Nancy Wilson and Geoff Bywater: Married!

Heart singer Nancy Wilson and Geoff Bywater got married last weekend. The 58-year-old Wilson confirmed the news on her Twitter and Facebook. “Love was in the air … at the El Paseo gourmet restaurant owned by longtime friend Sammy Hagar,” the couple, pictured below, wrote. “Love rules!” The “What About Love” rocker confirmed her engagement in March via Facebook, writing: “There have been some questions about a certain ring on my left hand and yes – it’s an engagement ring. There’s a new love in my life!” “My fiance Geoff Bywater is a senior exec at Fox who handles music for Glee among many other shows. We are deeply in love, the same age, and both devoted parents. There is so much happiness we share together, and our blended families too.” This was Wilson’s second trip down the aisle: she was married to We Bought a Zoo director Cameron Crowe, 54, from 1986-2010. They have two sons. Congrats to the happy newlyweds!

Jennifer Elia: Cheating on Chaz Bono With Heidi Shink?

When Chaz Bono and Jennifer Elia broke up last week, the pair claimed they left their long partnership with “great love, respect and affection toward one another.” That statement belies the tumult between the pair, one report says. According to Star , there’s a sordid secret behind the collapse of this 12-year relationship: Jennifer betrayed Chaz in a major way by cozying up to his ex Heidi Shink. Jennifer was a guest at a private party hosted by Chaz’s ex-girlfriend Heidi Shink at her L.A. home in mid-November, according to alleged insiders. “There was a ton of wine and food,” Viktor Budnik, who attended the party, says in an exclusive interview , adding “They were doing wine pairings.” Wow. That alone sounds super-scandalous right there. Chaz was nowhere to be seen. As the party got increasingly boozy, people started taking intimate photos that Heidi later posted on her Facebook page. One shot of Jennifer and her party guests is captioned “La familia!” In another shot, Jennifer is pictured inappropriately clad in pajamas with wet hair. There you have it. We’re sorry, it’s a slow news week.

Kris Humphries Plays Huge Role in Big Nets Comeback

Fans booed Kris Humphries again last night, but this time the power forward rebounded… and rebounded… and rebounded. In fact, the Nets star enjoyed arguably his best day as a pro, dropping 21 points and 16 boards on the Washington Wizards and helping his team overcome a 20-point second quarter deficit. As you can see in these highlights, Kris showed far more life on the court than on any episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians : Kris Humphries Highlights After the game, Humphries said he uses the crowd’s negative reaction as “motivation,” while Head Coach Avery Johnson told reporters: “I’m trying to figure out, what did he do? I’m serious. Maybe because I don’t follow reality TV, I don’t know all the ins and outs of it, but it’s pretty hilarious to me. I don’t know if they even know why they’re booing him.” Through one game of the 2011-2012 season, Humphries’ impressive stat line reflects more accomplished in 39 minutes of action than Kim Kardashian has accomplished in the last 17 months of her life…

Van Halen: Back Together, Touring in 2012!

Van Halen is back together and going back on the road in 2012. David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen and the rest of the band, including Eddie’s son with Valerie Bertinelli, Wolfgang Van Halen, will be hitting the road early next year. They made the announcement via a two-minute long video trailer stating that Van Halen tickets will go on sale on January 10. Specific dates and venues are TBA. The group also signed a deal with Interscope Records to produce their first studio album with Roth since 1984. Sammy Hagar fronted the band from 1985-1996. See Charlize Theron Hungover in the Poster For Young Adult

Last week during Movieline’s Fall Preview , we repeatedly named Young Adult as one of our most anticipated autumn films. The Jason Reitman/ Diablo Cody collaboration stars Charlize Theron as a teen-lit author who returns to her hometown to reclaim her happily married high school crush (Patrick Wilson). And judging by the movie’s first poster, that hometown mission does not go so well.

Sammy Hagar Abducted By Aliens Awhile Back

Former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar may have had too many tequila shots at his bar in Cabo San Lucas, because dude has officially lost it. Either that or the tests the aliens ran on him are finally taking their toll. Hagar swears that aliens – real, extraterrestrial life forms – abducted him. The location of the abduction? Fontana, California. The date? A few decades ago. “It was real. They plugged into me,” Hagar, who’s promoting his memoir, Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock , tells the L.A. Times . “It was a download situation.” “Or, they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment. They tapped into my brain and the knowledge was transferred back and forth.” Hagar insists the whole thing wasn’t even his first such experience. He says he saw his first UFO at age four, hovering over a field near his home. Sammy insists this is not a joke, BTW: “It happened. That friggin’ happened.” Alien life forms and UFOs …
