the Lifetime docu-series, Surviving R. Kelly , the R&B singer is now potentially without a record label to push new music. According to sources, RCA/Sony is putting new music from R. Kelly on hold while pending criminal investigations are looming. TMZ reports : Sources familiar with R. Kelly’s contract and dealings with RCA/Sony tell us … the label will not produce any of the singer’s new music, it will not put money behind any of his projects, and it will not release any additional music until the criminal investigations in Georgia and Atlanta and other fallout resolve one way or the other. We’re told R. Kelly is pissed because he’s been in the studio recording new music to fulfill the obligations under his RCA contract … which requires 2 new albums. Our sources say he’s especially annoyed RCA/Sony won’t provide money for music videos. RCA/Sony is in a tough spot — they can read the tea leaves and know they will have hell to pay in terms of PR if they release R. Kelly’s songs in the wake of the growing #muteRkelly movement. On the other hand, the label has a deal with R. Kelly, and if they formally walk away from him now without any criminal charges to justify ending the contract … they could be sued. We don’t know if there’s a “morals clause” in R. Kelly’s contract … which would allow the label to give him the boot for crossing the line. The outlet adds that Kelly has been continually dropping new music via the streaming service Soundcloud, a far distance from the big budget marketing rollouts he would enjoy under his recording contract. — Photo: Getty

Wa ‘alaykum Al-Salaam: Colombian Scammer Pretending To Be Saudi Prince Busted Over Pork Eating

Image via Getty Saudi Prince Scammer Busted Over Bacon This is the type of scam that would make Tyrone Hankerson jealous. According to the Miami Herald and DailyMail , Anthony Gignac has been defrauding people for two decades under the guise that he was a Saudi prince. It appears that Gignac’s failure to pay attention to detail was ultimately his undoing. Allah would be very disappointed. Last March, the “prince” sank his teeth into well-know Miami developer Jeffrey Soffer who’s company built the Fountainebleu in Miami. After months of elite scam shenanigans, Soffer became suspicious of Gignac’s story and ultimately decided to launch his own investigation in addition to contacting the FBI after this happened: Over the course of events, Soffer “became increasingly wary of Gignac.” One reason for the developer’s suspicions: Gignac happily wolfed down bacon and pork products during meals, which as a devout Muslim prince should have been against his religion, according to a source with knowledge of the case. That’s right. The “Saudi prince” was having his WAY with slabs of bacon and hella swine. Months of fake flossing in Ferraris and buying multi-million dollar condos just to get caught diggin’ the pig. Feds arrested him back in November. Congratulations, you played yaself.
