During the conversation, she made mention that she is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was met with a resounding round of “skee-wee’s”. Chelsea Janes (guess the race), a national reporter for the Washington Post was on-hand to cover the event and was utter confused by the sound of pink and green, she tweeted (and subsequently deleted, but we’ll get to why in a minute): Members of her Howard sorority are in the room and screeched when she mentioned her time there. Did not expect to hear screeches here. Chelsea was completely oblivious to the signal of the AKA’s and her ignorance sparked an annoyed backlash on Twitter. One such annoyed party is SiriusXM Senior Director of Progressive Programming and MSNBC regular Zerlina Maxwell. She rightfully and incredulously asked why white reporters are allowed to consistently lack knowledge of Black culture. Kamala is running for POTUS (probably). She's an AKA. The fact that the white reporter sent to cover her didn't know what Skee Wee was is not a good sign that the media is going to cover her with the cultural competency required. The RHOA stars are going at it after Shamari and her hubby Ronnie Devoe appeared on “The Breakfast Club” this morning and spoke on a number of topics including their marriage that was once open, a concept Shamari called “cool for the moment” but not anymore. Things got especially interesting however when DJ Envy asked Shamari about Marlo Hampton who she got into a nasty shade fest with this week after she noted that she has a peach but “shady” Marlo doesn’t. According to Shamari Marlo’s jealous of her and wants what she has; a man, children and a permanent place on RHOA. “She’s known for engaging in arguments with the cast for attention—I guess now it’s my turn. I called her MarHo, she boosts her bootleg fashions and scams people, sleeps with old men, she’s trying to come for me for my fashions. Just because I don’t wear the Fendis and the Louboutins, I dress how I want to dress, the whole season she’s coming after me and I really think it’s because I have something she wants. To make matters worse, Wallace was a K-9 handler! You’d think he would be more compassionate to animals right? According to NY Post reports: The footage was captured when Wallace responded to a call about an aggressive dog at an apartment complex in Conway, AR, Fox 16 reported. It shows the deputy speaking with a homeowner while two small dogs run around the yard, but when Reeses starts barking, Wallace shoots the dog. The yelping from the animal is really heart-wrenching. A GoFundMe page was created to help cover her medical costs which give a more detailed description of the events leading to her injury. The page had raised 14,698 of a $15,500 goal as of our reporting. Wallace has been terminated from his position according to a post on the department’s Facebook page: “I was notified Friday of an incident involving Deputy Keenan Wallace. Deputy Wallace fired his service weapon that injured an animal while in close proximity to a citizen. I believe there were numerous opportunities to de-escalate the incident, “ reads a statement from Tim Ryals on the County Sheriff’s Facebook page announcing Wallace’s termination. “Our Department is saddened about this incident and apologizes for any distress and disappointment this incident has caused anyone who was affected by this disheartening event. We will keep Reeses in our thoughts through the recovery process,” continues the post. Prosecutors are reviewing the incident to determine whether criminal charges will be filed or not, Ryals said. The newest housewife was a guest on “ Watch What Happens Live” Sunday and was once again asked to respond to shady comments from fans and her co-stars about her wardrobe. Cynthia Bailey previously said her clothes looked “dated” and Porsha Williams hinted that she should get a stylist. ‘ “I just could not believe that everybody was going after my fashions,” said Shamari. I’ve never been the girl to go after labels or follow trends and just for Marlo to come after me like that—I was just fed up.” She also sent some shade Marlo Hampton’s way after that big blowup they had about that makeover Marlo forced on her. They made their introduction on the reality show and viewers didn’t warm up to their personalities at all! The issue was that Shamari and Ronnie are everything but humble when it comes to their accomplishments. So conceited, Shamaria and Ronnie showed themselves recording a “Jay-Z and Beyonce” style album. Shamari also told everyone that her group Blaque is on the same level as Xscape, and then Ronnie handed out some unsolicited performance advice to Kandi — the woman who BOOKED him and his buddies to open for her group on tour this year! Ronnie had one word of advice for Kandi, “placement.” Look at the “placement” of everyone’s body language in the clip, they are over him!
