Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham: We’re Married!

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham have achieved the near-impossible. The couple has actually gone from The Bachelor to… the altar! Will Arie and Lauren last a lifetime? It’s too early to say. But they’ve already accomplished what few twosomes who got together via this franchise have accomplished before them: an actual exchanging of vows! As documented by Us Weekly, Arie and Lauren got married this weekend in Hawaii. “Ever since we’ve gotten together, we wanted to fast-forward to this day,” Luyendyk told this tabloid , adding:  “It’s been a year. That’s kind of crazy ‘cause I remember a year ago we were doing ‘happy couples [weekend on The Bachelor]’ and talking about getting married and wanting to do that, even last year, so it’s awesome that the day is finally here.” He’s not wrong. It’s been quite a journey for these reality stars. Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham met while filming season 22 of The Bachelor last year. But their courtship both ended and then started again amidst controversy. This is because the former race car driver proposed to Becca Kufrin during the season finale. However, he later had a change of heart, broke up with Kufrin in front of ABC cameras… and decided he wanted to be with Burnham. After shattering Kufrin’s heart into a million pieces, Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham got engaged during the live After the Final Rose special in March. “I made some bad decisions but the best decision was running back to you,” the real estate agent said during his proposal, continung as follows: “I truly believe are my soulmate. I’m ready to face this life with you and all that comes with it. I love you so much. “I wanted to do this in front of everyone because I want to show you that I should have done this a long time ago.” In November, meanwhile, the famous couple took fans by surprise when they announced they were expecting. We’ve since learned they are expecting a girl . “We are so excited,” the former ex-Bachelor told Us Weekly last fall. “It’s going to be a whole new chapter in our lives.” Referencing his child’s gender and his now-wife, Arie added: “I’m definitely excited to see Lauren and her together, and I think it’s gonna be so adorable. “Everything’s so new, so we’re buying parenting books… “There’s just so much that we don’t know, and I think learning together and experiencing this together is gonna be a lot of fun.” All eyes of Bachelor Nation will now hone in on Arie and Lauren to see if their love truly lasts. For now, though, as mentioned previously, they’ve already defied the odds by tying the knot. “To say it’s been quite a year would be an understatement!” Arie recently wrote on Instagram as the calendar flippe. “Lots of firsts and many more to come! Thank you for all of your love and we can’t wait to share what is going to be the biggest year out of our lives in 2019!” NOTE : To find out what’s on tap this season on The Bachelor, visit our section of The Bachelor spoilers ! Lauren Burnham: Jenna Cooper is NOT a Cheater!!

Last month, the Bachelor in Paradise finale was marred by a cheating scandal . Jenna Cooper and Jordan Kimball won … and then all hell broke loose. Alleged texts say that Jenna was cheating, but she swears that she’s a victim of fraud — and says she can prove it. Now, she’s being defended by none other than Bachelor Winner Lauren Burnham. So, remember how Bekah Martinez told the world that most of the women from  The Bachelor  had still kept in touch? Well, several women from Arie’s season, including Lauren Burnham, Jaqueline Turmbull, and Sienne Flemming, got together for a slumber party. (Yes, these women had all dated Arie, yes, Lauren is his fiancee, and yes, Arie was apparently also there) One of Arie’s exes who was present was Jenna Cooper, who was eliminated in week 6 of the season. These women are friends, so the gathering makes sense — except to fans who think that Jenna is some sort of snake in the grass. A fan commented on Instagram, writing: “Anyone else think it’s so shady that they’re all hanging out with Jenna?” The comment concludes: “after she proved how terrible of a human she is?” If you’re wondering  wait, when did she “prove” she’s terrible?  … you are not alone. “No spewing hate here, love,” Lauren Burnham replied to the fan’s comment. “There are two sides to every story,” Lauren reminds the commenter. “And,” Lauren says. “The only evidence I know of backs the fact that Jenna did not do what she’s being accused of.” “What’s the evidence?” a curious fan demands to know. Lauren clearly has a healthy set of boundaries (for a  Bachelor  star, anyway), because she doesn’t cough up the goods. “That’s for her to release,” Lauren replies. She is absolutely correct — we’ll get into what that evidence may be in just a moment. “It should be happening very soon,” Lauren teases. A lot of fans would be very happy to see solid proof instead of relying upon speculation. Lauren reminds fans that she is not exactly the type to just decide who is innocent and who is guilty all willy-nilly. “I am not one to jump on the bandwagon and take a side without solid evidence,” Lauren affirms. “I can tell you that her story is very compelling,” Lauren adds. “And she has professional proof.” She then offers a worde of warning for fans who leapt to conclusions when this alleged cheating scandal first broke. Lauren suggests: “I would just advise not to be so quick to publicly state opinions without knowing the whole story.” Jenna was accused of cheating after text messages were published which purportedly showed that Jenna was cheating on Jordan Kimball. Those same texts indicated that she was planning on dumping him, which would have been humiliating after his  Bachelor in Paradise  proposal. However, Jenna has insisted that, though the texts emulate her writing style, she didn’t write them. She has also taken the extra step of  hiring an attorney  in her quest to clear her name. Jenna put her phone through a forensic program  to prove that she has never sent any texts of the sort. (Such a program would capture even deleted text messages) It is probably that forensic analysis to which Lauren is referring. However, there may be more. Jenna’s own attorneys have expressed the belief that Jordan himself may have fabricated the texts. It is possible that this theory, expressed in a private email to him that  Jordan then made public , was intended as a negotiating tactic or a bluff. But it is also possible that Jenna’s attorneys have uncovered further evidence — of Jenna’s innocence or even of Jordan’s alleged guilt. If Lauren is right, Jenna may air at least some of her evidence soon. View Slideshow: Bachelor in Paradise Finale Tarnished By Texting Scandal … But Did Jenna Cooper Really Cheat?

Jen Harley Defends Jersey Shore Meltdown: It Was About My Dead Dog!

DISCLAIMER: We adore pets here at The Hollywood Gossip; and we especially love dogs. So if we take a sarcastic tone while reporting on Jen Harley’s latest Instagram Story post below, or if we straight up mock the occasionally-violent reality star, it’s not because we aren’t sympathetic to the loss of a furry loved one. All that said… … what the heck is Harley talking about here?!? Last Thursday night, MTV aired the much-anticipated confrontation between Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. It took place in Las Vegas; it centered on Ronnie’s irritation over Jen hiding the couple’s daugther from him; and it even involved a producer stepping in front of a camera in order to try and calm Ronnie down. At various points in the dispute, Harley slammed her on-again/off-again boyfriend as a “loser” as a “psychopath” and as a “piece of sh-t.” She also spit on Ronnie. The argument had seemingly been a long time come, considering how viciously Harley and Ronnie had previously attacked each other on social media. But that wasn’t actually the cause of their contention, Harley now says. Her history with Ronnie didn’t play a significant role in this ugly meltdown, Jen explains on Instagram. She actually blames her anger and emotions at the time on the very recent death of her dog. “They edited out the whole side of my story and [they] just showed me flipping out, not me on the phone with the vet crying after finding out my dog was brought in deceased,” Harley said in response to the episode airing. She continue to defend herself as follows: “I was pissed everyone was hiding it from me and ignoring me! anyone who [owns] a dog would feel the same way !! “They made me go there [and] film it for everyone to see they couldn’t tell me any other way and it was f-cked up and they made it something completely different.” A tabloid source did actually say something similar back in June . After reports of this fight went viral, this insider said “Jen was supposed to be taking care of the dogs when he was away filming, and Ronnie came home to their house and found the dog dead in the pool.” YIKES . We can understand why this would cause serious tension between the estranged reality stars. But it’s not as though they hadn’t been going back and forth online long before this tragedy took place.  So… where do Jen and Ronnie stand now? We have absolutely no idea. One second, we read something about their disdain for each other. The next second, as they are above on July Fourth, the two are looking all lovey-dovey on social media. That photo right here, we should note, was snapped AFTER last week’s crazy episode was filmed. As we keep coming back and saying each time the topic of Jen and Ronnie is raised, only one thing really matters in the end: The health and happiness of their young daughter, Ariana. We hope she’s doing okay. View Slideshow: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro: Demanding Paternity Test from Jen Harley?

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Share New Wedding Details!

On Tuesday, Colton Underwood as confirmed as the next Bachelor . Responses were mixed, but he has to be less controversial than the last dude, right? Speaking of the infamous Arie Luyendyk Jr., his wedding date with his season’s runner-up is looming closer. And he’s giving fans a sneak peek of what wedding guests will soon see for themselves. On Wednesday, Arie Luyendyk Jr. shared a snap his save the date cards with his fans and followers on Instagram. “Sending these out this week!” Arie writes in the captions of his photo. Arie continues, writing: “January can’t come soon enough.” Some might mean that they’re looking forward to winter weather after this hellish summer, but Arie is excited about his wedding date. Take a look: In the process of sharing the card, Arie confirmed the wedding date and location . This wedding will take place on January 12, 2019 in Maui, Hawaii. The precise venue is the historic Haiku Mill, so guests can look forward to lush tropical gardens and the ruins of a 150-year-old sugar cane mill. A wedding in Hawaii for people who don’t live there is very much a destination wedding. Some would say that he and Lauren should have sent out these save the dates at least six months in advance, if not earlier. But we imagine that Lauren is eager to walk down the aisle — out of fear that Arie might once again change his mind. Arie also thanked the online marketplace, Minted, for the save the date design. Arie and Lauren may have fallen in love and even gotten engaged on camera, but they won’t be allowing television cameras at their nuptials. “It’s not your typical beach wedding,” the couple recently told The View . “And it’s a private wedding,” they explained. “So not on TV.” So all of their teasing about having a TV wedding was for nothing. Instead of some big, lucrative TV wedding, they’ll have “just a close group of friends. Probably 100 guests.” “Lauren and I flew to the Maldives at The Bachelor and Becca’s request,” Arie shared last month on Instagram. “It’s a conversation that unfortunately won’t be shown,” he admitted. “But it was really positive for all of us.” Arie admits: “You can imagine this trip could have been very difficult for Lauren but she has supported and stood by me in all of this. …” “I thank and love her everyday because of that,” Arie added. The controversial ex-Bachelor concluded: “We wish Becca all the happiness in the world and can’t wait to see how tonight goes!” While Arie and even Lauren may be supportive of Becca, she was the wronged party, so that’s only fair. A lot of the Bachelor Nation is not yet prepared to forgive Arie for his brutal breakup with Becca. And, quite frankly, a lot of viewers didn’t like him before that, either. Arie’s best bet is probably to wait. Eventually, his brand may recover as his antics become more of a distant memory. Time heals all brands, it seems. On the other hand, if Colton Underwood turns out to be worse as the leading man, it’s very possible that fans will gloss over Arie’s behavior. But it’s difficult to imagine a less popular Bachelor than Arie happening any time soon. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Veterans Blast Arie, ABC for Cruel Finale Break-Up

Heather Locklear Enters Rehab Following Domestic Violence Arrest

To the horror of fans and everyone else, Heather Locklear has been arrested for domestic violence and for allegedly assaulting a police officer. While this isn’t the first time that Locklear’s been in trouble with the law, this sounds serious and deeply alarming. Fans will be relieved to know that she’s taking this seriously. She is reportedly checking in to a rehab facility. On Sunday night, Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of both domestic violence and assaulting a police officer.  Authorities received a disturbance call, which apparently made by Locklear’s own brother, and responded. Upon arrival, officers noticed visible marks on the face of Locklear’s boyfriend, Chris Heisser, that they interpreted as signs of battery. But apparently Locklear lashed out, flailing and kicking and successfully striking three officers before she was finally cuffed and carted away. The one charge of domestic violence is a felony. She is also facing three charges of battery of emergency responders, which are misdemeanors. She’s been bailed out since, however. RadarOnline reports that the 56-year-old actress has now, with the support of her boyfriend, entered a treatment facility north of Los Angeles. This was apparently a voluntary decision that she made after being bailed out of prison. Cynically, one could look at this move as an attempt to cover for her alleged misdeeds that happened on February 25th. Entering rehab of your own accord will look better in court. Optimistically, maybe she’s just as horrified by her alleged actions towards her boyfriend and towards police and wants to make sure that she never does anything of the sort at any time in the future. Notably, this is reportedly her seventh stint in rehab — at least. Reportedly, she went to rehab over the holidays following a different domestic incident. Police conducted a search of Locklear’s home on Tuesday. The reason for the search is that the actress allegedly threatened to shoot them if they ever again entered her home. No matter what her state of mind was at the time when she made that horrifying threat, that’s the sort of thing that law enforcement must take seriously. Imagine if, the next time that something horrible like this happens at her home, officers respond to find that she makes good on her threat. Unlikely, one hopes, but the police want to make sure that they aren’t sending officers into the jaws of death.  While hopefully it was just Locklear’s “uncooperative” and “combative” mood talking, police were unable to locate the firearm that Locklear has registered in her name. As we mentioned, this is not Heather Locklear’s first run-in with the law. Not by a long shot, unfortunately. In September of 2008, she was pulled over for a DUI (there’s a long story there, including it having been reported by a former gossip magazine editor who also photographed her and sold the pictures for a tidy sum). This led to Locklear pleading no contest in 2009. It’s important to note that, thankfully, no one was injured in that case. Also in 2008, someone who claimed to be Locklear’s doctor made a phone call claiming that the actress was attempting to commit suicide. Though things seemed fine when responders arrived at Locklear’s home, she did end up checking into a facility for psychological issues, including anxiety and depression. In 2012, Locklear’s sister called emergency services and reported that Locklear was taking prescription drugs and alcohol and that she feared for her sister’s life. The next day, however, Locklear appeared to be out of the woods. Many believe that Locklear has multiple issues that haven’t been resolved or properly treated, including psychological struggles — and we doubt that she herself would disagree with that assessment at the moment. That said … does that excuse alleged domestic battery? Her alleged violent blow-ups have led to hospitalizations and drama before. Some are seriously questioning whether it’s safe for anyone to be in a relationship with her at this time. Everyone hopes that she makes a recovery and comes out of rehab with a sound mind and a commitment to being a better person. View Slideshow: 22 Most Memorable Celebrity Mug Shots of All-Time

Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk: How Long Will They Last?

We want to do it quickly! So Luyendyk told People Magazine this week about his impending wedding to Lauren Burnham. The disgraced Bachelor explained to the publication that he and his second-and-then-first choice for a wife have been planning their big day for months and that it will definitely happen this year. But will it, though? Will it really?!? Fans around the globe are wondering whether Arie and Lauren will truly make it down the aisle, partly due to the roundabout way in which they got together: First, Arie dumped Lauren for Becca Kufrin. Then, he proposed to Becca. Then, he called Lauren around New Year’s, told her he still had feelings for her and learned she was still interested in him. Then, he gathered with an ABC camera crew and told Becca that he wanted to have a romantic weekend with her in Los Angeles. Then, he dumped her . Then, he proposed to Lauren on last night’s After the Rose special. And…that brings us to today! Arie and Lauren are well aware that they are plenty of doubters out there, as well as plenty of haters. “We don’t really care what anyone else has to say,” Burnham tells People of her critics, but we can’t imagine she really means this. And whatever, the point right now is not whether Lauren and Arie are concerned about the opinions of others… the point is whether others are correct. Kelly Ripa, for example, responded to someone on Twitter last night who predicted that Arie and Lauren will last for 100 days as a couple. “You’re being generous,” the talk show host joked in response. Yet we somehow don’t think she was joking. No matter how in love Bachelor-based couples look on television, the following fact remains: Only one of 22 Bachelors has actually married the woman to whom he proposed on the show. Granted, Arie did not technically propose to Lauren on the show itself. He proposed on the after -show — but does this really give anyone comfort? Does it really make anyone think there’s a very long-term future for the couple? Both Arie and Lauren are saying all the right things, too. “Love is not always perfect,” Arie tells People, getting all profound and adding: “Everyone finds each other in a different way. It’s not always a fairy tale, but as long as Lauren and I have each other, we’re happy.” Burnham, meanwhile, claims the way Arie selected Becca and then her is actually a positive sign: “It gives me confidence in our relationship knowing that he truly wants to be with me and he took this huge risk to make it happen.” Yes, sure. This absolutely may prove to be prescient. Or Arie and Lauren may have broken up by the time you read this. What do you think? The Bachelor Fans Think They Know the Winner … Who Will it Be?!

ABC’s favorite reality show is nearly back, and if you’ve been following The Bachelor spoilers , you know how things are expected to end. But some fans have a different theory about who Arie picks on the Bachelor  this coming season, and it’s worth hearing out. These fans are setting aside rumors and reports, and trying to figure out Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s choice by using math . They might be onto something. We’ve already met all of the women competing for Arie Luyendyk Jr. on The Bachelor ‘s 22nd season. And while reports about the rumored winner sound reliable (we’ll get into that later), like a third of the fun of watching The Bachelor is trying to work out the winner for yourself. (The messes, the feuds, the romances, the torn feelings, the hometown dates, the Bachelor Nation responses on Twitter, guessing who’ll make it to Bachelor in Paradise , figuring out who’s a hopeless romantic and who’s just there for branding, … there are a lot of fun things about this franchise, folks) So, what are fans using to figure out the winner before the series even begins to air? Math . Because, as we’ve mentioned before, of the 29 contestants vying for Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s “heart,” 4 of them are named Lauren. Four . That’s about 14%. That’s absurd , even for a common name. Anyway, they figure that the odds are pretty good that it’ll be one of the Laurens. But which one? Let’s take a look. Lauren Burnham is known officially as Lauren B. If you already know Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s final four , you know that Lauren makes it that far. It’s easy to see why — she’s gorgeous. (And some superstitious folks think that every Lauren B. might be charmed, after Lauren Bushnell) Lauren’s a 25-year-old who works in tech sales. And, while we’re being superstitious, she’s from Dallas. Dallas girls tend to make an impression with the Bachelor Nation. But she’s only one of the Laurens. Lauren G — Lauren Griffin — is a 25-year-old executive recruiter from L.A. Now, smart money says that Arie Luyendyk Jr. hasn’t suddenly developed the heart of a Disney prince and a desire to fall in love for the entertainment of ABC’s viewers. It’s widely believed that Arie’s just looking to build his brand, which is one of many factors that made the Bachelor Nation so bewildered when showrunners selected him to play the leading man. (Yes, we are still talking about that) So, if Arie’s looking to network, Lauren might be able to help him out a lot with that. Unfortunately, there’s only so much that we know about the Laurens … so far. Lauren Jarreau is 33, which isn’t “old” but it would make her closer to Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s age than her fellow Laurens, for sure. Some think that perhaps Arie has had his fill of pretty young thangs and would be interested in a recent graduate of a Masters program who’s closer to his age. (But, yeah, she’s not only the eldest Lauren but also the eldest contestant this season, which … will probably come up more times than she’d like) Lauren J. didn’t have a job listed when ABC released everyone’s names and portraits. Which is fine — she just finished a Masters program — but might not be as exciting to Arie. Lauren Schleyer is a 31-year-old social media manager from Dallas. Yes, another Lauren from Dallas. In one season. (Honestly, how did the higher ups at ABC not put their foot down?) There are, for the record, also two “Britneys” (one Brittnay and one Brittane) and two “Rebeccas” (one being Becca and the other being Rebekah). So … if you want to not get totally lost when the season airs, you might want to start memorizing names and faces now. Now, we’ve already heard who wins Arie Luyendyk Jr. at the end of the season. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Season 22 Cast: Official Photos, Descriptions Revealed! While it’s a report, and reports can be wrong, many feel that Reality Steve getting sued is an indication that these reports are the real deal. But you never know.
