Is DeRay smashing that in real life? Letoya Luckett turned 32 this week and she’s been celebrating with lots of partying in Hollyweird. Tuesday, March 12th Team Hennessy kept the party going for LeToya Luckett as she continued her 32nd birthday celebration at the newly renovated Hollywood hotspot Emerson Theatre. LeToya arrived with group of friends and was escorted through the packed venue and was immediately greeted by friends Kevin Hart, DeRay Davis, and Damion Dante Wayans and a slew of Hennessy V.S bottles at her VIP table. The night was filled with celebration as DJ Orator and DJ Dubz kept the pack club partying the night away and gave special shout outs to LeToya all evening. The starlit was singing and dancing the night away while enjoying Hennessy V.S specialty mixed drinks; The Inc’s very own Irv Gotti was also spotted at the packed club along with a group friends. Somebody must’ve told a great “short” joke! Last night, The W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta played host to the “2nd Annual ASCAP Atlanta Legends Mixer Presented By Hennessy Black.” The elegant affair attended by some of Atlanta’s movers and shakers honored rap superstar and actor T.I., music executive Michael Mauldin, singer and music exec Perri “Pebbles” Reid, Kendall Minter and Noontime. The event was hosted by Jermiane Dupri and DeVyne Stephens and was attended by a who’s who of celebrities, including Jazze Pha, YMCMB singer Shannell, DaBrat, Dondria, Christopher Hicks, Derek J, Johnta Austin, Atlanta city council members Kwanza Hall and Ceasar Mitchell and more. Ashley Reid is almost as much of a banger as her mom Pebbles was back in the day! And we’re suddenly realizing how much “Lil” Aaron really does take after his mom… What a precious family. You don’t feel as if he values you or your opinions, but you deal with it. He has habits that make your skin crawl at the mere thought of them. You love him, but you know that you’re no longer in love with him. The connection is gone but you’re still holding on. Why? Although I never claim to be a relationships guru, I have been in a few relationships. Some have been better than others, and quite frankly some lasted much longer than they probably should have simply because I wasn’t ready to let go. Not only had I grown apart from my significant other, I had almost grown to even detest hearing his voice; still I stayed, at least until I absolutely couldn’t take it anymore. Many women choose to stay in relationships that are not beneficial to them mentally, spiritually, or emotionally. Some choose to stay for financial reasons, which can be a factor, but should never be the total basis of a relationship; but other women choose to stay for reasons that they haven’t even considered because they’re not as obvious.
