Abby Lee Miller: Charged with Bankruptcy Fraud!

According to a federal grand jury, Abby Lee Miller has been dancing to her own beat for years. Her own ILLEGAL beat, that is! The reality star, whose Lifetime series has been deemed the fakest of all-time , filed for bankruptcy back in 2010 and remained in insolvency for three years. As a result of this legal maneuver, Miller was obligated to report all earned income to the court, which includes anything made via programs such as Dance Moms and Ultimate Dance Competition. Simple enough, right? Not for Miller. She allegedly set up a hidden bank account into which she diverted over $755,000 in income taken home from TV shows, merchandise and apparel sales, along with dance lessons at her studio. Ironically, bankruptcy Judge Thomas Agresti grew suspicious of Miller after seeing commercials for her various television appearances. He ordered a hearing for Miller to disclose her full income, at which point it was discovered that she was hiding a significant share of her earnings. Miller has been indicted on 20 counts of fraud and faces up to five years in prison for each count, if convicted. Yes, Abby Lee Miller could go to jail for 100 years!!!! We doubt that will happen, but it will mean you better watch Dance Moms online while you can. It’s not hard to envision Lifetime yanking the program if its lead gets put behind bars.

David Kernell, Sarah Palin Email Hacker, Finally Out of Prison, Off Probation

David Kernell, the former college student who hacked Sarah Palin’s email in 2008 looking for politically damaging information, is FINALLY off probation. Kernell’s prison term ended in November 2011, and a judge has now ended his post-prison probation, The Commercial Appeal of Memphis, Tenn., reports. He was scheduled to remain on probation until late 2014, but Judge Thomas Phillips agreed to Kernell’s request to end his probation early. As NBC affiliate WBIR notes, Kernell’s attorney Wade Davis continues to argue, five years later, that his client only committed a youthful prank. When he did hack Palin’s email, the young man was a student at the University of Tennessee. He did complete his degree after he was out of prison. Phillips didn’t want to send Kernell to prison in the first place. In fact, he had ordered the college student to report to a halfway house in Knoxville. However, the U.S. Bureau of Prisons overruled Thomas and instead sent the 22-year-old prankster straight to the slammer for his cyber “crime.”

Breaking: Ohio Teens Found Guilty Of Forcing Sex On High School Classmate

Steubenville Teens Found Guilty In Sexual Assault Case The verdict has just been announced in the high-profile case of the two Ohio teens accused of forcing sex on their classmate. via CNN Two Steubenville high school football players accused of forcing sex on an allegedly drunk 16-year-old girl were found guilty by an Ohio judge on Sunday. Judge Thomas Lipps announced his decision after reviewing evidence presented over four days of testimony in the case against 17-year-old Trent Mays and 16-year-old Ma’lik Richmond, who were tried as juveniles. Mays and Richmond were tried before Lipps, a visiting judge, without a jury. The trial moved quickly — and through the weekend — to accommodate the judge’s schedule. Mays was also found guilty of disseminating a “nekkid” photo of a minor. Mays was sentenced to a minimum of two years in a juvenile correctional facility. Richmond was sentenced to a minimum of one year, but like Mays could be in detention until he is 21. Photo Credit: CNN
