Kristoff St. John Cause of Death: Revealed, Tragic

We have an important update on the sad death of Kristoff St. John. Over a month since the shocking loss of this soap opera star, the coroner’s office has released its official autopsy results, alerting the public to the reason St. John passed away back on February 3. This coroner’s report has listed the cause of death as “hypertrophic heart disease” with “effects of ethanol” cited as another significant condition. The document also deems the death accidental and says other conditions contributing , but not related to the immediate cause of death, included myocardial bridging of the left anterior descending coronary artery and the effects of ethanol. The 52-year-old – best known for his long-running role on The Young and the Restless – was found dead in his home in the neighborhood of Woodland Hills about six years ago. It was believed at the time that an excess of alcohol consumption had played a role in this tragedy… but the cause of his death was deferred by the Los Angeles County Coroner until an ” additional investigation ” was finished. St. John’s passing came more than four years after his son, Julian, died by suicide following treatment for mental health issues. In November of 2017, meanwhile, St. John opened up about his own mental health struggles after being hospitalized and undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. “To all of mi [sic] IG peeps. Thanks for throwing out a life preserver,” he wrote on Instagram about a year and a half ago, adding: “Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel to have so much love that you bathe me in…anoint me with…cloak me with. I am humbled.” He added: “Life is precious. I look forward to continuing this journey together with all of you…us. Because at the end of the day, at the magic hour, we are warmed with an all knowing presence of light and love. My heart beats to the music of our creation. “You are an integral piece of my personal spiritual puzzle, as I hope I am to yours. I love you…forever.” According to these newly-unveiled autopsy papers, Kristoff was admitted to Las Encinas Mental Health Hospital in Pasadena on January 26, 2019 for “threatening to hurt himself and alcohol abuse.” He returned to his Woodland Hills home from the mental health facility on February 1, just two days prior to his death, the report detailed. There’s no way of knowing what was going through St. John’s head just before he died, in other words, but he clearly had been struggling for a period of time prior to his death. The actor who originated the role of Neil Winters on the aforementioned daytime drama. He was a leged in this industry. “The news of Kristoff St. John’s passing is heartbreaking. He was a very talented actor and an even better person,” CBS Television Network and Sony Pictures Television said in a joint statement, adding: “For those of us who were fortunate enough to work with him on The Young and the Restless for the last 27 years, he was a beloved friend whose smile and infectious laugh made every day on set a joy and made audiences love him. “On behalf of the Y&R cast and crew, CBS and Sony Pictures Television, we offer our heartfelt sympathy to his family and loved ones, especially his two daughters, Paris and Lola.” The actor is survived by fiancée Kseniya Mikhaleva, ex-wives Mia St. John and Allana Nadal and two children: Paris, his daughter with Mia; and Lola, his daughter with Nadal. Earlier in March, Mikhaleva, said she would not be able to attend his funeral. “Several weeks ago I applied for an ’emergency’ visa for the funeral to say goodbye my fiancé and beloved,” she wrote on Instagram. “The reply from the Embassy was ‘No’. My heart is broken.” She concluded: “I am going through this with a huge pain in my heart,and realize that I don’t have opportunity to say goodbye to him and put flowers on his grave. It is not right, not fair. Fly, my love, and finally find peace.” So very sad. May Kristoff St. John rest in peace. In November 2018, Tamla Horsford was found dead at a friend’s home after an adult sleepover. The mother of five’s death was ruled an accident by alcohol poisoning but there have been skeptics who suggest that Horsford died at the hands of foul play. Major Joe Perkins with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia told reporters that none of Horsford’s injuries leaned towards foul play. “It was a party. They were drinking,”  11 Alive  reports. “She was drinking. Most of the partygoers had gone to bed at that time, and she was on the deck alone.” It was alleged that Horsford fell off a balcony where she was attending a “Football Moms” sleepover with seven other moms and three men. The early death certificate released by the coroner suggested that Horsford’s death was an accident but the fall from the balcony caused “multiple blunt force injuries” and “acute ethanol intoxication” also known as alcohol poisoning. But friends, internet theorists and more suggest that there’s more to the story. Her best friend  Michelle Graves , who was not at the party suggests that foul play happened to claim her friend’s life.  “It’s impossible to get the injuries that she had from one fall,” Graves told Atlanta’s WSB-TV . Here’s what we know. Horsford Died At A “Football Moms” Sleepover, Although Men Were Present There is video evidence of Horsford singing “Happy Birthday” at the party that was for the football mom’s. But why were men present if witnesses claim it was a sleepover just for the women? Multiple Abrasions Were Reportedly Found On Horsford’s Body Horsford’s family hired another medical examiner who found the other marks on Horsford’s body. The man who called 911,  Jose Barrera pointed out a cut on Horsford’s wrist. “She’s lying in the yard, basically on the patio downstairs. She’s not moving one bit. She’s not breathing,” he told dispatchers. “I’m noticing a small cut on her right wrist. She’s not breathing whatsoever. I don’t know if this cut was self-inflicted.” “We’re glad we’re not the only ones who feel there’s something awry with the story and with how she lost her life,” Graves told  WSB-TV  reporter Mike Petchenik. Barrera himself was placed on leave by his job at the Forsyth County Court system for using his position to “access confidential files on a current investigation surrounding a death in which you were a witness.” He was later terminated . Horsford’s case was officially closed on February 20 . “The State of Georgia has ruled the death accidental and consistent with an accidental fall,” s aid Major Joe Perkins with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office . “None of the injury patterns noted were consistent with foul play.” After speaking to the attendees’ police said Horsford’s death happened when she accidentally fell from a deck at the house. None of the attendees of the party saw the fall. “While the injuries sustained appeared to have been likely received in a fall, detectives awaited toxicology and medical examiner reports to verify the findings,” Perkins said.

We now know what killed Rapper Mac Miller. The The L.A. County Coroner’s Office ruled is death an “accidental overdose.”  The toxicology findings found that the rapper died from “mixed drug toxicity,” specifically fentanyl, coke, and alcohol. The amounts of each substance wasn’t enough to be deadly but the combination of all the substances was lethal. Miller was found by his assistant and was pronounced dead on the scene. There was a list of drugs found at his house like Xanax, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and generic Adderall. She put out “Thank You, Next” about all the lessons all her exes taught her. She mentioned her relationship with Detroit rapper Big Sean as well as her failed engagement to comedian Pete Davidson. Her lyrics says “ Thought I’d end up with Sean / But he wasn’t a match / Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh / Even almost got married / And for Pete, I’m so thankful / Wish I could say ‘thank you’ to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel.” If you want to know about how Rihanna ain’t playing with 45… Let’s just say Trump should be checking his mailbox for a possible cease and desist. Jen Harley Defends Jersey Shore Meltdown: It Was About My Dead Dog!

DISCLAIMER: We adore pets here at The Hollywood Gossip; and we especially love dogs. So if we take a sarcastic tone while reporting on Jen Harley’s latest Instagram Story post below, or if we straight up mock the occasionally-violent reality star, it’s not because we aren’t sympathetic to the loss of a furry loved one. All that said… … what the heck is Harley talking about here?!? Last Thursday night, MTV aired the much-anticipated confrontation between Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. It took place in Las Vegas; it centered on Ronnie’s irritation over Jen hiding the couple’s daugther from him; and it even involved a producer stepping in front of a camera in order to try and calm Ronnie down. At various points in the dispute, Harley slammed her on-again/off-again boyfriend as a “loser” as a “psychopath” and as a “piece of sh-t.” She also spit on Ronnie. The argument had seemingly been a long time come, considering how viciously Harley and Ronnie had previously attacked each other on social media. But that wasn’t actually the cause of their contention, Harley now says. Her history with Ronnie didn’t play a significant role in this ugly meltdown, Jen explains on Instagram. She actually blames her anger and emotions at the time on the very recent death of her dog. “They edited out the whole side of my story and [they] just showed me flipping out, not me on the phone with the vet crying after finding out my dog was brought in deceased,” Harley said in response to the episode airing. She continue to defend herself as follows: “I was pissed everyone was hiding it from me and ignoring me! anyone who [owns] a dog would feel the same way !! “They made me go there [and] film it for everyone to see they couldn’t tell me any other way and it was f-cked up and they made it something completely different.” A tabloid source did actually say something similar back in June . After reports of this fight went viral, this insider said “Jen was supposed to be taking care of the dogs when he was away filming, and Ronnie came home to their house and found the dog dead in the pool.” YIKES . We can understand why this would cause serious tension between the estranged reality stars. But it’s not as though they hadn’t been going back and forth online long before this tragedy took place.  So… where do Jen and Ronnie stand now? We have absolutely no idea. One second, we read something about their disdain for each other. The next second, as they are above on July Fourth, the two are looking all lovey-dovey on social media. That photo right here, we should note, was snapped AFTER last week’s crazy episode was filmed. As we keep coming back and saying each time the topic of Jen and Ronnie is raised, only one thing really matters in the end: The health and happiness of their young daughter, Ariana. On Tuesday, Colton Underwood as confirmed as the next Bachelor . Responses were mixed, but he has to be less controversial than the last dude, right? Speaking of the infamous Arie Luyendyk Jr., his wedding date with his season’s runner-up is looming closer. And he’s giving fans a sneak peek of what wedding guests will soon see for themselves. On Wednesday, Arie Luyendyk Jr. shared a snap his save the date cards with his fans and followers on Instagram. “Sending these out this week!” Arie writes in the captions of his photo. Arie continues, writing: “January can’t come soon enough.” Some might mean that they’re looking forward to winter weather after this hellish summer, but Arie is excited about his wedding date. Take a look: In the process of sharing the card, Arie confirmed the wedding date and location . This wedding will take place on January 12, 2019 in Maui, Hawaii. The precise venue is the historic Haiku Mill, so guests can look forward to lush tropical gardens and the ruins of a 150-year-old sugar cane mill. A wedding in Hawaii for people who don’t live there is very much a destination wedding. Some would say that he and Lauren should have sent out these save the dates at least six months in advance, if not earlier. But we imagine that Lauren is eager to walk down the aisle — out of fear that Arie might once again change his mind. Arie also thanked the online marketplace, Minted, for the save the date design. Arie and Lauren may have fallen in love and even gotten engaged on camera, but they won’t be allowing television cameras at their nuptials. “It’s not your typical beach wedding,” the couple recently told The View . “And it’s a private wedding,” they explained. “So not on TV.” So all of their teasing about having a TV wedding was for nothing. Instead of some big, lucrative TV wedding, they’ll have “just a close group of friends. Probably 100 guests.” “Lauren and I flew to the Maldives at The Bachelor and Becca’s request,” Arie shared last month on Instagram. “It’s a conversation that unfortunately won’t be shown,” he admitted. “But it was really positive for all of us.” Arie admits: “You can imagine this trip could have been very difficult for Lauren but she has supported and stood by me in all of this. …” “I thank and love her everyday because of that,” Arie added. The controversial ex-Bachelor concluded: “We wish Becca all the happiness in the world and can’t wait to see how tonight goes!” While Arie and even Lauren may be supportive of Becca, she was the wronged party, so that’s only fair. A lot of the Bachelor Nation is not yet prepared to forgive Arie for his brutal breakup with Becca. And, quite frankly, a lot of viewers didn’t like him before that, either. Arie’s best bet is probably to wait. Eventually, his brand may recover as his antics become more of a distant memory. Time heals all brands, it seems. On the other hand, if Colton Underwood turns out to be worse as the leading man, it’s very possible that fans will gloss over Arie’s behavior. David Eason: I Need a Gun So They Don’t Force My Straight White Ass Into a Concentration Camp!

It’s been almost seven months since David Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 for hurling bigoted slurs at fans on social media. But Jenelle Evans’ husband has made a point of not backing away from his controversial stances. In fact — because 2018 is nightmarish hellscape in which every idiot with an opinion feels that they need to cram it down your throat on a daily basis until you run screaming for the “block” button — he’s been more outspoken than ever in recent weeks.  You see, David is one of those well-heeled straight, Christian white guys who has somehow convinced himself he’s an oppressed minority. In David’s mind, the whole world is out to get him, and the barbarians are forever at his gates, which is why he needs to be armed to the teeth in order to defend himself. And he’s been expressing that view in increasingly offensive fashion lately with the help of the preferred weapon of internet jackasses everywhere — memes. As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup points out , David posted the above meme earlier this week, and predictably, the reaction from fans has been one of mingled confusion and outrage. “Why gun control? Because armed people will NOT willingly load themselves into railroad boxcars,” reads the caption. So … does David really think he’s at risk of being sent off to a concentration camp? Interestingly, that post comes on the heels of another one in which Eason boasts of his pride in being a straight white redneck. “For the people who get offended when you call them what they identify themselves as… I’m also proud to be a white man, a southerner and a redneck! #pride,” Eason captioned the above image. As far as we can tell, David is the kind of guy who will tell you that he and the rest of the MAGA crowd are tired of winning in one breath, and then argue that he needs an AR-15 to protect himself from his many oppressors in the next. He’s that very modern sort of dipsh-t who will complain about identity politics while proudly affixing himself with labels that he thinks will make his opinions matter more. Clearly, political matters are very much at the forefront of David’s mind these days. But since he and his wife have had CPS called to their house 20 times in the past year, maybe he should focus a bit more energy on getting his own house in order. Dolores O’Riordan Death Ruled "Tragic Accident" by Coroner

We now know why Dolores O’Riordan passed away in January. The former Cranberries lead singer was shockingly found dead in London several months ago, leaving this world at the relatively young age of 46. There were various theories as to what transpired at the time, with many outlets claiming O’Riordan’s death was related to her history of substance abuse. One irresponsible tabloid even alleged she had overdosed on sleeping pills . Now, however, per The BBC, coroner Shirley Radcliffe has completed her report and determined that the artist died due to a “tragic accident.” She drowned in her hotel bathtub after drinking a lot of alcohol. According to this doctor and her findings, there were no signs of injury or self-harm found during the post-mortem examination. The BBC goes on to say that authorities discovered a bottle of champagne and five miniature bottles in O’Riordan’s hotel room, in addition to “containers of prescription drugs with a quantity of tablets in each container.” Moreover, toxicology tests revealed that O’Riordan’s blood contained “therapeutic” amounts of medication but 330mg of alcohol per 100mls of blood. This equates to “four times over the 80mg legal limit for driving.” In simpler terms: the singer was very, very drunk. But the official report does not state she intentionally drowned herself. Following the release of these findings, The Cranberries released a statement that reads: Today we continue to struggle to come to terms with what happened. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dolores’ children and her family and our thoughts are with them today. Dolores will live on eternally in her music. To see how much of a positive impact she had on people’s lives has been a source of great comfort for us. We’d like to say thank you to all of our fans for the outpouring of messages and their continues support during this very difficult time. O’Riordan joined The Cranberries when she was only 18 years old. She quickly became an integral part of the band both for her voice and also her songwriting. The group, whose top hits include “Linger,” “Dreams,” and “Zombie,” sold over 40 million albums worldwide and had multiple Billboard Top 200 hits throughout the 1990s. O’Riordan released her first solo album in 2003. Six years later, the group got back together and released an acoustic album as recently as 2017. O’Riordan’s death came as a stunning tragedy to her friends and fans. The remaining band members have repeatedly paid tribute to O’Riordan on Twitter, saying shortly after she died: We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today. Elsewhere, The Cranberries will releasing a new album, which O’Riordan had been working on with them before her death. It will contain previously unreleased material by the band, as well as other bonus material from the era and it will be released in October.  O’Riordan leaves behind three kids – Taylor, Mollie and Dakota – as well as her boyfriend, Olé Koretsky. John Heard: Shocking Cause of Death Revealed?!

Yesterday, we heard the tragic news that John Heard had passed away. He was 72 years old. John, an actor best known for his roles in the Home Alone movies and for his stint on The Sopranos, was found dead in a hotel room on Friday in Palo Alto, California. Hotel staff called for help, but he was pronounced dead as soon as police arrived on the scene. At this point, his death is being investigated by the coroner — there was no obvious cause, but foul play is not suspected. Interestingly, his rep revealed that just two days before John’s body was found, he had a minor back surgery. He was staying at the hotel while he recovered. So what happened? Did he experience some complications from the surgery? Did he have other unknown health issues? Obviously, we won’t know for sure until the coroner releases a report. But in the meantime, John’s third wife, Lana Pritchard, believes she knows what happened to the beloved actor. Lana, who was married to John for seven months in 2010 but who remained close with him, says in an interview with Radar Online that she was “heartbroken” to hear the news of his death. “I cannot believe John is dead,” she states. “His second wife Sharon phoned me with the news and then I saw it all over social media.” And then she drops the bomb: “I firmly believe that he died from an accidental overdose from the pain medication after the surgery.” An accidental overdose? It’s possible, we suppose — anything is. She says that “He was in so much pain from sciatica that he had problems walking and it was really getting him down.” Lana also adds that, in the past few years, his sciatica had gotten worse, but he was scared of taking painkillers because he didn’t want to get addicted. “John told his doctor that the medication changed his moods so he was placed on a low dosage,” she explains, “but I know he was in a lot of pain.” Another layer to the issue is that John’s son, Max, passed away at the age of 22 back in December — and Lana alleges that Max died from an overdose. She claims that John “had struggled to come to terms with the death of his son Max from an overdose,” and that he also “hated being riddled with pain as he wanted to be active.” “I spoke with him on Tuesday before the surgery,” she continues, “and he was in positive spirits but he did not want anyone to help him — I feel so bad because I think I could have done more.” “He was a kind guy and we have known each other for many years. I’m worried that he lay in the hotel room dead for a few days, that is very sad.” It really, really is. “I am going to miss John,” Lana concludes. “He always took time for his fans and he was at heart a good person and a really talented actor too, he was liked by a lot of people.” Whatever caused his death, it really does seem like his work touched a lot of people. It’s been two weeks since the music world was stunned by the sudden death of Chris Cornell , the pioneering singer/songwriter whose inimitable vocal stylings helped Soundgarden and Audioslave rise to the top of the charts. Just hours after his body was found, medical examiners in Wayne County, Michigan ruled  Cornell’s death a suicide . Cornell’s widow, Vicky Karayiannis, and others close to the musician expressed doubts about the coroner’s findings. Karayiannis maintained that drugs played a role in Cornell’s death , a theory that shocked fans, as the singer had been sober for nearly 15 years prior to hsi passing. Nevertheless, Karyiannis issued a statement expressing her belief that the results of a pending toxicology report would corroborate her beliefs. Today, TMZ obtained the results of that report , and it seems that Karayiannis was correct in her assertion that Cornell was under the influence at the time of his passing. The coroner who examined Cornell’s body confirmed that the following drugs were found in his system: Naloxone (Narcan), Butalbital (sedative), Lorazepam (Ativan), Pseudoephedrine (decongestant), and unspecified barbiturates. Witnesses claimed to have seen puncture marks on Cornell’s arms, but it appears those were the result of Narcan injections made by paramedics in an effort to save the 52-year-old’s life. Shortly after her husband’s death, Karayiannis stated that she knew Cornell was intoxicated just from speaking with him on the phone. She asked the singer’s bodyguard, who was staying in the same Detroit hotel, to check on Cornell, but tragically, it was too late. An apparently drug-addled Cornell had hung himself in his room with an exercise belt. Karayiannis issued the following statement in response to today’s findings: “Many of us who know Chris well, noticed that he wasn’t himself during his final hours and that something was very off. We have learned from this report that several substances were found in his system.  “After so many years of sobriety, this moment of terrible judgment seems to have completely impaired and altered his state of mind. “Something clearly went terribly wrong and my children and I are heartbroken and are devastated that this moment can never be taken back.” She concluded: “We very much appreciate all of the love we have received during this extremely difficult time and are dedicated to helping others in preventing this type of tragedy.” Our thoughts go out to Cornell’s widow and children during this tremendously difficult time.
