It’s looking like Miami will continue to be the center of Teen Mom 2 drama next week! Here’s a brief recap of everything that’s been going on in the Sunshine State, in case you haven’t been keeping up: First, Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry both flew to Miami for plastic surgery sessions with the appropriately-named Dr. Miami. Kailyn canceled her procedure after experiencing a last-minute change of heart. Briana did go under the knife, and Dr. Miami shared her before and after photos on his social media pages today. (That may seem a bit sleazy, but you have to understand that plastic surgeons are basically the Charlie Sheens of the medical community.) Anyway, despite the fact that the past two days saw more surgical drama than an entire season of Grey’s Anatomy , the big story out of Miami this week is the news that Briana and Javi Marroquin are already back together after breaking up last month. Or at least they were … Javi joined Briana in Florida so he could be by her side in the hours leading up to her procedure. Fans assumed he would stick with her during her recovery, but just hours after her procedure, Javi was on Snapchat announcing that he was looking to go out and party in Miami. When fans accused him of ditching Briana, Javi offered no explanation or apology. Just the day before he was making appearances on her Snapchat, and all appeared to be well. So what went wrong in the interim? Well, there’s been no official word, but we’re guessing the surprise appearance by Briana’s baby daddy, Devoin Austin, didn’t sit well with Javi. Yes, it seems Devoin showed up, and a rightfully pissed-off Javi immediately took off. “I should’ve never went,” Javi told Radar Online about the incident. “I should’ve went to LA like I was supposed to. We broke up for a reason and yesterday reassured me of that.” To make matters worse, it seems Javi’s ex-wife has been keeping close tabs on the situation and loving every second of it. All week, Kailyn has been teasing fans with the prospect of a big revelation involving Javi. Many assumed that the Devoin situation was the tea that she planned to spill, but a tweet she posted moments ago suggests there’s more big Javi news in the offing: “Everyone’s asking where the tea is at but Javi’s been through enough so I’m not gona put him through more shit,” Lowry wrote. Lena Dunham is getting very good at issuing apologies. In the past, the actress has issued Mea Culpas for cracking wise about her uncle molesting her and also for comments she made about New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. This time, however, Dunham is here to walk back a remark she made on a recent podcast in which she said she wishes she had had an abortion. Her major bad, right? The outspoken liberal star was featured this week on the program Women of the Hour , explaining how she had never undergone through the turmoil of terminating a pregnancy. When speaking to those who had undergone this procedure, and trying to advocate for their rights, Dunham realized that she could not fully understand what they went through. This prompted Dunham to tell her audience the following: “I wish I had an abortion.” Watch the video below to hear her make this unfortunate remark: Lena Dunham: I Wish I Had an Abortion! The criticism came fast and furiously against Dunham in light of this outlandish desire. She was slammed on social media for her comments, with many users branding her “offensive” and accusing her of trivializing the procedure. It’s understandable why folks would have this reaction. Here it is, in its entirety: My latest podcast episode was meant to tell a multifaceted story about reproductive choice in America, to explain the many reasons women do or don’t choose to have children and what bodily autonomy really means. I’m so proud of the medley of voices in the episode. I truly hope a distasteful joke on my part won’t diminish the amazing work of all the women who participated. My words were spoken from a sort of “delusional girl” persona I often inhabit, a girl who careens between wisdom and ignorance (that’s what my TV show is too) and it didn’t translate. That’s my fault. I would never, ever intentionally trivialize the emotional and physical challenges of terminating a pregnancy. My only goal is to increase awareness and decrease stigma. I take reproductive choice in America more seriously than I take literally anything else, and therefore own full responsibility for any words I speak that don’t convey this truth clearly. I know plenty of people will never like a thing that leaves my lips, mea culpas or no, but this apology is for the women who have placed their trust in me. You mean everything to me. My life is and always will be devoted to reproductive justice and freedom. You know how in some households you curse and have to put money in a jar? Well in mine, if you mess up your pro-choice messaging you have to give a sizable donation to abortion funds (https://abortionfunds.org/need-abortion) in New York, Texas and Ohio. I look forward to fighting with you all for the next four years and beyond. Dunham included a photo of the word “choice” with this apology. Do you think the apology is sufficient? Do you understand where Dunham was coming from? Are you on her side… or were you never on her side? Dunham is both beloved and hated for so often speaking her mind, but no matter where you stand on the star, we can probably all agree that she ought to sometimes think a little more about her discretion and word choice.
Kim Zolciak has an awful lot in common with that other reality star Kim: They both like to show off their backsides; they’ve figured out how to maintain steady incomes despite never doing any real work; and they both tend to be a little less than honest about what sort of cosmetic procedures they’ve undergone: Just last week, Zolciak claimed she’s never had any plastic surgery . No negative Nancy’s please I love to share my ‘secrets’ with you guys. I do it because it works and It makes me feel better about me.” In fairness, it’s not technically plastic surgery. And Kim only claimed that she hadn’t had any work done on her face. Naturally, fans responded by circulating before-and-after photos all over social media, and being all,”Oh, reeeeeeally?” In all likelihood, she’s probably well aware that the average person doesn’t make much of a distinction between plastic surgery and implants/injections/whatever the hell else Kim has had done. So she can claim she’s never had any plastic surgery and we guess she’s technically sort of, kind of telling the truth. But the fact remains cosmetic procedures are still a very big part of Kim’s life. Fortunately for us, she enjoys showing off the results on social media. There’s no denying she looks good. And, hey, even better is the fact that we know this pic is consensual. Unlike when Kim posted a nude photo of Kroy Biermann without his knowledge. Yes, as long as Kim keeps her TMI weirdness to herself it’s all good. Courtney Stodden is no stranger to plastic surgery. The 21-year-old has admitted to breast augmentation , temporarily lip fillers and porcelain veneers, but there was one more “flaw” that always bothered her: her nose. “I'm not wild about my bump on the side of my nose,” she told Entertainment Tonight . “In pictures or on red carpets I just feel really self-conscious about this bump.” So she decided to take the plunge and get a nose job. Her husband, 55-year-old Doug Hutchison, was by her side for the procedure, which Courtney allowed to be documented by ET cameras. “I'm so nervous!” she wails while waiting to go into the operating room. The reality TV personality says she vacillated a bit before making her final decision to go under the knife. “I debated and kind of pulled out and got nervous,” Stodden said from the operating room. “It took me a really long time to warm up to it.” She said the rhinoplasty will also correct some breathing problems she's experienced. When the bandages come off, Courtney is very pleased with the results. “I'm very happy, my bump isn't there anymore,” she beams. Post wisdom teeth-removal videos are all the rage these days, because we all know there's nothing funnier than teenagers whacked out of their minds on drugs. Just kidding, kids! You should only do drugs that are administered by doctors – and you should always make certain that an adult is there to record your hilarious reaction and post it all over the Internet. In the past year we've seen post-oral surgery teens wonder why Beyonce never showed up after their procedure, and complain that they thought the dentist would give them breast implants while they were out. But the delusions of those kids seem downright plausible compared to those of Emma, who's featured in the clip below. You see, when Emma emerged from her twilight sleep, she didn't think she would meet a celebrity, she thought she was a celebrity. Hilariously, Emma seems downright pissed when she discovers she's Kylie Jenner and her parents are Kris and Caitlyn. Fortunately for us, her mom has the good sense to play along for a bit. Moments like this don't happen every day. Of course, it's ridiculous that Emma would come out of surgery all frazzled and think that she's Kylie. After all, we're pretty sure going under the knife doesn't faze Kylizzle one bit, if ya know what we mean.
