A couple weeks ago Rihanna announced that she declined to perform at the Super Bowl in 2019. In her statement she mentioned that she was supporting Colin Kaepernick and was boycotting football. I think they should send a message while they’re onstage, take advantage of your platform.” He believes that Rihanna and other artists could do a better job with getting the message out. Rickey Smiley mentioned that if Rihanna decided to perform she could’ve just took a knee at the Super Bowl. Jeff Johnson is back and is giving us updates on several stories in the news. This past weekend a White woman many are calling “ Permit Patty ” called the cops on an 8-year-old Black girl for selling water. She told the cops that the little girl and her mother yelled outside her window and she didn’t like it. Follow @TheRSMS He believes she could’ve helped because she’s an entrepreneur herself, she could sell her water at the job or bought one herself. The problem is a lot of people view Black people as not being human. Jeff also spoke about Lesandro Guzman-Feliz aka Junior and how he was murdered for mistaken identity. He also spoke about a 9-year-old that was killed while waiting for her mom in the car by a stray bullet. Jeff was so saddened by all these stories and we must continue to pray for these families. News broke on Tuesday that Casey Anthony was acquitted on all felony charges in the death of her 2-year-daughter including capitol murder, which carried the death penalty. Surprisingly, the only charge that stuck was the misdemeanor of lying to a law enforcement officer. Unfortunately, nobody is answering for Caylee Anthony but whatever side of the fence you are on with this case one thing is for sure, Casey Anthony is a free woman because of her defense lawyer Jose Baez, a 42-year-old Latino described by the Miami Herald as “a former bikini salesman, high school dropout and deadbeat dad who barely made it into the Florida bar”. Baez doesn’t exactly hold the personal pedigree of somebody that’s just pulled off the legal upset equivalent of the 1980 Miracle of Ice but, ladies and gentlemen, I think we’ve found the new Johnny Corcoran.
