Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson: Actually Dating!

UNEXPECTED COUPLE ALERT! UNEXPECTED COUPLE ALERT! A few days after veteran actress Holland Taylor surprised the world by revealing she’s in a same-sex relationship, multiple sources have come out and confirmed that she’s in a same-sex relationship with another veteran actress… … Sarah Paulson! Taylor is 72 years old and Paulson is 40 years old. And, as you can tell by the photos above, they are both women! “It’s the most wonderful, extraordinary thing that could have ever possibly happened in my life,” Holland said earlier this week about her newfound love life on WNYC’s Death, Sex & Money podcast. At the time, the actress refused to discuss her partner’s identity, although she did admit that her love interest is a younger woman and that the pair are talking about marriage. “Given my generation it would not be something that would automatically occur to me,” Taylor explained of gay marriage. “But as a symbol, as a pledge, as a plighting one’s troth, it would be a wonderful thing to do.” Taylor is best known for her long-running role as Evelyn Harper on Two and a Half Men, while Paulson has dazzled us over the years on various versions of American Horror Story . We send this new, VERY unexpected couple nothing but our best wishes! View Slideshow: 29 Bisexual Celebrities

‘American Horror Story’ Season Two Is In ‘A Different World’

Creator Ryan Murphy reveals the new season will take place at an East Coast mental institution. By Jocelyn Vena Dylan McDermott in “American Horror Story” Photo: FX New place, new time, new characters. That’s what fans already know about the second season of “American Horror Story,” but now creator Ryan Murphy is dishing even more details. Speaking at a TV Academy panel Wednesday (April 19), Murphy confirmed that the second season in the series will, in fact, take place at a mental institution on the East Coast, as had been rumored. That institution will be run by season-one fan favorite Jessica Lange, who will return as a spankin’-new character. According to Murphy, that locale was teased by Sarah Paulson’s medium character in the first season. “Something that Sarah Paulson’s character, Billie Dean, says to Jessica and Taisa as she’s sage-ing the house [during the ‘Birth’ episode] and talking about places where evil collects: We talk about institutions and prisons and things like that,” Murphy said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “That was the clue.” Paulson is also set to return to the show, playing someone new, as well as Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe. While season one was set in the present, Murphy hinted that season two will take place in another time. “It’s a completely different world and has nothing to do with season one; there’s not a mention of season one,” he noted at the event, where he was joined by past castmates Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, Alexandra Breckenridge and Denis O’Hare, most of whom met tragic fates in season one. But he added that some of those actors may also return in some form. In addition to some old faces, Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine has been added to the cast, playing one-half of “The Lovers.” French actress Lizzie Brochere has also joined the cast, potentially playing a nemesis to Lange’s character. The new season will kick off later this year on FX. What are you expecting from season two of “American Horror Story”? Share your theories in the comments!

Mitt Romney Wins Decisive Victory In Illinois Primary

Romney beat Rick Santorum by double digits in Tuesday’s primary. By Gil Kaufman Mitt Romney at his Illinois primary night party Photo: AFP Mitt Romney strung together two solid victories in a row on Tuesday night when he pulled off a decisive win in the Illinois presidential primary, the latest in a series of “must-win” contests in the GOP race to the White House. The former Massachusetts Governor is likely to pull in at least 41 of the 54 delegates at stake following his win over rival Rick Santorum, who he beat by a 47 to 35 percent margin. The other two candidates in the race, Texas congressman Ron Paul and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich hardly campaigned in the state and came in a distant third and fourth, with, respectively, 9 and 8 percent of the vote. “We thank the people of Illinois for this extraordinary victory,” Romney said to supporters gathered in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg, according to CNN. “Elections are about choices. Today, hundreds of thousands of people in Illinois joined millions of people in this country in this cause.” If he gets 41 delegates, Romney’s total to date is 562, which puts him halfway toward the goal of 1,144 needed to clinch the GOP nomination. Once again, he turned his attention away from his fellow candidates an onto President Obama in his victory speech, saying, “It’s time to say this word: enough. We’ve had enough … We know our future’s brighter than these troubled times. We still believe in America, and we deserve a president who believes in us, and I believe in the American people.” Romney was feeling bullish after his huge victory in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico on Saturday, where he took more than 83 percent of the vote and likely all 20 delegates. Pundits said he needed a solid victory in Obama’s former home state in order to tamp down the growing buzz about the potential for a contested GOP convention in August should he fail to get enough delegates to close the deal before then. Though he had a rough week — which included gaffes in P.R. in which he said the nation needs to adopt English as its official language to gain statehood and a remark on Monday in which he claimed the unemployment rate “doesn’t matter to me” — Santorum was still defiant after his Illinois loss. “This is an election about fundamental and foundational things,” the former Pennsylvania Senator said during a gathering in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. “This is an election about not who’s the best person to manage Washington or manage the economy. We don’t need a manager, we need someone who’s going to pull government up by the roots and do something to liberate the private sector in America.” The race now moves on to Louisiana on Saturday, where, once again, Romney will attempt to prove that he can appeal to the party’s conservative base and that he can win in the South. REVIEW: New Year’s Eve is the Movie Equivalent of a Plastic-Wrapped American Cheese Slice

Who are these beautiful, sharply dressed, slightly orange people gliding so effortlessly through a glittery, postcard-worthy version of New York in New Year’s Eve ? They’re stars, of course, a galaxy of stars of varying luminescence. New Year’s Eve is Garry Marshall’s follow-up to last year’s Valentine’s Day , which he also directed, and like that film it uses its titular holiday as a ruthless star delivery system in which a menagerie of assembled celebs sprints through a collection of interconnected narrative threads that briskly accelerate from alleged comedy to syrupy sentimentality.
