It appears Gavin Rossdale has no understanding of the idiom, “You’ve made your bed, now lie in it.” Because even though he destroyed his marriage to Gwen Stefani by schtupping their nanny, he’s pouting about her relationship with Blake Shelton.  “If it were up to Gavin he would want to work it out with Gwen,” an insider told E! News. “He is still hurt it has turned out this way and now she is in love with another man.” That karma. It is a bitch. Shelton and Stefani, of course, flaunt their relationship any chance they get, tweeting sweet nothings to each other like a couple of teenagers. And get a load of their smoldering looks during this performance on The Voice . Additionally, Stefani has posted numerous photos of herself and her kids spending time with Shelton, and Rossdale isn’t having it. Earlier this week, we learned that Stefani and Rossdale, who share joint custody of their three children, held a secret meeting to discuss family matters. Rossdale is apparently peeved that his sons have already bonded with Shelton and is afraid the country crooner might try to replace him as a father figure. “[Gavin] wants to be consulted on everything concerning the kids and the role that Blake is playing in their lives,” a source told Us Weekly .   Sorry not sorry for not feeling sorry for you, Gavin. Vampire Eyes, Wolf Steel: See the First Images from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2

There’s nothing terribly sensational here to get excited about in the first two official stills from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 , except for — ZOMG! — a certain pair of blood-red vampire eyes staring out at us amidst the smoldering looks and pale prettiness on display. And the almost surreal perfection of Robert Pattinson , Kristen Stewart , and Taylor Lautner ‘s complexions. Fun fact: Twilight ‘s vampires not only sparkle in the sunlight, they never have to blink. Hit the jump for images! For those who haven’t been caught up to speed on where we’re at by the time Breaking Dawn – Part 2 rolls around: The last time we saw Bella (Stewart) she was dying a horrible death while giving birth to her half-vampire spawn when her undead hubby, Edward (Pattinson) saved her by turning her into a vampire. Hence the blood-red eyes — the mark of a newborn vampire. Breaking Dawn – Part 2 brings the whole saga to a close as Vampire Bella embraces and adjusts to her newfound vampire-ness, which is a pretty awesome deal — super strength and speed, even more flawless skin, no need to worry about being ripped to shreds along with the pillows during sexytime… and, Twilight Fun Fact #2: Vampires don’t cry. The intricacies of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire physiology make it so that vampires pretty much have no use for tears. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and say that’s a metaphor for Bella’s newfound strength and self-confidence after spending so many movies unsure of herself and weeping over her star-crossed romance. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 hits November 16.

Oklahoma Wildfires

Hello all, So this isn’t entirely related to sustainable business, but I thought people might be interested. Oklahoma recently endured a rash of wildfires that burned a good deal of the state. Some of you may know that my parents own ten acres, and they are currently in the process of building a house/art studio on their property. There is no crew building this house, it’s just my parents, my fiance Jason, myself and my brother and sister. We’ve been putting in weekends consistently since last June. Building the foundation in 110 degree Oklahoma heat nearly killed us. So last Friday when I was called early in the a.m. and told that wildfires were in the region of my parents house, panic was my first thought. Jason and I dressed and ran out to the property. The damage was shocking, and the fact that it came very close to my parents house on all four sides was nothing short of a miracle. It did burn their water line though, so Jason and I stood on guard with shovels and buckets of sand putting out anything that flamed up and watching the smoldering ashes of their property while they went to town to get a new one.
