Amy Schumer May Be The Next Bachelorette!

It really may happen, people! With everyone in the free world dying for  Amy Schumer to be The Bachelorette , Maria Menounos sat down with the comic and asked what it would take for her to star on this ABC reality hit. And it sounds like Schumer would consider the gig under three conditions: MONEY! Back up the Brinks truck, ABC. Mocking how phony each interview with The Bachelorette sounds, Schumer said she would need permission to be herself at all times. Schumer says the “casting process” would need to be changed and no “turds” would be allowed to apply. “I love when it's like, ‘I have five kids at home but I just came here to follow my heart.' It's like maybe go take care of your kids?” she says. “I would keep it very real. Rob Kardashian Skips High School Reunion: Depression to Blame?

It’s been ten years since Rob Kardashian graduated from high school. He went on to obtain a degree in business from USC, design his own line of high-end socks, and even out-perform his famous sister on Dancing With the Stars. He’s obviously not the richest Kardashian , but at just 28 years old, Rob’s got some seriously impressive accomplishments under his belt.  He’s the kind of guy who probably looked forward to his ten year reunion a few years ago. Unfortunately, over the past year or so, life took its toll on Rob in a major way. Sources close to the only male Kardashian sibling say Rob has ballooned to over 350 pounds . He’s said to be suffering from addiction and depression. Back in March, he made headlines for publicly lashing out at his family, comparing his sister Kim to ” the b-tch from Gone Girl ” in a bizarre Instagram post. So it’s not surprising that Rob decided to skip his reunion this past weekend. What is surprising is that his sister Kim reached out to him and marked the occasion on social media: Kim posted the above photo on Saturday with a caption reading, “I wonder what it says.” It’s both a sad reminder of how close the siblings used to be (18-year-old Rob specified that Kim should be the one to pick up his letter), as well as a heartwarming indication that their relationship is on the mend. Kim and Rob have been interacting online recently for the first time in months, and it seems all is forgiven just a few months after Rob’s very public put-down. Watch This Cat Defend His Home Against an Angry Owl

In case you needed a reminder that cats are far braver than typically given credit for… A few days after posting footage of a feline showing no fear in the face of a mountain lion , we now present a somewhat old video of a cat standing up to an angry owl. After getting knocked back by the glass window between them, him and the scary bird, this cat jumps back up and initiates a stare down for the ages. The best part of the video takes place when one of the owners tries to get her husband to put an end to the confrontation and he replies: “I'm not touching that cat.” Anyone blame him?

WWDC 2013: OS X Mavericks Unveiled By Apple

At WWDC 2013 (Worldwide Development Conference), Apple Senior V.P. Craig Federighi unveiled the company’s latest version of OS X, OS X Mavericks. With OS X Mavericks, Apple is moving away from the cat-themed names of the first nine versions of OS X. RIP Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion . Among the most notable features of OS X Mavericks: Finder Tabs. Native to OS X (and not via third party apps) at last. Tagging. Files, folders and documents for better organization. Multiple Displays. Full-screen mode from OS X now supports multiple displays. Using Airplay, users can use an Apple TV powered monitor or TV as a full, secondary display. There’s a lot more to discuss about it too … OS X Mavericks will contain new features that improve battery life by reducing CPU activity up to 72 percent, offering better MacBook performance. It also has compressed memory which should improve response time. That means apps should load a lot faster and wake from sleep more quickly. A feature called App Nap is designed to figure out what apps are in use and what apps are just running idle and sucking power when not in use. Safari will offer a better sidebar and home page and reading lists from LinkedIn and Twitter, providing even more efficient, responsive access to articles. Apple is creating a new iCloud Keychain for passwords that work across devices. It’s encrypted and even comes with a suggested secure password. Not only can users respond to mail messages directly from a notification, push notifications from iOS devices can be sent directly to the desktop. iBooks and Apple Maps are now standalone applications for OS X. With iBooks, users can access their past purchases, bookmarks and content. For Maps, users can push directions from Maps to their iOS device and there will be an SDK so developers can integrate Maps into their own OS X apps. The calendar in OS X Mavericks drops the leather look of OS X 10.7 and OS X 10.8 and is a smooth, clean design. It now has better scrolling to boot. The app also speaks seamlessly with Apple Maps when it comes to directions and can even provide suggestions when creating new entries.

Lil Kim Labels Nicki Minaj a "Stupid Hoe"

It took some poking, and a bit of prodding, but Lil Kim came out with her true feelings last night. Appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live , the rapper was asked about Nicki Minaj, whether she thinks that artist is stealing her look/material and how she interpreted Nicki’s controversial Grammy performance . “I don’t know what that was. I’m pretty sure I feel the same way everybody else feels right about now,” Kim said at first, hemming and hawing before finally just saying:”If you have to make a song called ‘Stupid Hoe,’ you must be a stupid hoe.” Watch the exchange now: Lil Kim on Nicki Minaj: Stupid Hoe!

Mountain Lion: Apple Announces New OS X for Macs

Move over, Snow Leopard and Lion. Make room for an even bigger cat: Apple announced its latest version of OS X for Macs, called Mountain Lion, today. Mountain Lion is said to be more like iOS than ever, as Apple integrates various mobile services and moves to yearly OS updates across all of its devices. Mountain Lion is available for preview today in two ways: If you’re a consumer, you can read about the new features at Apple’s website. If you have a developer account, you can download and install the new OS X. Anyone running OS X Lion can download and install the beta version of Messages, a new app replacing iChat for instant messaging, and integrates iMessages, the Apple-only text-message replacement service for iPhone, iPad and now Mac. Even the name “Messages” indicates Mountain Lion’s overarching philosophy. It extends OS X Lion’s “Back to the Mac” approach of pulling many ideas and concepts from Apple’s revolutionary mobile ecosystem back into the desktop machine. There’s no more iChat, iCal or Address Book. Just Messages, Calendar and Contacts. Same names on all products, no more outdated “i” in front of app names. AirPlay, Game Center, Reminders, Notes and Notification Center are all new to the Mac too, looking much like their iOS counterparts, according to Apple.

One Bad Ass

A couple from Montana were out riding on the range, he with his rifle and she (fortunately) with her camera. Their dogs always followed them, but on this occasion a Mountain Lion decided that he wanted to stalk the dogs (you'll see the dogs in the background watching). Very, very bad decision… The hunter got off the mule with his rifle and decided to shoot in the air to scare away the lion, but before he could get off a shot the lion charged in and decided he wanted a piece of those dogs. With that, the mule took off and decided he wanted a piece of that lion. That's when all hell broke loose… for the lion. As the lion approached the dogs the mule snatched him up by the tail and started whirling him around. Banging its head on the ground on every pass. Then he dropped it, stomped on it and held it to the ground by the throat. The mule then got down on his knees and bit the thing all over a couple of dozen times to make sure it was dead, than whipped it into the air again, walked back over to the couple (that were stunned in silence) and stood there ready to continue his ride… as if nothing had just happened.
