Blockbuster has told Hollywood movie studios that they plan on filing for Chapter 11 next month with the hopes of restructuring a “crippling debt load of nearly $1 billion” and escaping the leases on at least 500 of their 3,425 stores. Guess I should return that copy of My Cousin Vinny before it’s too late. [ LAT ]
