Scott Disick Accused Of Posting Racist Photo With Daughter Penelope Disick Scott Disick posted a photo this week that has some people calling him a racist. The pic features Scott and his daughter Penelope dining at a restaurant and as the proud dad poses , he’s holding chop sticks and his daughter is pulling her eyes upward. While some felt it was definitely racism rearing it’s ugly head (“Teach her not to do the Chinese eye thing at a sushi restaurant. Don’t teach her to be a racist,” one person commented), others said she’s just a kid making whatever silly face she could think of at the time. Scott seemed like he couldn’t care less what anyone thought, posting the follow-up pic below while not addressing the controversy. “Living my best life,” he wrote. If you had told us that at some point in 2019, there would be controversy involving a photo of Scott Disick and a very young female , our response would have been something along the lines of “no doi!” But we woudn’t have guessed the female would be his daughter, and we certainly never would have predicted the scandal would be racial in nature: On Thursday morning, Scott posted the above photo of himself and his daughter Penelope at what appears to be an Asian-style restaurant. As you can see, Penelope looks to be pulling on her eyelids in such a way as to mock facial features that are often associated with Asian people. Not surprisingly, the backlash from fans was swift and harsh. “I’m Asian and that was racist,” commented one angry follower . “She must have seen someone do it to think it’s okay,” wrote another. “Teach her not to do the Chinese eye thing at a sushi restaurant. Don’t teach her to be a racist. Cause that’s what’s gonna happen,” a third pointed out. A surprising number of commenters were quick to come to Scott’s defense: “She is a little f**king girl making a goofy face in a picture with her dad,” wrote one such fan. “What race of people even have eyes like that???? Seriously get a life, it’s a child who wouldn’t even know what racism is,” commented another. “She is a child. She doesn’t know better and she is lifting her eyes. In fact, one could argue that childhood is simply a succession of increasingly less dumb sh-t, which leads to adulthood, a time in which you endeavor to do less dumb sh-t, because now there’s an increased that it will cost you money. Racism is something far too nefarious and harmful to fall under the relatively innocuous heading of “dumb sh-t,” but when the perpetrator is 6 years old, the problem is almost certainly that they’re being ignorant in the classical sense, and now willfully malicious. The question is, why — instead of correcting his daughter on why that’s not the sort of gesture she should be making under any circumstances but particularly in public — did Scott instead choose to post this image for his 21 million Instagram followers. And why does he have yet to take it down or offer an apology? Scott’s daughter engaged in some very foolish behavior here, it’s true. But it’s Scott who really failed by both failing to take advantage of a teachable moment, and by putting this deeply problematic image out there for all the world to see. It may be a new year, but Kourtney Kardashian is trying hard to maintain her old figure. The mother of three simply can’t afford to let herself go, not when she’s 39 and Sofia Richie is 20 and Kourtney has to compete with her ex-boyfriend’s lover on a near-daily basis. Not literally, of course. As far as we know, Kourtney isn’t trying to actually win Scott Disick back over or anything. She doesn’t want to be back together with her hard-partying and generally annoying ex. But it’s only natural for Kardashian to still feel a sense of competition with Richie, especially considering how they’re spending a decent amount of time together these days. ( Scott, Sofia and Kourtney all spent Christmas in Colorado together, for example.) Along those lines, an insider tells Hollywood Life that Kourtney puts a lot of pressure on her appearance any time she’s around Disick and Richie. “Kourtney does her best to look hot whenever she spends time with both Scott and Kourtney, which has been a lot lately,” alleges this anonymous source, adding: “Kourt works really hard to always look fit, glammed-up and cute, especially when she knows Sofia will be around.” This much is evident by the photo above, which was snapped during Kourtney’s aforementioned trip to Aspen… … and which features the reality star not exactly dressed in typical ski attire. For the record, though, Kourtney and Sofia are getting along pretty well these days. They’ll never be best friends, but they aren’t enemies, either, which is important when Richie will be hanging out so often with Kourtney’s three kids. “Kourtney is doing her best to be sweet, kind and accepting with Scott’s girlfriend, but she still fights back feeling awkward when watching romantic PDA between Scott and Sofia,” Hollywood Life writes. This is natural and understandable, of course. Even if Kourtney has no interest in getting boned by Disick ever again. “When Scott holds Sofia’s hand, or kisses her in public, it still stings Kourt,” this totally real insider explains . “But Kourtney is determined to not let it show that it bothers her at all. “Instead Kourt is determined to always look as sexy as possible around Sofia and rise above any feelings of jealousy.” No one thought this would be an issue, of course. Richie was believed to just be a fling for Disick when the two got together well over a year ago — but here we are. She and Lord Douche are somehow still going strong, forcing Kourtney to accept the romance and to salvage some sort of peaceful arrangement between all parties. Against all odds, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have been dating for over a year now. While the age gap remains more than a little creepy (Scott is 35; Sofia is 20), most folks in the couple’s inner circle have grown accustomed to the romance. But apparently, that’s not the case with Kourtney Kardashian. Scott and Sofia recently traveled to Saudi Arabia, and as they usually do when they travel to exotic locales, they posed for a number of model-y looking photos. And apparently, Kourtney was left deeply upset by the pics. “Kourtney is not happy about Sofia’s latest pics with Scott in the middle east,” a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life. Apparently, Kourt is just like the rest of us, in that she assumed Scott and Sofia’s romance would amount to a meaningless fling. “She is surprised and shocked things between Scott and Sofia have lasted this long,” the insider says. “It still stings Kourtney to see Scott looking happy with another woman — it’s something she doesn’t think she will ever get used to.” Apparently, she sees these most recent photos as the latest salvos in an ongoing war. Last month, Kourtney posed for pics that seemed designed to make Sofia jealous by hinting that Kourt is still sleeping with Scott. The mother of three now views Sofia’s every social media post as an act of revenge. “She fights feelings of jealousy too and feels like she’s in a small, silly social media war with Sofia, posting pics back and forth with Scott,” the source claims. It seems Kourtney finds herself in a position that’s familiar to many social media users. She doesn’t want to torment herself by looking at Sofia’s page — but she also can’t seem to help herself. “Kourtney has also been trying to resist spying on Sofia’s social media,” the source claims. “She does not want to see what Sofia and Scott are up too, but Kourtney feels it is impossible to resist peeking on Sofia’s page.” But while she’s unable to resist looking at Sofia’s pics, she has been able to stick to certain boundaries: “Kourtney refuses to watch Sofia’s IG stories, that is where she draws the line,” says the source. “She fears Sofia will notice she is watching and Kourtney does not want to give her that satisfaction.” Let that be a lesson to you young folk out there — if you’re gonna stalk it’s important to take the proper precautions in order to ensure your victim isn’t aware of your desperation. Source: Gary Miller / Getty Travis Scott Gets His Own Day In His Hometown Of Houston All of Travis Scott’s efforts for his hometown have been appreciated, and now he’s getting some love back from the city that raised him. The city of Houston, Texas has named November 18 “Astroworld Day” in honor of the rapper. Named after his highly-anticipated album Astroworld , the city’s Mayor Sylvester Turner announced the honor following Scott’s inaugural Astroworld Festival, which brought 40,000 of Scott’s fans to Houston. Travis accepted the proclamation recognizing him as an ambassador for the arts, education, and youth initiatives at Houston’s city hall. During his acceptance speech, Scott said that the inspiration behind the festival and LP was Six Flag’s now-closed Astroworld in Houston. He said in his acceptance speech, “I grew up here my whole life. I was inspired by Astroworld. In ’05 when they took it away, it kind of like took a big piece of my heart away. I didn’t have anywhere to go. I just wanted to kind of bring back that feeling and give this city something so they can always have something fun to do.” Congrats to Travis on being honored by Houston in such a big way!

After ten years on top, the Kardashians are as popular — and as profitable — as ever. Kylie is nearly a billionaire ; Kendall is one of the world's most famous models, and the rest of the sisters remain constant subjects of fascination in tabloids and on social media. Of course, that leaves Rob … who's not having such an easy time these days. In fact, Rob says he can't afford to pay child support to his baby mama, Blac Chyna As you may have guessed, Chyna's not interested in hearing his excuses. Take a look: 1. Better Days Blac and Rob’s relationship was very brief and very volatile. But because it resulted in the birth of daughter Dream Kardashian, these two are bonded for life. 2. Bitter Breakup Rob and Blac parted ways in ugly fashion. There were allegations of assault and infidelity, and Rob even posted intimate photos as “revenge porn.” 3. Living the Dream But something beautiful came out of all that ugliness. Rob became a dad, and Blac became a mother of two when little Dream entered the world in 2016. 4. The Settlement It was initially agreed that Rob would pay Dream $20,000 per month for child support — chump change in the Kardashians’ world. 5. Rob Claps Back Of course, we suppose it was only a matter of time before Rob’s lawyers petitioned to “modify” that agreement. 6. Even though Sofia Richie, Scott Disick, and Kourtney Kardashian met for what must have been a very awkward dinner last week, Sofia has lingering concerns. Her much older boyfriend shares three kids and years of memories with Kourt. According to a report, Sofia can’t shake the feeling that he’s dumb enough to step out on her and is boinking his ex. According to a report by Heat magazine, Sofia is haunted by the suspicion that Scott is cheating on her with Kourtney. “Sofia puts on a brave face in public,” an insider claims. “But,” the source says. “She seems jealous as hell about Scott and Kourtney recently.” Recently , huh? It sounds like either the honeymoon phase of her romance with Scott is over … or Sofia fears that it is. The insider reports: “People are worried that she’s losing her grip on the situation.” Part of that situation involves Sofia’s feelings and her reactions. Per the report, Sofia recently saw Scott texting Kourtney “right in front of her” and “she hit the roof.” Obviously, he shares three kids with her; texting her is normal. Even so, it can be hard to see the one you loved in contact with their ex. “[Sofia] heavily suspects that Scott and Kourt have been sleeping together,” the source says. “And,” the insider continues. “While she’s able to put it out of her mind most of the time, sometimes it just consumes her.” Apparently Sofia even mustered the resolve to bring it up with Scott. “Sofia confronted him about the situation,” the source claims. “But,” the insider continues. “He fobbed her off and just rolled his eyes.” That sounds rude. Even an absurd accusation still comes from a place of real emotion. “He really takes her for granted,” the source characterizes. “And, the insider claims, Scott “gets upset when she tries to stick up for herself.” Yikes. Apparently, Scott’s expectations are starting to bother even his lovestruck girlfriend. “Sofia’s starting to open her eyes more about how unreasonable Scott is,” the source reports. Fans shouldn’t expect her to cut her losses any time soon, however. “But ultimately,” the insider laments. “She’s still under his spell.” One wonders how long that — or their relationship — will last. First of all, it is pretty clear that this inside source is decidedly in favor of Sofia parting ways with Scott. For that reason alone, we should take this report with a grain of salt. (Also, sometimes, reports are just wrong — that’s how life is. If we find one that we’re sure is accurate, we’ll tell you) But based upon this report, it looks like the truth of the matter falls into one of three categories. One, maybe Scott really is stepping out on Sofia with Kourtney. If so, that’s not fair to Sofia or even the Kourtney. He should .. not do that. Two, maybe Scott is being one-hundred-percent faithful to Sofia and she’s just imagining things and getting worked up over nothing. If so, that’s more or less what Scott should have expected when he started seriously dating a teen. (She’s twenty, now, but she’s still very young, and her emotions may still be overpowering and raw) Then there’s door number three. What if Sofia suspects that Scott is cheating and she’s right, but she’s totally missed the mark on it being with Kourtney? Gosh, that sounds like a nightmare for her.
