Usually when you see “Depp” and “worried” in the same headline, the story involves someone being concerned about Johnny’s drinking . This time, though, Johnny is the one furrowing his brow. After several decades in Hollywood, Depp knows about the pitfalls of fame all too well. Now that his daughter, Lily-Rose Depp , is making a name for herself as a model and actress, the eccentric 52-year-old icon is understandably experiencing mixed emotions: “To be honest, I’m quite worried,” Depp told Germany’s Gala magazine during a recent interview. “I wasn’t expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age. But it’s her passion and she’s having fun.” In addition to her acting – Lily-Rose will star in Kevin Smith’s horror-comedy Yoga Hosers in 2016 – the 16-year-old is already making a splash in the modeling world. Lily-Rose has already landed an editorial spread in Vogue, and she was recently named the new face of Chanel. That’s an awful lot for any teenager to take on, but fortunately, Lily-Rose has her dad to guide her through the perilous path of sudden stardom. “She knows that I’m always there for her,” Depp told the magazine. Yes, Johnny may not always be the best at taking care of himself, but the man is insanely protective of his kids .
Kendall Jenner has gone on record in saying she is not dating Justin Bieber, despite reports to the contrary. Nor is she dating anyone else, for that matter. Speculation has run rampant that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and model has been coupling up with the pop superstar and epic douchebag. Not the case, she says, despite the fact that the two are in fact close. “He’s a longtime friend of our family,” Kendall said of the rumors during an interview on Nightline . “Everybody loves to assume things, but no.” As for whether she’s in a romantic relationship at all these days? “I’m not … I’m truly focusing on my career. If it comes it comes.” Jenner is certainly walking the walk (the catwalk if you will) to back up that talk. The brunette beauty was recently named the new face of Estee Lauder . The Hollywood Film Awards were held last night, and if you’ve never heard of the event, don’t worry – neither has anyone else. It was the first time the awards were televised. A-listers from Ben Affleck to producer James L. Brooks publicly dismissed the HFAs as a joke. In case you can’t tell, Johnny is presenting an award to Shep Gordon – subject of the new documentary Supermensch – because apparently the HFAs are the kind of show that honors people for being the subject of a documentary. Victoria Jackson has created yet another Internet stir. The former Saturday Night Live cast members – who has made headlines in the past for accusing Glee of making viewers gay and for singing that Barack Obama is a Communist – appeared this morning on Howard Stern’s radio show. Victoria Jackson: What is Gay Marriage?!? Asked for her take on gay marriage, Jackson said: “You have to take it up with God. God made the rules. He made a man and woman’s bodies fit together, he made the Ten Commandments. I believe the Bible is God’s word and I base all my world view on the Bible… “… I don’t think there’s such a thing as gay marriage. The definition of marriage is man and woman.” A couple weeks ago, Jackson also took to her personal YouTube channel and spoke with a woman conceived from a rape.
