Ex-Radio Jock Sentenced 25 Years For Raping Young Michigan Boy Via NYDailyNews A former Christian radio host who pleaded guilty to raping an 11-year-old Michigan boy was sentenced to at least 25 years in prison Monday. John Balyo, former host of WCSG Radio in Grand Rapids, Mich., faces between 25 and 50 years in prison on one count of first-degree criminal sexual assault. “I am feeling very deep and constant remorse for my actions,” Balyo said in court, according to the Battle Creek Enquirer. “And I want the family to know I am very sorry and wish I could do something to correct what has been done.” Balyo, 35, was arrested in June at a Christian music festival and pleaded guilty in September, telling authorities he paid Ronald Lee Moser, 42, to arrange for him to have sex with a child. Balyo said an 11-year-old boy performed oral sex on him in a motel room, with Moser in the room, in May. The boy turned 12 shortly after the incident, according to the Battle Creek paper. Calhoun County Circuit Court Judge Conrad Sindt mandated Balyo register for the sex offenders list and wear an electronic monitor if he ever gets out of prison. Sick f***er. If it were a One Direction shirt , we’d understand… A resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan leaped off a downtown bridge last night and required rescue workers to come to his aid – all because he dropped his jacket into the river. The 25-year old was reportedly combative with officials and may have been was obviously a tad inebriated at the time, but he was eventually released from the hospital without any significant injuries and will not face any charges. She’s never discussed it publicly before, but in the new issue of Out magazine, actress Gillian Anderson reveals that she was a bit of a donut-bumper back in her high school days. Gillian says that moving from London to the small city of Grand Rapids, Michigan as a teen was difficult and led to some pretty outrageous behavior, including binge drinking, purple hair..and oh yeah, muff diving: “I was in a relationship with a girl for a long time when I was in high school…Yeah, yeah, well it’s… You know, I’m old enough that I can talk about that,” she says. So why didn’t Gillian mention her bisexual tendencies before? That rumor can now be confirmed as true. Pauly D will open for the singer on six of her August tour dates. He’s set to hit the road with Spears on August 17 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before his jaunt with her wraps on August 25 in Charlotte, South Carolina. “I am so excited to be performing on the Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour,” he said in a statement. “Britney is one of my favorite performers and certainly one of this generation’s most influential artists. It’s an amazing platform to connect with my fans around the country.” Spears currently has several artists opening for her, including Jessie and the Toy Boys, Nervo and Nicki Minaj. Pauly D served as Spears’ warm-up act at her gig in Las Vegas in March, where he spoke to MTV News about her influence on pop music . “What it means to DJ a concert like a Britney Spears concert or something like that, it’s an association with monsters like Britney Spears and it just legitimizes your career,” he explained at the Palms Hotel and Casino, where Spears electrified the stage just days before she dropped her album. “And it’s just fun being onstage with Britney Spears performing like she’s performing. I love it. I couldn’t ask for more.” And if fans are expecting Pauly to DJ some of the singer’s greatest hits, they’d better think again. “A DJ should not play the artist’s songs at her concert ’cause she has to perform these songs,” he said. “I’m not going to be playing any Britney before she performs; maybe after.
