Anyway, rocket tag is one of the many, many reasons to be excited about Ruffian Games’ explosive sequel Crackdown 2 . X-Play’s Morgan Webb caught up with the game’s creative director Billy Thomson during PAX East 2010 to find out more about Crackdown 2 ’s delicious rocket-fueled mode. “There’s a yellow orb that’s created within the game world. One person can pick it up at a time. The longer you control the yellow orb, the more points you get…If anybody can hit you with a rocket, you’ll drop the orb, somebody else picks it up, and it just rotates like that…It’s just constant explosions.
