Hockey Player Says "Meow" 7 Times in Single Interview, Is Our New Hero

Ray Kaunisto is a hockey player for the Kalamazoo Wolves. He’s also our new hero. Following a recent ECHL game, Kaunisto went all Super Troopers during an interview, answering questions about the just-completed contest while trying to utter “Meow” as many times as possible in just 40 seconds. Ray Kaunisto Plays the Meow Game in Interview (For those who somehow don’t understand the origin for the Meow Game, go watch Super Troopers online . Trust us. You won’t regret it.) In the 2001 comedy, the Super Trooper who pulled over a motorist was able to squeeze 10 Meows into his interrogation – but while Kaunisto only managed seven, he had far less of a window in which to do so. For those keeping track at home, Kaunisto averaged one Meow every 5.7 seconds, an impressive rate that beats out the one featured here: Super Troopers Play the Meow Game “I thought about doing it a little bit before and then I just figured just let it rip and see what happens,” Kaunisto told MLive.com after the game. “I almost chickened out. I almost didn’t do it, but I kind of just went with it.” Amazing. Remember when this hockey player made this young fan’s day by waving to him? Well… Kaunisto just made our lives. Elementary Season 3 Episode 6 Recap: The Murder and the Map

Last night on Elementary Season 3 Episode 6 , the CBS mystery series centered on a thief willing to go out and commit a murder in order to steal a map. That’s got to be some map. But what was its significance? Watch Elementary Season 3 Episode 6 Online When Elementary Season 3 Episode 6 kicks off, Kitty and Watson get a text from Sherlock who directs them to the 39th Street Library where maps were stolen. Right away, they believe this was likely an inside job. There are scratches outside one of the locks, but the others are clean, suggesting they needed keys. Oh, and the security guard is then found dead. Kitty believes the body had to be in the room because of the other guards in the building. In other words, the killer couldn’t move him from the room. Sherlock believes that the thief was after but one map, a King James County Map donated by the Brays, and identifies the thief as Stuart Zupko. The police go to arrest him and find him dead, too. The Bray map is on display on a table, but Sherlock says it is a fake. They aren’t sure if the family knew that when it was donated, but it’s illegitimate. Sherlock says it’s part of a larger series, an atlas called Smythe’s Virginia, as he begins to piece together the clues that will unravel this mystery. Or will they!? Meanwhile, Watson grew increasingly worried about Sherlock’s obsession with Kitty’s personal life and Mamie Gummer guest starred on the episode. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Undergoes Wes Anderson Makeover

We’ve already seen what would happen if the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer had been directed by George Lucas : Many creatures, a lot of CGI and at least one appearance by a certain ghostly presence. But what if director Wes Anderson were to present the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer ? It might be set to “Le Temps De L’amour,” the song featured in the Moonrise Kingdom preview. It often might incorporate some overhead shots… and Anderson’s favorite font… and some mock Stormtrooper Polaroids. In other words: it might look and sound like this: Star Wars Force Awakens Trailer… Presented by Wes Anderson Thank you, genius Internet user who created this video and who referred to the mysterious Sith-like character in it as a “hooded ruffian.” It’s incredible. Pregnant Woman Fired For Taking Too Many Bathroom Breaks on the Job

Dawn Steckmann, a Portland, Oregon, woman, claims she was recently fired for taking too many bathroom breaks on the job while carrying her second child. The former technician at Maxim Integrated Products is filing a gender and discrimination lawsuit against the Beaverton, Ore., cell phone chip manufacturer. She says her bosses never told her she had to clock out before using the restroom, and you won’t believe the grounds she says higher-ups used to can her: Her lawsuit claims one supervisor told her she had been fired for stealing because “not clocking out to use the restroom is stealing from the company.” While that seems crazy, she said the same boss informed her that she could’ve just as easily been “watching a movie” during bathroom breaks. According to the lawsuit, Steckmann worked at the company for 10 years, and claims she discussed this with her supervisor during her first pregnancy. In 2011, she openly said that she needed more frequent bathroom breaks and asked if she needed to clock out. Her boss told her not to bother, she says. Even before she was fired, Steckmann complained that her supervisor favored male employees, assigning the best tasks to them and using less discipline. When she told her supervisor in January 2013 she was pregnant for the second time, he “appeared unhappy with the news,” the lawsuit stated. Because of a bladder condition stemming from her first pregnancy, she needed to relieve herself even more often during her second, and more quickly. “[Steckmann’s] bladder issues were so severe that she would not even have had time to clock out to use the restroom without an accident,” the lawsuit states. The lawsuit was filed last month in Multnomah County. Steckmann is seeking $400,000 in damages, and an attorney for the company did not comment. What do you think? Does she have a case? Discuss.
