Welcome Back, Budden! Joe Budden And Cyn Santana Are Returning To ‘Love & Hip Hop NY’

Credit – Shareif Ziyadat Joe Budden And Cyn Santana Rejoin Cast Of Love & Hip Hop A lot has changed since Joe Budden and Cyn Santana were cast members on Love & Hip Hop: NY four years ago. For one, Joe was juggling the affections of Tahiry José and Kaylin Garcia, battling a drug addiction, and had made a proposal to Tahiry which was turned down. Meanwhile, Cyn was in a tumultuous lesbian relationship with Erica Mena , and had began a budding flirtationship with Cicsco Rosado. However, the two found love with one another once the cameras stopped rolling and now share a home and an adorable baby son named Lexington Budden. Now, with newfound success as a hip-hop culture commentator, Joe returns with his lady Cyn to the cast of the hit reality show. According to Variety , Joe and Cyn will rejoin the cast starting at its November 26 return. They’ll be appearing alongside newcomer Maino, and return castmembers Remy Ma and Papoose, Safaree, Kimbella and Juelz Santana, Yandy, Rich Dollaz and Juju among others. We all know that these shows have 10+ other side characters, so the rest of this season’s lineup remains to be named at this moment. No word yet what Cyn and Joe’s storyline will entail, but we’re guessing they’ll be another “go to them for advice” couple like Remy and Pappoose and some light conflicts with other castmates as they come along — or at least we hope it stays light. Are you excited to have Budden and his bae back on the show? What do you think they’ll get into this season? Thaddaeus McAdams/Getty Images/Shareif Ziyadat

Rihanna Focused On Career, Not Men

‘It can definitely be intimidating to guys to date someone in this industry,’ singer tells Cosmopolitan U.K. By Jocelyn Vena Rihanna Photo: Shareif Ziyadat/ FilmMagic Rihanna is like an open book when it comes to her views on the opposite sex. In the new issue of Cosmopolitan U.K., the pop star says that these days she’s all about the chase, mostly because she doesn’t have time for much else. “I’m open to love. But guys should have to earn it. Because the minute they get it, they want something else,” Rihanna said . “Men are like hunters: they like the chase. So you have to keep ’em guessing. Actually, I’m like that too. I get bored quickly. So if someone can make me laugh, that’s the best.” Currently on a summer tour, Rihanna says that most guys have a hard time wrapping their head around the fact that she’s a very busy person with a very bustling career. ” It can definitely be intimidating to guys to date someone in this industry,” she said. “It’s really hard to find a guy who doesn’t care about that stuff. Right now, it’s easier just having my career to focus on.” After a string of high-profile relationships with Chris Brown, Matt Kemp and maybe even Drake , the singer is currently single. Rihanna’s relationship with Brown left her in a very vulnerable place after an assault in early 2009. “It was a very aggressive and defensive time, and that allowed me to start not giving a sh–. I walked around with a very f— you attitude,” Rihanna said in the issue. “I’ve always been good at masking my emotions. For me, it’s tougher to be vulnerable than to be tough.” Related Artists Rihanna

T.I. ‘Sick And Tired’ Of Being In And Out Of Prison

‘This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before,’ rapper says in new prison-penned letter. By Mawuse Ziegbe T.I. Photo: Shareif Ziyadat/ FilmMagic T.I.’s latest prison bid is apparently changing the MC’s perspective on getting locked up. Tip was hauled back to jail earlier this month to kick off his second stint behind bars in a year after he violated his probation by getting arrested on a drug charge in Los Angeles in September. In a message posted on the Atlanta spitter’s website Thursday (November 18), the trap star, who has a litany of arrests and periods of incarceration that pre-date his chart-busting hip-hop career, described his current prison bid as a turning point in his history with the penal system. “This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that’s saying a lot for a n—a who’s been down locked up as many times as I have,” Tip wrote. “I see this as a real ass whoopin’. The kind you don’t just go back outside to play afterwards. You take ya ass to bed and don’t come out of your room until it’s time to go to school.” T.I. also said that switching between life as a free man and an inmate was getting old. “I don’t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I’m certainly sick and mother f—ing tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it,” he said. “I’d have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life.” Even though his legal run-ins have “been a long road,” T.I. maintained that “I’m still standing, barely, but nevertheless still standing.” He also said that instead of looking to others for inspiration and encouragement, he’s going to turn inward for a sense of purpose. “At one time I thought my motivation for continuing was for my fans, my partna Philant, my pops, my grandmama, even for the haters or the people I let down. But nah… I got to do this sh– for me!!!” he said. “I’ll be God damned if I’ve come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this! F— that! If an hour in the dark is worth a second in the sun then pass me my mother—-in’ shades cause I’m ready to cash my darkest hours in…ASAP!!!” The MC reflected on his lack of a consistent and positive father figure in his life as a factor in his development as a young man, saying, “My mother and grandparents did the best they could but I found my manhood in the trap and in prison systems.” The “Get Back Up” MC then promised that his children won’t follow in his footsteps as a felon. “[None] of mine will ever have to feel the cold tight grip of a handcuff or grace the presence of a jail cell if I can help it,” he wrote. “Over my dead body! So if you can’t respect that you ain’t rocking with my movement, then f— you dog!” T.I.’s album No Mercy is slated to hit shelves December 7. What do you think about T.I.’s latest letter? Let us know in the comments. Related Photos T.I.’s Career Highs And Lows Related Artists T.I.
