R&B songstress Monica was honored by ASCAP for her accomplishments as a recording artist alongside with legendary music manager Mona Scott’s and music executive Philana Williams last night in NYC. The Atlanta native couldn’t help but gush about her relationship with Shannon Brown.   “I think the cutest thing he does for me is this thing with my feet,” she said as her eyes lowered and her lips curled.  She went on, “I really love it when he helps my boys to dunk, ’cause he’s really known for dunking. He likes to help them dunk and they [the kids] think they’re doing it on their own.” The devoted mother of two spoke about balancing motherhood and the music business.  Noting that her children always come first she shared, “I do what they need, so I can do what I can.  I’m up at six a.m. getting them ready for school which is fine because I didn’t leave Missy’s [Elliott] house until four.” We couldn’t help but be impressed with her supermom abilities and the massive ring on her finger.  Talk about “put a ring on it!’ Check out the images below.
