WTF is goin’ on?!?! Hours after announcing she had filed for divorce from megachurch pastor Bishop Eddie Long, his wife, Vanessa, issued a statement Friday saying she had withdrawn her petition. Vanessa Long had issued a statement early Friday morning saying that she had filed for divorce Thursday from Long, the pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. By early afternoon, she had a change of heart. “Upon prayerful reflection, I have reconsidered and plan to withdraw my petition for divorce from my husband, Bishop Eddie L. Long,” she said in an emailed statement bearing the New Birth logo. “I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength and courage.” She went on to blame “years of attacks in the media” for her initial decision to seek a divorce. Literally hours after filing for divorce from her husband, Bishop Eddie Long , his wife Vanessa Long issued another statement saying she has withdrawn her petition. Vanessa Long made the announcement in the following statement: Upon prayerful reflection, I have reconsidered and plan to withdraw my petition for divorce from my husband, Bishop Eddie L. Long. I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength, and courage. My filing followed years of attacks in the media that frustrated and overwhelmed me. I love my family and church family, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Therefore, my husband and I have mutually agreed to find healing from these attacks. Chaka Khan јυѕt won temporary custody οf hеr 10-year-οld granddaughter bесаυѕе thе child’s parents аrе drug addicts says TMZ . The “I’m Every Woman” singer filed a petition for appointment of guardianship last week ,claiming she has already “assumed on a day-to-day basis the role of the child’s parent fulfilling both the child’s physical and psychological needs for care and affection.” Chaka claims the child’s mother who lives in the same house is incapable of caring for the girl because of a “heavy involvement in drugs.” Chaka’s sister Tammy McCrary who was also awarded custody,filed an additional statement in the petition, claiming Chaka’s son “also uses and abuses drugs and other illegal substances.” The judge temporarily granted the petition for custody on September 6th … and extended it today. A hearing is set for October to make it permanent. We’re glad Chaka cleaned her up her act so she could help her granddaughter. Fans Irate Over Michael Jackson Autopsy Special

Michael Jackson fans are not pleased with the idea of the late King of Pop’s autopsy being reenacted on TV, calling the concept an “affront to human dignity.” No arguments from THG there. The Discovery Channel is planning on broadcasting a gruesome reenactment of MJ’s autopsy in the UK next month, sending many Jackson fans into a tizzy. Fans have already gotten nearly 1,500 signatures demanding that the network nix the special , entitled simply and gruesomely Michael Jackson’s Autopsy . The fans behind the petition call the documentary offensive and add that “This type of sensational and unscrupulous reporting can only cause harm.” They conclude: “We ask the directors of the Discovery Channel programming to proceed with the outright cancellation of this indecent documentary.” Hopefully they succeed.
