Duggar Family Photos: Then & Now!

It's been a long road for the Duggar clan from Tontitown, Arkansas. Over the past decade, we've watched Jim Bob, Michelle and kids go from the stars of a limited-run TLC documentary series to one of the most famous families in the history of reality TV. During that time, the family expanded (There was a time when they were a scant 16 kids and counting!) and endured some incredibly dark times. (The Josh Duggar sex scandals will rightfully never be forgotten.) Not surprisingly, the Duggars have changed as individuals as much as they've changed as a family since gaining fame. Check out the slideshow below for a trip down memory lane, and as always, you can watch Counting On online at TV Fanatic to get up to speed on what the Duggars are up to these days. 1. The Duggars in 2004 We guess khaki was really in that year. As for Michelle’s hair? There’s no explaining that. 2. Duggars in 2014 The Duggar family just a few short years ago. Much has changed, but some things never will. (Michelle’s hair still defies all logic.) 3. Michelle and Jim Bob: 2004 Michelle and Jim Bob back in the early days of them having way, way too many kids. Don’t worry, they went on to have many more. 4. Jim Bob and Michelle Today Jim Bob and Michelle have a slightly less atrocious fashion sense these days. Sadly, they’re 5. Josh and Anna Duggar on Their Wedding Day Josh and Anna in 2008. Things haven’t worked out all that well for these two. 6. Josh and Anna Today Somehow still married after YEARS of scandal! View Slideshow

Leah Messer and Corey Simms: Inside the Breakup and Battle For the Twins

It’s really over for Leah Messer and Corey Simms . That much has been established at this point. It’s just a question of why, and what will happen to the couple’s poor little twin girls in the aftermath of the split. OK! reports that shaking hands, Leah Messer lit a cigarette to stop herself from crying as she read her husband Corey’s Facebook flirtation with another girl. “I haven’t been this happy in a long time,” the message read. The words broke Leah’s heart, and tears streamed down her face as her friend Kayla tried to comfort her – even though she had already filed for divorce days earlier. Just the same, the Teen Mom 2 star is having a hard time facing the fact that her six-month marriage to Corey, the father of her twins, Ali and Aleeah, is over. The battle between the young couple is about to get uglier, with Corey expected to ask for sole custody, and Corey’s parents prepared to help him financially. Apparently there are “explosive secrets” that will determine who gets the girls, and according to fellow celebrity news magazine In Touch , abuse allegations. We have no doubt this is a messed up situation, but putting Leah on the same cover as Jenelle Evans ? That’s gotta hurt almost as bad as Corey’s Facebooking. [Photos: In Touch Weekly, OK!]

Perform This Way: Weird Al Parodies Lady Gaga!

Weird Al Yankovic, whose career comprised of parodying hit songs has lasted longer and been more lucrative than many of his subjects, has released a new gem. “Perform This Way” is Al’s take on Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” and includes plenty of the satirical lyrical wordplay that are Yankovic’s hilarious trademarks. Its release follows myriad reports that Gaga blocked the parody – which she can’t even do, legally, but Al always gets permission from the stars in good faith. In any case, Gaga’s manager nixed it without telling her. Word got back to Gaga, who was not pleased. The manager is sorry. Gaga loves it. Everyone is happy. Here’s Weird Al’s “Perform This Way,” his homage to Gaga, with lyrics: Weird Al – Perform This Way (Lady Gaga Parody)

Meredith Baxter Says David Birney Abused Her

Having come out as a lesbian in December 2009 on Today, Meredith Baxter returned to the NBC program to make another announcement Tuesday: She was a victim of domestic violence. Baxter, best known as the mom on Family Ties, alleged her ex-husband and Bridget Loves Birney co-star, David Birney, abused her in their marriage. When asked why she stayed with Birney, who denies the allegations, Baxter replied, “I didn’t know I had a choice. I didn’t know I could go.” She adds that Birney purposefully set his sights on her . “He’s not going to pick someone who’s on top of themselves and who’s confident and aggressive,” she said. “For him to be who he needed to be, it needed to be someone who was mousy and quiet and retiring, and that’s what I was.” The 63-year-old Baxter said she was able to keep this and other personal problems a secret from the stars she worked with over the years. “You learn to compartmentalize. As soon as I got to the studio, my home life was not happening,” she recalled. “I never talked about it.” “No one knew anything.” Baxter, who has three kids with Birney, said she eventually “had to change my thinking” because “I didn’t want to be a victim” anymore.

From the Stars to the Gutter [Party Crash]

Last night Los Angeles was drained of star power because super-agencies WME and CAA had house parties with ridiculous security. Things we discovered: bribing people is harder than you think, security guards are scary and we belong among the dregs. We had high hopes of breaking into CAA partner Bryan Lourd or WME honcho Ari Emanuel ‘s house parties. We drove down leafy roads among mansions worth tens of millions of dollars with various cunning, Mossad-esque plans. We even had a ladder in the trunk. And then we pulled up outside Bryan Lourd’s house to take this innocuous picture of his front door. Lourd represents, or has represented, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Robert De Niro and Tom Cruise among others, so we figured that it was worth being brave to sneak in and surround ourselves with the mega-wattage of true Hollywood. We had visions of laughing with George about our antics. Drinking with Brad. Getting De Niro to say “you talking to me” on voicemails to our mothers. And then two angry, Blackwater-looking security guards in khaki fatigues and windbreakers, a Swiss Guard if you will, sprinted at high speed down the road towards us shouting things, doubtless about the pre-eminence of CAA in Hollywood life and the many achievements of Bryan Lourd. And we shat ourselves and drove away. But not before trying to bribe a valet from Chuck’s Parking who was snoozing in a van nearby. “I can’t get you in,” he said, plainly. So we asked if he could text us updates on whose cars he parked. “No.” Window rolled up. Even CAA’s Oscar party valets take the oath of omerta. And then we found our true position in life at the OK! party. Where we hung out with… Audrina Patridge. Who we were trying to get as Gawker’s LA intern. “It’s Oscar weekend though, you know,” her publicist said, mysteriously, since we don’t think she’s nominated or attending. Kendra Wilkinson also told us she could not gain valuable work experience because she is under exclusive with E! for the Oscars. Other people had bad hair . Rejected by everyone else, we felt a kinship with them that cannot be put into words. [ Top photo via Getty Images; all other photos by Ray LeMoine ]
