Minute Meditation: A Prayer For Peace

More here:

There is the kind of peace that does not give heartache, emotional distress or unnecessary fear. The peace the world gives put a person or nation under tribute or servitude. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen. There comes a time in every adult’s life when all they want or need is peace. It is the relief from It is human nature to worry, become fearful, or desperate when one’s life is in excessive turmoil . But Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” the things in life that are unnecessary, strife filled or empty useless battles. It is often the hardest thing to obtain, but the one thing we desperately need. There is only one true reality of how you obtain it. Minute Meditation:Prayer To Ease Worries

Here is the original post:

Struggling with repeated worries can be a real challenge. The following prayer invites God to calm and guide those who struggle with anxiety. Worry is a continuous pattern of ineffective thought. Worrying is unresolved thought that leaves you unproductive. “God of power, calm my mind. Let me rest in You. Ease my anxiety, and let me simply be- quiet and peaceful in your arms. Amen.” Your worry prevents you from acting, because when you are worrying, you miss the opportunities that you would see if you were not so focused on your fear. If you ever watched a dog chasing it’s tail, then you can understand how worrying is an endless cycle. Worrying will not bring you a single token of resolve, it’s fruitless, worrying takes you out. Minute Meditation: Prayer for Safety

In light of all the craziness that is happening in our world with natural diasters and war, let us place all our worries and cares before the One we know cares.Throughout the Bible we are constantly reminded to “fear not.” It is not God’s will that we live in anxiety or fear, ever. Remember, He is well able to protect you, your family and all who take a stand on His Word. The following is a prayer based on Scripture. We always seem to rush about thinking that we must handle everything in our lives ourselves by ourselves. That is far from the truth. We should never feel ashamed to lay before our stronger Power our concerns for safety and protection.  You can pray this over your children as they leave your homes for the day. It will give you a chance to have a few scared minutes with them. The light of God surrounds you, The love of God enfolds you, The power of God protects you, And the presence of God watches over you; Wherever you are, God is. Put yourself and God in remembrance of His Word and know that the only “safe” place there will ever be is under His protection. There is nothing that you can’t bare if you lay it there.
