Kim Zolciak recently posted a photo of her son Kash Biermann , gushing about her love for her ‘not so little’ “Hair King”. She wrote, “He is such a BIG BOY he is only 6. he melts me. his heart is unreal.” The sentiment was nice, but the comments were off the hook. Folks can’t believe that Kash is only six years old. One person wrote, “Nah. That’s a whole man”. When we went through the list of what The Real Housewives of Atlanta get paid , we mentioned that Kim Zolciak is busy doing her own thing. Housewives salaries are notoriously hefty, but Kim is making more than most of them for Don’t Be Tardy . And she just got a major raise. Take a look: “Kim is now making $125,000 per episode,” an insider reveals to RadarOnline . That is … a lot of money to make at all, let alone for a single episode. (Though we will acknowledge that it can take days, and dozens of hours of filming, to produce even one episode of a reality show, just as with scripted television) There are reportedly 12 episodes, but don’t worry, we won’t make you do math. The source continues: “which comes out to $1.5 million for the season.” The report continues, saying that Kim isn’t the only one who’s making bank. “And Brielle got a raise too,” the insider announces. The source says that: “Now she’s making $16,000 an episode.” Again, neither we nor this inside source are going to make you ask your phone to do this math. All told, Brielle will be “pulling in $192,000 for this season.” Earlier this year, some feared that this season might never be completed. Kim and Brielle were accused of racism , and that did not go over well at all. They even stopped filming in protest. But that protest may have been a ploy to increase their salary … and it worked. “Kim and Brielle negotiated more money,” the insider explains. Filming resumed, the source adds, “and they got a raise.” Kim and Brielle aren’t the only ones who are getting paid more. “While Kroy was playing football, he didn’t want or need to be paid much by the show,” the insider prefaces. “After he was out of the NFL,” the source continues. “He renegotiated his deal to become an executive producer.” “And,” the insider shares. “He got the same deal for Kim.” Well, good for both of them! “That way,” the source explains. “They can get more money from Bravo and the production company.” That is good thinking. Fame can be glamorous. The idea of being a reality star can be extremely appealing to some people on its own merits. But, at the end of the day, like most jobs — like almost every job — being a reality star is about getting paid. Kim Zolciak is a big name reality star. She’s raking in money to match. Though she’s still not making as much as NeNe Leakes. In her personal life, Kim recently got a breast reduction to reduce her mega-boobs to a more normal-sized large boobs. Kim turned 40 last spring, and she was really feeling the weight — literally — of her breasts, and decided that they weren’t worth back problems. That is her choice because it is her body. So, remember how that whole feud of Brielle Biermann and Kim Zolciak versus Kenya Moore started when Brielle pointed out on social media that she’d found roaches in NeNe Leakes’ home? Well, that’s not over. And now that #RoachGate was brought up again, NeNe and Kim are going at it on Twitter. Because #RoachGate came up again, thanks to The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s recent episodes featuring the Barcelona trip, the old resentments are boiling over and onto social media. “Wigfield & cigarette breath tried 2 discredit me all season long!” By “Wigfield,” she means Brielle Biermann. By “cigarette breath,” she means Brielle’s mother, Kim Zolciak. “They came [into] my house wit ROACH gate, I’m on drugs etc.” NeNe has accused Kim of racism , for which Kim has said that she received death threats . That’s scary and serious. NeNe’s rant continues: “I tried my best 2 befriend them but This is why U can never WIN when U play DIRTY.” Kim Zolciak hit back at NeNe with a series of tweets, writing: “This is exactly why I said this b–ch has to be on something.” Allegations of drug use aren’t really funny, but it seems that Kim believes that NeNe may be genuinely unstable. “She’s insane! Nobody wanted to be befriended by a b–ch who consistently shows their ass.” Remember, folks, that very few people become Real Housewives if they’re open to easily and quietly resolving interpersonal conflicts. They’re supposed to be entertaining, not nice. Kim insists taht she knows who NeNe is and what she’s really like. “WE know who you are. The REAL you! Nobody values your friendship. Haven’t for years! You have victims not friends.” Kim goes on to shoot down NeNe’s accusations. “‘Cigarette breathe?’ I haven’t smoked a cigarette in years.” Smoking is gross, but it’s a powerfully addictive habit and, until very recently, there were widespread social pressures for people to pick up the habit when they were very young. Even now, there are still pressures to smoke within certain pockets of society, such as in intensely rural areas and in industries such as modeling. Good for Kim Zolciak for ridding herself of that addiction. Kim goes on to double down on the presence, which was recorded on video, of roaches in NeNe’s house. “The bug was in your house just a few months ago. FACT What else?” As you may recall, when NeNe slammed Brielle Biermann as a Kylie Jenner wannabe , she also accused her of planting the bugs. Specifically, she said that they must have emerged from Brielle’s genitals , though she did not phrase it that way. Kim continued her retort to NeNe’s angry post. “I pray to god I’m not this miserable and bored at 50 Imagine being so sad and stupid that the only time anyone’s mentioning you is if you’re mentioning someone you ‘have no time for.'” Notice Kim’s dig about NeNe Leakes being older . That’s come up already during this feud. Kim Zolciak, though a mother of six children, is only 39 years old. “Off to film my OWN show!” Kim concludes. She then sends her best wishes to her fans. “Have a great day you guys! Stay blessed not stressed/pressed.” At the beginning, Kenya Moore was involved in the feud, but fans assume that she was only so outspoken because she was trying to save her job at the time. Now that Marc Daly has made his RHOA debut , she doesn’t need to fight with everyone in sight in order to have a storyline. But NeNe Leakes … is still who she’s always been. And the same goes for Kim Zolciak. Their explosive feud doesn’t show any sign of dying down in the near future.
Wendy Williams has some bad news for Chris Brown: She’s returning to the small screen. Following Williams announcement that she needed to take a filming hiatus due to a diagnosis of Graves’ Disease, which apparently caused Brown to celebrate , the talk show host has now provided fans with a pair of updates: FIRST, she will sit in her purple chair again for new episode starting on March 19. SECOND, actor Jerry O’Connell will serve as the show’s guest host until then. “Jerry has been such a good friend to me and to the show,” said Williams in a statement this afternoon, adding: “We’re happy to welcome him as a guest host while I’m out getting much needed rest. Can’t wait to get back in my purple chair!” The program’s producers indicated that O’Connell will fill in for all five new installments next week, prior to Wendy’s big comeback. Said the veteran actor in a statement: “I am so excited to help out and fill in. We all know nobody can fill the purple chair like Wendy, but I am honored to sit with her co-hosts and to bring the many fans all the Hot Topics they love. “Like Wendy tells us, I am going to Say It Like I Mean It.” Oh God, no. Please, Jerry. You seem like a nice guy. Please don’t go out there and say you’re sick of the #MeToo movement or call Oprah fat or any such headline-generating nonsense. On February 21, Williams announced she would be taking some time off due to Graves disease, which is an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid, in addition to other thyroid issues of which she was previously aware. “I’ll be back in two [weeks],” she half-joked at the time, adding in poor taste: “I’m not an heiress – who is going to pay my bills? Are you serious? I’m just saying, I come from working class.” Yeah. And you make seven figures a year now. Shut the heck up, Wendy. The co-presidents of the production company behind The Wendy Williams Show also released a statement. Last year, Kenya Moore made a choice to marry for love and respect her husband’s desire to not become a reality star. That decision may cause her to lose her peach. Kenya’s tried hard to make up for it, but it looks like she might be fired and replaced with Kim Zolciak . Ouch. Now it’s really looking like her time as a reality star is over, because producers are apparently on the hunt for fresh talent. RadarOnline reports that The Real Housewives of Atlanta producers are looking for new Housewives . Their source dishes on the process: “They are meeting so many new women and signing them up to film casting reels.” Some shows have potential contestants film their own casting reels, but they clearly want to see how these women perform with Bravo’s cameras rolling. “They want new Housewives in Atlanta and they are already testing a few ladies.” There’s no way of knowing if they’re filming them with each other, with hired actors, or even with existing cast members. But we imagine that they’ll hold off on introducing them to the main cast until a couple of big decisions are final. By big decisions , we mostly just mean whether or not Kenya is getting the boot. “They’re going to make the official call about Kenya and the other ladies right after the reunion.” That will be a huge decision, for the show but especially for Kenya. And also for Kim Zolciak who, as we’ve mentioned, has merely been a friend of the Housewives on this past season. “Kim coming on board full time won’t be determined until after the reunion is taped.” And a certain friend of NeNe Leakes’ status as a friend of the show may carry on … but they haven’t made that decision. “And Eva Marcille may or may not be brought back yet.” If you don’t quite remember what landed Kenya Moore in hot water in the first place, wonder no more. Last year, she had a secret wedding in which she married Marc Daly without the presence of any of Bravo’s cameras or producers. The whole point of being a Real Housewife is that the show follows your life, particularly huge milestones like a wedding. Unfortunately for Kenya, the man with whom she fell in love isn’t just camera-shy — he believes that The Real Housewives of Atlanta portrays black men in an unfairly negative light. His refusal to film with her means that Kenya has less screen time. Producers have reportedly been considering firing her and replacing her with someone who is committed to the role. Since then, she’s tried everything to get back on the good side of producers by showing that she doesn’t need her married life to be interesting. Kenya even went so far as to fake an explosive meltdown while the Housewives were doing charity work. But it clearly has not been enough. Kenya couldn’t go on the Barcelona trip. And the footage of her crying while her husband’s out of town isn’t exactly the sort of Real Housewives content that keeps viewers’ eyes glued to their television sets. Reportedly, this has already cost her $100,000. And she may be booted from the show. Kenya Moore’s loss could be Kim Zolciak’s gain, as the Don’t Be Tardy star and mother-of-six really wants to be a full Housewife again . Kim has never, ever shied away from the camera, and that goes for her whole family. But if producers are looking for new applicants, it may be that they’d prefer a fresher face. Some say that, if Bravo does fire Kenya, they’ll be punishing her for falling in love. Others say that they’ll be punishing Marc Daly for taking a moral stance against what he believes to be harmful content. Others, however, say that it’s just good business. Just because Kim Zolciak is no longer a full Housewife and doesn't get that huge Real Housewives salary doesn't mean that she can't pull her weight when it comes to drama. Specifically, after it appeared that Kim had claimed that Kandi Burruss tried to hook up with her, the two have been fighting over the truth. In the video below, Kandi is speaking out about her beef with Kim on Watch What Happens Live . Okay, so there's a lot of convoluted she-said-she-said going on, because The Real Housewives of Atlanta wouldn't be the success that it is if it weren't about a bunch of grown, affluent women participating in drama that most of us haven't seen since 7th grade. But it starts with Kim speaking to Sheree and what she says of Kandi Burrsss. “I also know a lot about Kandi. I'm just saying the threesome part with the hubby — the elevator's not going to the top floor if you're willing to share your f–king man.” And then Kim's accusation that Kandi propositioned her: “Let me tell you about Kandi — on my kids' life, if God strikes me dead — I wouldn't let her lick my box.” In other words, Kim appears to be claiming that Kandi wanted to go down on her, but that Kim declined. Kandi was displeased. Kandi took to Twitter to rant about Kim , and the two got into a bit of a social media tiff over it. “I’m sick of these bitches lying on me. @ KimZolciak I have NEVER wanted you or your box. And stop swearing on your kids while you’re telling lies. Lying ass bitch.” And then Kandi reminded Kim Zolciak that Kim is demoted to a part-time Real Housewife . She's a “friend of the housewives,” even though she's not exactly friendly. “Somebody’s really reaching for a permanent peach here… This is my house. You’re just a visitor!” Wow! Angrily, Kim Zolciak hit back, saying: “If anybody is lying it's you Kandi. You and your husband are full on swingers f–king all kinds of girls and can NEVER admit it.” So she's doubling down on her accusations. And she didn't let the reminder of her new, lesser status go unanswered. “And bitch if it weren't for me there would be no house. Remember I built this house!” So, that's already a lot. Well, Kandi is speaking on Watch What Happens Live , which has to be a little awkward, because Andy Cohen is the host but also, ultimately, her boss. “That's some bullcrap. That was a lie.” There's not a lot of ambiguity to that statement. “And then the thing that I really don't like is that she texted me and said that you guys edited her to make her look like she was saying that, and I said, first of all, from what I saw, it looked like you said that, so that's a lie.” As you'll see in the video below, Andy Cohen makes a point of drinking at the time rather than responding to Kim's indirect allegation of misleading editing. Kandi says that she just wants Kim to tell the world that it didn't happen. “If you didn't say that and they edited it, just tell the world. I'm still waiting. I'm still waiting for her to do it.” Maybe Kim wil do as Kandi wishes, but we wouldn't recommend that she hold her breath. Obviously, reality shows engage in all sorts of editing shenanigans. It goes with the territory. Maybe Kim didn't really say that. But it seems clear from Kim Zolciak's tweets that she's at least making some accusations of Kandi. You always assume that at least a decent chunk of the drama on the Real Housewives franchise is because everyone knows that the camera is there. People want screentime, they want fans, they want gifs, and they know that stirring drama and acting out can get that for them. But sometimes, those conflicts spill off of the show and even off of social media. And now the feud between two stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta could be on its way to court. Kim Zolciak is fuming at NeNe Leakes’ recent comments, and it’s enough that she’s hired a lawyer. Oh, boy. The long-standing (thought occasionally on-again, off-again) feud between NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak has been a real asset to The Real Housewives of Atlanta . People don’t tune in to reality television to watch people getting along and talking about having their pool installed. They want conflict. We don’t know that this says anything great about human nature, but peaceful coexistence is not entertainment. Anyway, unfortunately, when it comes to reality shows, the line between what’s just for show and what’s personal can so often become blurred. The most recent spat between these two Housewives revolves around what NeNe Leakes said about Brielle Biermann . Quite frankly, you don’t have to be Brielle’s mother to feel that NeNe crossed the line. Basically what happened was that Brielle has been a tangential part of her mom’s feud with NeNe for a while. We suppose that it’s not uncommon for adult daughters — Brielle is 20 years old and old enough to, you know, have opinions about her mom’s frenemies. In a video that Brielle recorded at NeNe’s home, Brielle mentions what appears to be a roach infestation and shows footage of multiple dark beetles that appear to be roaches. Gross! Let’s be clear — sometimes a few roaches can end up in someone’s house, especially if there’s a party where doors spend any amount of time being open. That’s just how life works. It doesn’t mean that the house is filthy or whatever. And also, even extremely nice, clean homes can have infestations of multiple varieties. Sometimes it’s just a matter of where your house is located and what creatures live there. NeNe did not appreciate Brielle’s video. At all. She blasted Brielle Biermann in a public manner, telling her what to do with her appearance and calling her racist (a claim that NeNe has also made many times against Kim Zolciak). Part of NeNe’s message was especially creepy and gross: “We don’t have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta ur funky pussy!” YIKES . So Kim Zolciak apparently decided that enough was enough. TMZ reports that the Don’t Be Tardy star hired an attorney at a high-powered law firm and is threatening to sue NeNe Leakes for millions if she doesn’t apologize to Kim and to her daughter. Specifically, NeNe needs to apologize for calling them racist. NeNe has made numerous comments on social media along these lines. “Kim & her child did something very wrong & disgusting! Black people and roaches in the same sentence don’t work for me boo.” (People of all races get bugs in their homes, NeNe) NeNe has also said: “Kim & her daughter oops whole family are racists!” In her rant against Brielle, NeNe included the tags “#racisttrash” and “#KKK.” A lot of people in this world are racist and might not even realize it, though NeNe doesn’t seem eager to provide examples of racism (and also seems fine with Kim when they’re getting along). But the “KKK” line is either the worst use of hyperbole that we’ve seen in a while or a serious accusation that deserves either evidence for why she thinks that the Zolciak-Biermann women are in a racist terrorist organization or a very solemn apology. Again, there are countless instances of real-world racism. It gets people killed and it makes them feel like outsiders in their own communities. For NeNe to throw around the word at Kim because they don’t get along, which is what appears to be happening, is unconscionable. And if NeNe truly believes that they’re racists, she should present to the world whatever it is that makes her think that. This is all right on the heels of NeNe Leakes wishing her heckler would get raped and then later issuing a less-than-perfect apology for it. Yes she was sorry, but she should not have said that in the first place. We know that NeNe has become famous for being such a reality television firebrand and saying whatever pops into her head, but even she needs to learn to filter or she’ll be doing a lot more apologizing in the future. Based on what we know, it sounds as though Kash’s injuries bordered on life-threatening. Zolciak described her son as “traumatized” and revealed that he nearly “lost a very important organ,” though she never specified which one. Kim is under no obligation to divulge the details of her son’s condition, but from what she chose to share, we can surmise that the incident left Kash with both physical and psychological scars that could last a lifetime. It’s for that reason that many fans are shocked by Kim’s choice of present for her son’s fifth birthday. According to a Snapchat from Kim posted yesterday, she and husband Kroy Biermann surprised Kash with a pit bull puppy. She shared a photo of the boy and his dog with fans, most of whom have been supportive of her decision. She captioned the image: “My heart is going to explode.” The choice of present resulted in some negative comments online for obvious reasons. Some bashed Kim as insensitive for putting the child in a position where showing fear would mean rejecting a birthday present from his parents. Others defended the reality star, pointing out that she’s posted photos of Kash playing with dogs on more than one occasion since his attack. Knowing next to nothing about Kash’s psychological state in the months following the attack, it’s impossible for us to say if the gift of a puppy was a bad idea or just what the doctor ordered. Whatever the case, it seems Kim’s youngest is recovering nicely. Kash started kindergarten earlier this week, and it seems the occasion took a serious emotional toll on Kim. “My nugget Kash is a bit more sensitive and shy. There is something about boys that just gets me,” Zolciak captioned an Instagram pic on Monday. “THANK YOU for all of your sweet comments through all my tears last night I didn’t feel as crazy knowing so many of you are going through the same.
