Khloe Kardashian To Throw Celebrity Birthday Party For Lamar Odom At Los Angeles Hospital Today THIS won’t be awkward at all… According to PEOPLE , Lamar Odom’s legal spouse, Khloe Kardashian is planning a birthday party for her hospitalized husband today at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Odom turns 36 years old today, and after nearly losing him at age 35, Khloe feels that it’s only right that Lamar’s loved ones come to the hospital to lift his spirits. Kardashian, 31, reached out to Odom’s former teammates as well as two of his best friends that are not NBA players, the source says. Though the Los Angeles Lakers are on a road trip, Kobe Bryant will send a gift and connect with his former teammate via FaceTime, and Lakers player Ron Artest will also try to phone in via video chat. A few Los Angeles Clippers players will try to come by the hospital after their practice, and Kardashian arranged for Odom’s NBA trainer of 15 years to come as well. The party is set to take place not in Odom’s hospital room but in a separate private room. Kardashian has arranged for a cake, balloons and party hats. “It’s something very small and very short but will make him feel amazing,” the source says. “Then Khloé will be with him for the rest of the day.” The source adds that only a select amount of people can attend, and Kardashian had the get-together approved by his doctors. “It’s just a very small group of people because Lamar cannot handle too much stimulus, but the doctors are allowing a small group for a short time on his birthday,” the source says. We totally understand Khloe’s desire to cheer Lamar up, but we also can see how off-putting it might be for some to celebrate and be joyous while a man they love is in such dire straits. The writing was on the wall Joan Rivers Pronounced Dead At Mt Sinai Hospital Via Variety Raunchy, gravelly-voiced and self-deprecating comedian Joan Rivers, who rose from Greenwich Village standup to occasional host of “The Tonight Show” and star of TV’s “Fashion Police,” died Thursday after going into cardiac arrest during a medical procedure on Sept. 3. She was 81. “She passed peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends,” her daughter, Melissa, said in a statement. “My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.” Rivers had been admitted to New York’s Mt. Sinai hospital after she stopped breathing during a procedure on her vocal cords at a New York Clinic, and was placed in a medically-induced coma to assess her condition. A petite blonde firebrand, the always-wry Rivers, known for the catchphrase “Can we talk?,” was a pioneering confessional female comic, lampooning her personal life (her parents, her marriage, her plastic surgery) on TV and in clubs for more than five decades. Whatever the gig — permanent replacement host on “The Tonight Show,” co-host of “Fashion Police,” her own varied syndicated talkshows, Vegas engagements, bestselling nonfiction books, often biting commentator on awards’ show arrivals along with daughter Melissa and even QVC saleswoman — the petite, feisty Rivers was never far out of the spotlight. Her biting comedy, ability to ad-lib effortlessly in any situation and sheer moxie endeared her to generations of television viewers. She was the ultimate yenta, the quintessential kibbitzer — a talent exemplified in her scathing commentary on E!’s “Fashion Police.” Rivers started co-hosting the show in 2010 along with Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos. Conservative CPAC Member Defends Slavery And Recommends Segregation The GOP goon s quad is at it again…. via Think Progress A panel at the Conservative Political Action Committee on Republican minority outreach exploded into controversy on Friday afternoon, after an audience member defended slavery as good for African-Americans. The exchange occurred after an audience member from North Carolina, 30-year-old Scott Terry, asked whether Republicans could endorse races remaining separate but equal. After the presenter, K. Carl Smith of Frederick Douglass Republicans, answered by referencing a letter by Frederick Douglass forgiving his former master, the audience member said “For what? For feeding him and housing him?” After the exchange, Terry muttered under his breath, “why can’t we just have segregation?” noting the Constitution’s protections for freedom of association. Watch it: ThinkProgress spoke with Terry, who sported a Rick Santorum sticker and attended CPAC with a friend who wore a Confederate Flag-emblazoned t-shirt, about his views after the panel. Terry maintained that white people have been “systematically disenfranchised” by federal legislation. B-b-b-uut wait, it gets worse. This babbling bigot also gave life to the idea of black people being inferior to white people and women ‘staying in their place’ in front of men. When asked by ThinkProgress if he’d accept a society where African-Americans were permanently subservient to whites, he said “I’d be fine with that.” He also claimed that African-Americans “should be allowed to vote in Africa,” and that “all the Tea Parties” were concerned with the same racial problems that he was. At one point, a woman challenged him on the Republican Party’s roots, to which Terry responded, “I didn’t know the legacy of the Republican Party included women correcting men in public.” Is this fool serious?? SMMFH.

You cannot be fawking serious … Lil Wayne Hospitalized Again After Sizzurp Binge And Seizures UPDATE: Lil Wayne Tweets?! Around 7:30pm EST it was reported that Lil Wayne had been hospitalized for another seizure, was in a coma, and damn near on his death bed. It is now reported by YMCMB that Wayne is alive and well. This is the most confusing near-death EVER! According to TMZ reports : Lil Wayne is in ICU in critical condition after suffering yet another seizure, and we’re told it doesn’t look good … TMZ has learned. We broke the story … the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious. Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize. He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably. We’re told Wayne is currently “unstable,” and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes. We’re told several people are at Wayne’s bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably. Sources say there’s evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system. We’re told Wanye’s stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his system. Our prayers are with Wayne and his friend, family, and fans. That said, if he’s blessed enough to make it though this, somebody has GOT to get a hold of him! We better not see ONE member of YMCMB with a dumb-a$$ double cup in their hand ever again! Notorious B.I.G. Autopsy Report: Released in Graphic Detail

The Notorious B.I.G. (real name Christopher Wallace) sustained four gunshot wounds the night he was murdered in L.A. back in 1997, according to a just-released autopsy report. Wallace, who was listed at 6’1″ and 395 lbs., was struck a total of four times in a drive-by shooting by a still-unknown assailant on Los Angeles’ Wilshire Blvd. He was only 24. As he sat in the passenger seat of a Chevy Suburban, Biggie was ambushed by bullets from the car alongside him. The first three, it turns out, were not fatal: Struck Wallace in the left forearm and traveled down to his wrist. Struck Wallace in the back, missed all vital organs, and exited through his left shoulder. Struck Wallace on his outer left thigh and exited through his inner left thigh. After the third bullet exited the thigh, the autopsy report states that “the projectile strikes the left side of the scrotum, causing a very shallow, 3/8 inch linear laceration.” The fatal bullet the fourth and final gunshot. That entered Wallace’s body through his right hip and tore its way through several of his vital organs before finally coming to rest in his left shoulder area. The bullet perforated Wallace’s colon, liver, heart and left lung. Immediately after the shooting, the Notorious B.I.G. was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where doctors performed an emergency thoracotomy to no avail. Wallace was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. All four gunshots traveled through the Suburban passenger door before striking Wallace; two were found on the gurney that transported him to the hospital. Another bullet was discovered at the hospital when the body of the deceased rapper was turned over after doctors had tried and failed to save him. The coroner listed Wallace as “morbidly obese.” A toxicology test revealed Wallace had no traces of drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of his death; Wallace’s body was later ID’d by his mother and wife. The autopsy report also lists one interesting, handwritten note under the section “Other Pertinent Information”, reading: “Decedent may be rap singer.”

We really, really hope this situation does not go from bad to worse… According to TMZ reports : Whitney Houston’s 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was just rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles … and it’s her second trip to the hospital since her mother passed away last night … TMZ has learned. According to our sources … Bobbi was taken out of the Beverly Hilton on a stretcher (see photo above). It’s the same hotel where Whitney was found dead. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ police and fire responded to a call for a medical emergency, but would not confirm who was transported. According to our sources, Bobbi Kristina went to the hospital last night as well, but was not transported via ambulance. We’re told she was “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable.” As TMZ first reported, Bobbi Kristina got into an angry shouting match last night with police officers outside the hotel room where her mother was found dead.
