Last June, Cheerios came under fire for airing an ad that featured a biracial family having breakfast. YouTube was actually forced to shut down its Comment section due to online bigots dropping terms such as “Nazis,” “troglodytes” and “racial genocide.” So how has the company responding? By running back the same actors in a spot that will premiere this Sunday during the Super Bowl. Good for Cheerios! Titled “Gracie,” the commercial stars a a black father, white mother, and biracial daughter and teases a new addition to the family. Actually, two new additions.
