Well, November 6th 2018 that all changed when Christine went to the polls and was not only turned away, but her entire voter record couldn’t be found anywhere. Her granddaughter Jessica Lawrence said her grandmother was devastated that she wasn’t allowed to vote. This story comes on the heels of a lawsuit aimed at Brian Kemp stating he used his power as Secretary of State to purge 340,134 voters from the rolls. Source: Paras Griffin / Getty In early April it was announced that Kendrick Lamar would be honored with a Pulitzer Prize for his art on his critically acclaimed album DAMN. and yesterday (May 30) the big day finally arrived as the Compton rapper touched down in New York City to accept his well-deserved award. This would mark the first time in history that a jazz or non-classical artist received the honor (even though many consider DAMN. to be a classic). Though he didn’t give a in-depth speech about the achievement, K. Dot did say it was “honor” and beautiful” to be recognized for his work as he’s “been writing my whole life.” Congratulations, King. Over the past several days, we’ve heard from nearly every member of the Kardashian-Jenner family in regard to the tragic Lamar Odom situation. Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian have all issued statements on social media in support of their troubled loved one. Khloe, who is technically still married to Lamar, flew immediately to her estranged husband’s hospital bedside in Las Vegas as soon as she learned he had fallen into a coma. She remained there all of last week and is expected to continue to support Odom now that he’s been transported to Los Angeles . “The past week has been incredibly difficult,” Khloe wrote this morning on her official website. “I am so thankful to family, friends, and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. “Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made.” Just a few days ago, Odom’s odds of survival were placed at a mere 50%. He may still need a kidney transplant and there’s a long road to recovery ahead. But at least there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic. “You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure,” Khloe added, concluding: “Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!” These words mark the first time the 31-year old reality star has spoken in public since Odom was found unconscious on October 13 inside a VIP suite at the Love Ranch South brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. Even though Teresa Giudice is still fighting her prison sentence , it seems she’s gradually coming to terms with the fact that she’ll soon be locked up. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months , as a result of a plea deal, which means she can’t contest her conviction (though she’s certainly been trying). She can, however, continue to act like a delusional diva and pay an army of lawyers to make the experience as comfortable and painless as possible. First, Teresa tried to land a spot in the prison that inspired Orange is the New Black (seriously), now she’s asked her legal team to fight for her right to fake hair: “Teresa has had her attorney inquire about keeping the hair extensions,” a source tells Radar Online. “She will need to take out her extensions before beginning her prison sentence.” The insider says Giudice “relies on the extensions to give her the look of a full head of hair.” Teresa’s hair is apparently “very thin,” and she doesn’t have much of it. The source says the extensions “cost Teresa thousands of dollars a year” and she receives new ones every two months. “She is genuinely afraid she’s going to end up bald by the time she leaves prison in two months,” says the insider. Marvel just blew the lid off the movie world. The studio held a special event today for select members of the media, announcing its next phase of blockbusters and superheroes, starting with this jaw-dropper: Chadwick Boseman will star as Black Panther in a film scheduled for a 2017 release. The actor (who portrayed Jackie Robinson in 42) appear on stage alongside Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. immediately after the announcement was made. Among the other major announcements dropped by Marvel: Captain American 3 will be titled “Civil War” and will hit theaters on May 6, 2016. Doctor Strange will be released on November 6, 2016. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is coming on May 5, 2017. Kevin Feige was on hand to unveil the title of “Thor: Ragnarok” (to be released on July 28, 2018). The Avengers 3 will be subtitled “Infinity War” and split into two part; the first will be released on May 4, 2018 and the second in 2019. Captain Marvel is coming on July 6, 2018. Lisa Vanderpump has been granted her own spin-off, some nonsense title “Sur” that will focus on a new restaurant she owns in Los Angeles. And, as a result, the reality star totally sucks now, her co-stars reportedly claim. “There are a lot of bad feelings because Lisa got her own show and Taylor for one thinks that Lisa has been acting like a diva during filming [of season three],” a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills source tells Radar Online. “Taylor and Lisa had gotten close after Russell’s suicide last year, but Taylor now feels like that was all done for the cameras.” Which would mark the first time in Real Housewives history that cameras played a role in a series relationship. Dates pushed back due to singer Anthony Kiedis’ foot injury. And they’re going to have to wait a bit longer. The band announced on Wednesday that it has been forced to reschedule the previously announced dates for it’s U.S. tour due to a multiple foot injuries suffered by singer Anthony Kiedis. According to a release announcing the new dates, Kiedis, 49, recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot. He’s expected to make a full recovery, but in the meantime a series of shows that were supposed to kick off on January 20 in Sunrise, Florida have now been pushed back to late March and April. Fans holding tickets for the postponed shows can use them at the rescheduled dates. The new dates for the RHCP tour:

By Gil Kaufman Nicki Minaj Photo: Getty Images The performer roster for the upcoming 54th annual Grammy Awards is beginning to fill out and Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift are among the nominated ladies who will take the stage on the show. They’ll have plenty of help from some of this year’s other nominees, as Kelly Clarkson, the Foo Fighters , Bruno Mars and Jason Aldean will also sing on the show. The show, which airs live on CBS on February 12, will mark the first Grammy performance for Aldean and Minaj. The Foos and Mars will go into the night with six nominations each, while Minaj is vying in four categories, including Best New Artist , where she’ll face off against Bon Iver, Skrillex, J. Cole and the Band Perry. Aldean and Swift are both up for three awards and Clarkson has two nominations. While many of the most decorated acts typically perform on the show, there is no word yet on whether the night’s leading nominee, Kanye West , who has seven nods, will play on the show. It’s also unknown if six-time-nominee Adele will be sufficiently recovered from her vocal surgery to make her comeback appearance on the broadcast. While Adele has not confirmed or denied her appearance, a recent report claimed that she is in talks to sing on the show now that she’s begun talking again with her doctor’s permission. Since she doesn’t want to rush back and injure her vocal cord again, the singer is reportedly waiting until early next month to decide if she can sing in public again.
