Kelly Osbourne, ‘Jersey Shore’ stars also weigh in on clip. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Damian Vaca Lady Gaga in “Alejandro” Photo: Interscope Records Fans are calling Lady Gaga’s Steven Klein-directed, fashion-forward clip for “Alejandro” both “brilliant” and “scary.” And celebrities at the Logo NewNowNext Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday night admitted that the video proves that Gaga isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The dark, controversial clip, chock-full of military , religious and Madonna references, will certainly keep people talking. And that’s just fine with Perez Hilton. “Right now we’re at the Logo Awards and Logo is MTV’s sister gay channel and that video speaks to a gay audience explicitly and also it’s her talking and advocating for gays in the military … in a very ‘in your face’ kind of way,” he said, echoing Gaga’s own explanation of the video . Perez also referenced a tweet that fellow pop star Katy Perry reportedly sent about the clip, suggesting she finds it “cheap.” “That’s not cheap to me,” Hilton said. “That’s important. That’s awesome.” Whether or not the video bothered Perry, Kelly Osbourne believes that Lady Gaga is here to make us think. “I think she’s fantastic,” Osbourne said. “She can do no wrong in my eyes. She pushes buttons and that’s what we want!” One reality-TV button-pusher, “The Hills” star Kristin Cavallari, added, “She definitely pushes the envelope and I respect that.” “She’s definitely on the edge. You know what, you gotta be edgy and new in order to get attention these days,” “Jersey Shore” star the Situation explained. “I love people that try new things and that are just on the edge.” The video pushes many boundaries, and his co-star Snooki says that the scenes where she is being sexual with her dancers really speak to her. She said, “This is why I love her! She’s sexual and she doesn’t care!” What did you think of the video? Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Lady Gaga
