Lil Wayne Announces ‘Tha Carter V’ Release Date Fans have been waiting for Lil Wayne to drop Tha Carter V for years now, and he finally answered all their prayers. On Tuesday, Weezy teased that something big was on the way, tweeting: announcement at 5pm — Lil Wayne WEEZY F (@LilTunechi) September 25, 2018 And sure enough, at 5pm, he dropped a video letting everyone know that he’ll be releasing the highly anticipated Carter V on his birthday, September 27th. “On my birthday, I actually have something special. I WILL BE RELEASING THA CARTER V on my birthday. Ya’ll hung in there with me for the past 30 million years, so I can’t do nothing but thank yall. Every ounce of anything I have left in my heart, it goes to yall.” Wayne will also be honored at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards. Ya’ll ready for new Weezy?

Photos by Lauren Cowart Celebs Out For Hennessy 200th Anniversary Bash Celebs Selita Ebanks and Karrueche Tran helped Hennessy celebrate the 200th anniversary of its signature V.S.O.P Privilège at a private house party in L.A. The actresses were both in attendance at last weekend’s party where artists K. Roosevelt and Buddy performed while guests sipped on specialty cocktails. Photos by Lauren Cowart The event was also where Hennessy unveiled a new limited edition offering in honor of its 200th anniversary: a collector’s box that pays homage to the original V.S.O.P label – a traditional Charentaise bottle reworked through a modern lens. DJ Trauma was honored with a Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège Toast (#PrivilegeToast). Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège Toast honors individuals who master their craft, doing exceptional work in their respective areas of entertainment, music, and business. The dinner was held Friday night with close friends toasting to Trauma’s continued success at Megu in the meatpacking district. Joining in on the toast were DJ Chyrstal, R&B singer Estelle, Dave Chappelle , Omarion, and many more. Trauma and guests enjoyed a specially curated menu and Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège cocktails. Cheers to them! Global Spin Awards Honoree Dinner For Funk Master Flex And DJ Premier Clap it up for Premo and Flex who were honored this week by Hennessy and the Global Spin Awards! Hennessy VS and The Global Spin Awards hosted a “GSA Honoree Dinner” Honoring Hip Hop Pioneers DJ Premier and Funk Master Flex at ZBar in NYC. Guests including DJ Khaled, DJ Premier, Harve Pierre and DJ Jazzy Joyce were treated to a multi course meal including, Charcuterie, Chilean Sea Bass, Grilled Chicken and specialty Hennessy V.S cocktails. During the evening Shawn Prez toasted to Premier & Flex who were presented with the Hennessy V.S Limited Edition Shepard Fairey Bottle and the Hennessy Privilege Limited Edition. Chris Brown Celebrates Album Release With Karrueche, Pusha T, And More In Los Angeles

Last night, singer Chris Brown was spotted celebrating with Hennessy V.S cocktails for the release of his 6th album titled “X” at Emerson nightclub in LA. Breezy’s boo Karrueche, rapper Pusha T, actor and comedian Kevin Hart, stand-up comedian and actor DeRay Davis, actor and producer Damien Wayans and star of Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood Hazel E all came out to support and joined the celebration. Pumped up from the release of his new album, Chris Brown took to the stage for a performance and Pusha T performed shortly thereafter. Everyone danced the night away and enjoyed sipping on Hennessy V.S cocktails. Peep more pics here:

Told y’all … Chris Brown And Karrueche Spotted Together After Breakup Reports Even though just a few short days ago they were thumb-thugging by deleting photos of each other on Instagram, Chris Brown and Karrueche are clearly back on. Breezy and his lil boo thang were spotted Thursday at L.A.’s Create nightclub celebrating the launch of the Hennessy V.S. limited edition Shepard Fairey bottle. The duo posted up in V.I.P. and sloshed down Henny with other guests including Hit Boy, Travis Barker, Sevyn Streeter, DJ D-Nice and Kendrick Lamar who performed. R&B super group TGT shut it down in Chicago recently at their Hennessy V.S sponsored album listening session for their new CD, “Three Kings”. Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank hopped on top of a bar at Chi-town hotspot, Bodi Chicago, and performed several songs from their new album, including their latest hit, “I Need”.
