It wasn’t long ago that Lauren and Josiah Duggar revealed to the world that they were expecting a baby girl . The couple recently took a break from Duggar Baby Mania to celebrate their first wedding anniversary . Now it’s back to business as Lauren blesses her fans with a new baby bump photo, and from the looks of it, she couldn’t be happier! On Sunday Lauren posted this latest pic to the joint Instagram account that she and Josiah share. The shot shows Laruen smiling peacefully as she looks down at her ever-growing belly. Maybe it’s the pregnancy, maybe it’s a filter, but Lauren’s definitely got a healthy glow about her. Lauren is sporting one of her characteristically modest outfits — a light blue, spaghetti-strap maxi dress with a geometric pattern, over a plain white t-shirt. The look seems comfy, and elegant in its simplicity. The shot is also smartly staged, with Lauren’s dress really popping against the greenery of the background. In the caption, Lauren says she feels blessed by this new preganancy, but also reflects on the pain of losing her first one. “Life is such a gift and something I cherish more now,” Lauren captions, “with all that we have gone through this past year.” “This pregnancy hasn’t been easy,” the 20-year-old reveals. But she is definitely grateful to have this second chance. “I treasure every moment,” Lauren says. She believes “Life is truly a miracle from God.” Lauren concludes her caption with some thankful hashtags: #blessed, #lifeisagift, and #donttakelifeforgranted Fans loved the post and the look, taking to the comments section to show their adoration. Lauren’s sisters-in-law, Anna and Jill Duggar, each showed their approval by leaving pink heart emoji, with Jill adding, “Beautiful mama!” We all know the Duggar girls are tight-knit, but it’s still sweet to see how they support each other on and off social media. As fans saw throughout Season 9 of Counting On , the Duggar clan was extremely supportive of Lauren and Josiah after they lost their first pregnancy. The couple went through a difficult time as they mourned the loss of the baby they were so excited to meet. But on May 20th, there was joy on the horizon as the pair took to Instagram to annouce they were expecting again ! “We are so excited to annouce that baby #2 is on the way!!!!,” they wrote in the caption. But even this joyous news was tinged with a hint of sadness, with the couple revealing the name they would have given their first child. “As we rejoice of the life of our second sweet baby, we also remember … our other sweet baby, Asa, in heaven.” “God is so incredibly good!” Their caption concluded. Throughout their heartbreaking stuggle with the miscarriage, Lauren and Josiah remained hopeful. It’s nice to see their patience rewarded with a sweet new baby on the way. It's tough to sympathize with anyone who's been accused of rampant child abuse and countless other violent acts, and who chose to defend the man who murdered her pet dog . But everyone once in a while, Jenelle Evans reminds us that she is, in fact, a human being. Over the weekend, Evans revealed that she suffers from depression and will be stepping away from social media for the time being. Fans were mostly skeptical that she'll actually be able to take a break from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, but others were more interested in speculating as to the cause of Jenelle's seemingly self-diagnosed “depression.” And many came to the conclusion that Jenelle is just pissed off her post-Teen Mom businesses keep failing, which means she might eventually be forced to get a job. Take a look: 1. The New Face of Unemployment It’s been three months since Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2, and it seems she has no intention of getting a “real job.” 2. It’s only mid-July, but all over the country, school districts are shortening breaks in favor of longer school years. And so, in some areas of the South (Where their summer breaks tend to start and end earlier.), it’s already back-to-school season. Most kids are probably pretty bummed about starting school in mid-July — but we’re guessing Kaiser Griffith and Maryssa Eason are pretty okay with it. Yes, it’s hard to believe he’s growing up so fast, but little Kaiser began kindergarten this week. Jenelle posted photos of Kai’s first day of kindergarten and Maryssa’s first day of 7th grade on her Instagram page this week. “#FirstDayOfSchool,” she captioned the pics. “These kiddos are getting so big, so fast!” Jenelle continued, adding the hashtags, “#BittersweetMoments #Motivated and #SchoolDays.” Some fans were taken aback that Jenelle’s kids start school so early in the summer. Others, of course, are still in shock that she was able to regain custody of Kaiser and Maryssa . Yes, as we’re sure you know, Evans lost custody of three of her kids following a CPS investigation back in May. The shocking decision to dismiss the case did not go over well on social media — which is no great surprise, what with the kids being returned to a home with a psychopath who’s known to shoot and kill beloved pets during his infamous temper tantrums. Jenelle’s comments section is a curated space these days, with the disgraced former reality star devoting a lot of time to deleting negative comments. But clearly, she didn’t catch them all — or consider the fact that folks on other social media platforms can still discuss her pics with impunity. “Ummm I thought you coparented with everyone fine? Where is his Father & WTF kind of school/parents would let this guy around their kids?” asked Twitter user @anon_mafioso, remarking on Nathan Griffith’s absence from the photos “You should be thankful you even get to see those kids,” Instagrammer shesworthwords commented. That one pretty much sums up the general feeling toward Jenelle getting her children back. She made it clear from the start that she considers herself the victim of an appalling injustice and feels that her kids were taken from her as the result of a smear campaign coordinated by the media and her family. This, obviously, is batsh-t thinking, but it’s what we’ve come to expect from Jenelle. We just hope that she occasionally takes some time out from her self-pity to consider the fact that is indeed quite lucky to have her kids returned to her — and she should do everything in her power to provide a safe and stable environment for them, so that they need not be uprooted again. When the world learned that Jenelle Evans had regained custody of her kids , the most common reactions among longtime Teen Mom 2 viewers were as follows: Shock Disgust. Many theorized that it wouldn’t be long before Jenelle and husband David Eason reminded the world of why they were deemed unfit parents in the first place. And many of those skeptics felt they were proven right when Jenelle posted a photo of herself with son Kaiser on Monday. Not just any photo, mind you. In it, mother and son are taking a dip in the backyard pool, though it looks like Kaiser may not be totally thrilled with this. More than a few people online wondered if he wanted to be there at all … or whether he was in grave danger. Look: Evans deleted the pic almost immediately after her Instagram comments section erupted with negative feedback. Some felt that the Teen Mom 2 terror was coercing her son into engaging in an activity that he wasn’t enjoying. That’s the best-case scenario. Others took their accusations a step further and alleged that Jenelle was holding the poor boy underwater. Why? So that she might snap a photo proving how much “fun” he’s having since being returned to his mother? We honestly have no idea, but people weren’t happy and they let her know about it and then some. “Kaiser looks so grumpy he doesn’t look happy,” wrote one Instagram user, stating the obvious. Of course, that was pretty mild compared to what some of Jenelle Evans’ followers had to say. And it was probably the direct allegations of abuse that led the Carolina Hurricane to take the post down. Among those who were unhappy that she regained custody of her kids was Kaiser’s father, Nathan Griffith. Nathan was reportedly an “absolute wreck” after the court’s decision was handed down in Jenelle’s favor. Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, still has custody of her oldest grandchild, 9-year-old Jace, as she always has. Two-year-old Ensley has been removed from her care and returned to the Easons, per the judge’s decision. “The Columbus County judge did a great injustice to these children,” the elder Evans said at the time. “Jace was very upset and didn’t want to go so I didn’t send him back.” Jenelle, of course, was overjoyed by the decision, and she’s repeatedly broadcasted her giddy glee on social media: “I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back!” she told People magazine last week after the stunning reversal. “Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.” Yeah … Many have argued that she’s proven the opposite in the short time that the kids have been back in her care. Whatever the case, the days since the judge’s controversial dismissal have certainly been eventful. Following a police report indicating that she faked the murder of her pet dog as part of a publicity stunt, Jenelle tried to clear the air. OK, so this is some really terrible news. Like, just sincerely awful. Because you know how Jenelle Evans is the world's worst pet owner? There are so many examples of this, like there's the old Teen Mom 2 scene where she kept her dog and Nathan Griffith's dog in cages that were way too small for them. She yelled and screamed at them and even let them loose outside and told them to leave — they could have easily been hit by a car. Then there was the time that she tried to get that same dog of hers to fetch a lit firework. That very same dog — her pitbull, Jax … he's been through a lot — seems to have a broken tail in the photos and videos she's shared of him in the last couple of years, lots of people are mad about that. And then, of course, there's the case of Nugget, her little French bulldog . You know what happened, but real quick, let's recap. See, Nugget was never trained properly, and it seems like Jenelle and David never taught the kids how to interact with animals in a respectful way. We saw that in that video David shared on Instagram of Ensley climbing all over Nugget and getting close to her face, even though the dog was very clearly uncomfortable. Nugget gave her a warning nip, as dogs tend to do — a little “back up” communication. She didn't even break the skin, but David grabbed her, threw her outside, and shot her . We know that because both David and Jenelle said that's what happened, as did countless reports about what went down at the Eason home in the following days. Now, Jenelle is saying that she's not sure what happened to her dog , but she never heard a gunshot and she never saw David do anything. Ridiculous, right? You know what else is ridiculous? They just got two new puppies. In a new video David shared on his YouTube channel, he introduces the puppies — two Anatolian Shepherds named Buddy and Junior. In his caption, he explained that “Recently we had to find a better way of protecting our chickens and livestock.” “We have hawks and crows always eating the heads off our chickens and plastic owls are not doing the trick.” He said that poor Jax, Jenelle's old pitbull, killed one of their bigs, so “we decided to give him to a friend.” “After lots of research we came across this breed of dog called the Anatolian Shepherd,” David continued. “They are one of the most unique types of dog I have ever seen and have the best temperament and disposition of any dog I have ever owned.” He finished up his explanation with “They are a livestock guardian breed and do not mind eating and sleeping with all our animals on The Land!” Right, so this is horrible for several reasons. One, they have absolutely no business owning any animals after what happened to Nugget, and it's insane that they're flaunting two new puppies like this. Two, David keeps talking about how sweet and calm the puppies are in the video — does he really think tiny little Nugget was more dangerous than these two? Three, a quick bit of research on this breed shows that they're working dogs, and without rigorous training, they can become destructive and aggressive. They can also grow to be well over 100 pounds, with males reaching up to 150 pounds. If they couldn't handle training Nugget, who was maybe ten pounds, then what are they going to do with two 100+ pound dogs? They obviously didn't learn anything with the CPS case and the animal cruelty investigation, and we know all the kids go out and help with tending to the animals. The untimely death of Nugget, Jenelle Evans' poor little French bulldog, made a whole, whole lot of waves. And that's because the dog was killed by Jenelle's husband, David Eason. Or was she? Did David actually kill the dog? Is everything we know a lie? In the past few days, Jenelle has been talking more and more about what happened, and she's made an even bigger mess of everything, if you can even believe it. She's made a mess so big, in fact, that she may be facing charges for it. 1. Buckle Up! This is a long, complicated, sometimes infuriating story, all right? RIP Nugget At the end of April, David shot and killed Nugget, Jenelle’s dog, after she allegedly bit Ensley. It was a huge story at the time, and clearly it still is. 3. The Confession After the news of Nugget’s death broke, David took to Instagram to explain his side of the story, writing “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that sh-t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission.” 4. Worth Killing For “Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me,” he continued. “You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.” 5. Confirmed Jenelle confirmed the awful news several times in different statements — like, she said “David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.” 6. More Evidence She shared countless stories on her social media accounts about how David had killed the dog, she posted a sad story about how devastated she was that the dog was gone and never coming back … like, we all know what happened. By now, yopu've probably heard the entire sordid story of how Jenelle Evans lost custody of her kids. The short version goes something like this: David Eason shot and killed Jenelle's dog in a fit of rage; the entire world freaked out because who the hell does that; CPS investigated and took the kids away to homes with fewer dog murders. By now, most of us familiar with that narrative. But this is Jenelle Evans we're talking about, which means there might be several layers of dishonesty, fabrication, and flat-out BS in plahy here. Sure, no sane person would ever pretend that their husband executed the family dog, but that doesn't mean Jenelle would never do such a thing. Yes, believe it or not, police now believe Evans might have made the whole thing up for publicity. Check out the latest wild allegation against the former Teen Mom 2 star: 1. The Nugget Incident Back in April, Jenelle told police that Jenelle shot and killed her French bulldog, Nugget, after the animal allegedly made a threatening gesture toward her 2-year-old daughter, Ensley. 2. Partner In Crime David has corroborated that story many times since, claiming that he made a split-second decision and dragged Nugget out of the house and shot him. 3. “Evidence” Eason even posted this photo which he claims shows a scratch on Ensley’s face, which was left there by David. 4.
