Rob Kardashian Drops Racial & Homophobic Slurs in Shocking Texts

Last week, we learned that Rob Kardashian is being investigated for allegedly threatening a man named Pilot Jones. The texts were sent in response to rumors that Blac Chyna cheated on Rob with Jones , and that Jones is the father of her baby, who’s due to be born in early November. Chyna took to social media to shoot the rumors down in brutal fashion. Many accused her of gay-bashing Jones , but it turns out that Rob had already gone much further in the language that he used to describe Blac’s alleged cheating partner. In text messages obtained by TMZ, Rob threatens and harasses Jones, accusing the man of lying about having an affair with Blac in order to drum up publicity and help boost his music career. While Rob probably won’t face any criminal charges, as investigators have determined that his language is too vague to constitute an actual threat of physical violence, his use of racist and homophobic slurs is sure to damage his reputation. Below are some of the most shocking texts published today: “And u fa—t ass bitch this is ROB and u did the most DISRESPECTFUL s**t ever by releasing pics and a story to a pregnant Woman who is 17 days from having a baby!” “This is my Wife and you about to get your ass beat by every Mexican in LA including me.” “U f–ked with the wrong Woman and the wrong dude.” “I hope you religious cuz after I beat your ass with about 30 Mexicans u better hope God lets u into heaven.” “Its a wrap for u and after we beat your ass we will all be good and never contact Chyna … u pu–y ass n—a.” “Don’t ever come for me and my wife ever U corny ass n—a” Jones presented the texts to the LAPD as evidence that he had been threatened by Rob. However, investigators found that he had incited Rob in the past and may be guilty of harassment himself. Unfortunately, the world has now seen a very ugly side of Rob, and no judge can strike that from the record.

Shady Swipin’: Former Warner Brothers Music Exec Popped For Embezzling $1.3 Million From Record Label!

Industry rule #4080 is still in effect in 2014 Ex-Warner Bros. Exec Arrested For Embezzling $1.3 Million Via NYPost A former Warner Music executive — a top Hollywood fund-raiser for President Obama — embezzled more than $1 million from the record label, Manhattan prosecutors charged Tuesday. Danielle D. Smith, 45, flew from California and turned herself in at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. She was arraigned on charges of first-degree grand larceny. Smith, who worked in the Los Angeles in the “urban” unit of Warner Music’s Atlantic Records division, allegedly used a corporate credit card to rack up $1.3 million in personal charges, prosecutors said. Smith’s duties at Warner Music, headquartered in Manhattan, included scouting and signing artists, as well as arranging their travel and lodging, sources said. But Smith also used her Warner Music credit card to fund a luxury lifestyle, sources said. She booked rooms in posh hotels and airfare for personal vacations and trips herself, and shelled out for “luxury goods” — resulting in whopping charges being billed to the company credit card between 2007 and 2011, according to law-enforcement sources. Smith resigned from Atlantic in late 2011, while she was under internal investigation for the credit card charges, sources said. Guess times have been tough for Danielle since she’s stopped stealing money from her former employer… Smith looked haggard in court, wearing black-rimmed glasses, a purple sweater and a gray wool coat. She pleaded not guilty before Justice Gregory Carro, who set bail at $1  million. Her lawyer, Scott Leemon, has represented rappers 50 Cent and Jim Jones. Smith’s mother flew with her from California and agreed to put up a retirement fund to spring her daughter on bail, working with bail bondsman to the stars Ira Judelson. “She denies the allegations and we look forward to exonerating her,” said Leemon. Smith is due back in court Wednesday morning. We have no idea how this lady can possibly be exonerated, sounds like she’s headed to join the cast of Orange Is The New Black… Image via Gabriella Bass

Penn State Hit with Major Sanctions, Joe Paterno Loses All-Time Wins Record

First, his statue was removed from campus. Now, his name has been removed from the record books. Following the Jerry Sandusky conviction and the subsequent independent investigation that shed light on just how involved Joe Paterno and Penn State officials were with the cover-up of this monster’s sex crimes, the NCAA has come down with a number of punishments. Among them: the football team must forfeit all victories between 1998-2001, meaning Paterno no longer holds the mark for most victories in Division I history. The sanctions imposed against Penn State by the NCAA include: A four-year ban on all postseason play. A reduction in scholarships – 20/season – over the course of those four years. A $60 million fine, which “must be paid into an endowment for external programs preventing child sexual abuse or assisting victims and may not be used to fund such programs at the university,” according to a NCAA statement. Said NCAA President Mark Emmert upon doling out these football-related punishments: “We cannot look to NCAA history to determine how to handle circumstances so disturbing, shocking and disappointing. As the individuals charged with governing college sports, we have a responsibility to act. These events should serve as a call to every single school and athletics department to take an honest look at its campus environment and eradicate the ‘sports are king’ mindset that can so dramatically cloud the judgment of educators.”

Pete Rock Wanted To Assist Lupe Fiasco On ‘T.R.O.Y.’ Remake

‘I want to give you that same impact that I had when I put that record out,’ Pete Rock says about ‘Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free).’ By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Pete Rock Photo: MTV News Pete Rock and CL Smooth ‘s “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)” is an iconic, classic and unforgettable track that hip-hop fans across the world hold near and dear. But as special as the 1992 track is to the listener, it means even more to the creator, who originally made the track in dedication to his fallen friend Troy “Trouble T Roy” Dixon. So when producer Pete Rock first heard Lupe Fiasco ‘s remake, “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free),” on the radio last week, he was quite upset. “At that point, my emotions were working — I’m still thinking about Heavy D and Troy is a dear friend to me, and my emotions got the best of me, and I expressed myself on Twitter,” Pete Rock told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway on Tuesday, a week after Lupe released his single. Dixon, a former member of the hip-hop group Heavy D & the Boyz, passed away in 1990 after an accidental fall while he was out on tour. Two years later, Pete Rock and his partner CL Smooth released “T.R.O.Y.” to pay homage. The song took on even greater meaning for Rock after Heavy D, his cousin, passed away in November 2011. The Soul Brother said he was approached by Lupe’s label and management to use his classic beat for their new track. Rock agreed, under the one condition: that he was involved in the recording process. “I thought from that point I would be involved with Lupe and being in the studio, tweaking the beat, but I never heard from the record label, and then I turn on the radio, and hear it on the radio,” Rock explained. Instead of involving Pete Rock, Lupe and his team re-created the beat from the original 1967 Tom Scott sample from which “T.R.O.Y.” was crafted. “No disrespect to lupe fiasco and i like him alot but TROY should be left alone. Feel so violated, the beat is next to my heart and was made Outta anguish and pain. When it’s like that it should not be touched by no one,” Rock tweeted after hearing the track. “I’m not flattered @ all. Dat sh– is wack, and the producer should be ashamed of his f—in self. Smh.” The two soon got on the phone, and their respective differences were thought to be solved. “I just got off da phone with lupe, we worked out our difference and we bout to get it in,” Pete tweeted May 23. “Gonna be epic and we gonna give Troy and hev the proper respect they deserve and make history.” The very next day, an irate Lupe phoned into the “Sway in the Morning” radio show and blasted Pete Rock for what he said was a premature tweet. “He wasn’t supposed to say that,” Lupe said in response to Pete’s tweet about plans to collaborate, which has now been deleted from his account. “He was supposed to say the same sh– he said on the phone: ‘Yo, man, it was my bad, that was wack, it was f—ed up for me to say that, it was disrespectful, I was 100 percent in the wrong, I apologize.’ That’s what he was supposed to say.” The two artists clearly have different views, but Pete contends that his aim was to make peace. “When he called, he was upset, and I just tried to talk him through that and say, ‘Look, man, at the end of the day, let’s just fix this thing,’ ” Rock explained to MTV News. “My whole goal was to just squash this thing, fix the music and just move on.” Pete said he’s still a Fiasco fan — naming “Paris, Tokyo” and “Kick, Push” as two of his favorite songs — but he also stands by his original condition: If anyone is to remake “T.R.O.Y.,” he wants to be involved. “If you’re using my track, I want to give you that same impact that I had when I put that record out,” he said. “They Reminisce Over You” has already been redone several times — on mixtapes as well as commercially released albums. Rock said he can’t control the unauthorized mixtape versions, but he would like to be a part of all official remakes, as he was on Mary J. Blige’s 1993 What’s the 411? Remix album. “The Mary J. Blige remix was dope because she involved us and she put CL Smooth on her remix,” he said. What do you think about Lupe Fiasco’s “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)”? Sound off below! Foo Fighters’ ‘Million-Dollar Demos’ Leak

A pair of songs from band’s contentious One by One sessions make the rounds. By James Montgomery Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Nate Mendel Photo: Peter Wafzig/ Getty Images In the nearly two-decade career of the , there was no period quite as contentious as the sessions that (eventually) led to their 2002 album One by One. Weary from a two-year world tour, and being pulled apart by various intra-band dramas (including drummer Taylor Hawkins’ drug overdose ), the Foos were on the brink of calling it quits, and attempts to record the album certainly didn’t help matters any. The bandmembers were unhappy with songs recorded at Grohl’s Virginia studio and Conway Studios in Los Angeles, battling each other and their desires to call it a day, and they scrapped the songs before taking a break (Hawkins would subsequently refer to the scrapped tunes as the “million-dollar demos” ). Eventually, recharged by a performance at Coachella, they decided to try to make the album again, and though they’d eventually finish One by One, the Foos rarely play songs from the record live, and Grohl has said that it’s his least favorite album. So, at the very least, One by One remains the most, uh, curious entry in the Foo’s back catalog. Now, fans — and, we suppose, rock historians — are getting a deeper look (and listen) into its making, as a pair of the so-called “million-dollar demos” have leaked. The two tracks — “Have It All” and “Come Back” — were recorded during the initial One by One sessions and were apparently in the minority of songs the band actually liked : Both ended up making the final version of the album, albeit in very different forms. The demo of “Have It All” is (understandably) less polished than the One by One version, and while it’s certainly looser, it does features the same fleet-fingered fretwork. The main difference between the two is the lengthy instrumental outro the band tacks on to the demo. The early version of “Come Back” is much shorter than the album version, lacking most of the additional instrumentation (and slow-burning build) that fans heard on One by One. Instead, it’s a high-energy workout of interlocking riffs, stop-start drumming and Grohl’s gnarled vocals. And though the Foos may not have fond memories of One by One, the album did feature one of their biggest hits (“All My Life”) and win them a pair of Grammys — Best Hard Rock Performance and Best Rock Album. They’d return three years later with the double-disc effort In Your Honor. Related Artists Foo Fighters
