Mariah Carey Sent Spies to Try and Catch Nick Cannon Cheating, Source Claims

There have been many rumored causes of the Mariah Carey-Nick Cannon split , but throughout it all, reps for both parties have denied there was any infidelity involved. That may be the case, but a new report suggests that Mariah certainly suspected Nick of sleeping around. It’s already been rumored that Mariah hired a security team to prevent Nick from flirting with other women, and now it seems her suspicions and insecurities only got worse as her marriage began to fall apart.  “She would send her assistants to spy on him during tapings of America’s Got Talent in New York City,” a source close to the couple tells Radar Online. The insider adds that the spying continued even after the couple had separated, and Carey frequently harassed Cannon by phone: “She would send her assistants to spy on him during tapings of America’s Got Talent in New York City…It was just sad to see because Nick used to brag about how amazing his wife was to everyone on set.” Cannon was apparently one of the last to realize that Mariah’s suspicions had gotten out of control. Sources say Cannon’s family begged him to leave Carey for years before he finally decided that they should live separately for the sake of their children. Kourtney & Kim Take Miami Recap: Underkover Kim, One-Eyed Lord D

This week on Kourtney & Kim Take Miami featured something called a blood facial for Kim, but it wasn’t as dirty as it probably sounds.  Also, Scott ended up almost losing one of his balls … sort of. Come along for THG’s official +/- KKTM recap! Kim, or the producers who script her every move, have always loved “detective work.” That’s how she justifies her spying and meddling, anyway. Minus 50 . So you can imagine how excited she is when Larsa’s friend Jake, an actual real P.I., comes to the city to work on a pro bono kidnapping case. Kim Kardashian signs up to help, which is unrealistic in so many ways if they expect us to believe this is a real case, but that’s reality TV for you. Minus 350 . Kim: “If I wasn’t doing what I’m doing now, I would totally be a crime scene investigator.” We were thinking more like porn star, but Plus 100 for aiming high. Still, thanks to Kim’s social networking skills, supposedly, they locate the missing girl’s BF and help point officials in the right direction. So Plus 200 . Meanwhile,  Kourtney Kardashian is a bit concerned about her weight, which wasn’t that big a deal until Scott Disick weighed in with his two cents. Scott suggests that 93 pounds would be “the dream” weight for her. Minus only 50 because he thinks he’s just kidding … but thin ice, buddy. Scott’s problems don’t end there. When he goes to the beach with Kourtney and Mason, he gets a bit of sand in his eye. We know. Dude has got it rough. Scott: “I’m about to have to say goodbye to one of my eyeballs, can we go?” He’s lost his other two balls a long time ago, so please, hurry up people.  Minus 100 . Scott: “You’ve got a beautiful kneecap.” Aww. So kind. He actually does get a scratched cornea, which means he has to wear an eye patch … which Kourt makes sure has an “LD” monogram, luckily. Lord Disick, baby. Can’t hold him down. Plus 300 . EPISODE TOTAL: +50! SEASON TOTAL: +493!

Wikileaks Conspiracy

There's a conspiracy afoot! It involves WikiLeaks , a site which has an impressive track record of bringing sensitive documents to light, and shadowy U.S. government agents (actual shadowiness of the agents is based on my own speculation). Judge for yourself what's going on based on these exciting WikiLeaks Twitter updates. (They've since confirmed that they're OK.) Is the U.S. Government Spying on a Tiny Secret-Sharing Website? [Espionage]

Wikileaks.org is a website legendary in certain circles for posting documents people want hidden from the world. The Pentagon is not a fan. Now, Wikileaks is accusing the U.S. of spying on its editors. Tonight, Wikileaks tweeted that it was “currently under an aggressive US and Icelandic surveillance operation,” and provided a few creepy details: These might sound like the paranoid rantings of an Internet nutjob, but coming from Wikileaks we are inclined to the believe them: In 2008, the Pentagon commissioned a report on the site, which found that “‘WikiLeaks.org represents a potential force protection, counterintelligence, OPSEC and INFOSEC threat to the U.S. Army’ – or, in plain English, a threat to Army operations and information,” according to the Times . (Wikileaks posted the report to its site last week.) Wikileaks, which is run by a 9-person advisory board, has built a reputation based on its impressive record of posting secret documents like the ones that threaten the U.S. Army. These include emails hacked from Sarah Palin’s private account, 570,000 pager messages from 9/11 and the infamous climate change scientist emails. They have also posted sensitive U.S. military documents—most prominently the standard operating procedures for Guantanamo Bay. Judging from their tweets, Wikileaks believes the surveillance is related to an upcoming presentation where they will show unencrypted footage of a May 7 U.S. airstrike in Afghanistan which killed 97 civilians: The Pentagon had originally planned to show the video as proof that it had conducted the operation appropriately, despite having used airbursting bombs with civilians in the area. They later back-pedaled , likely because video was actually more incriminating than they first believed. Wikileaks obtained a copy of the encrypted video, and in January they tweeted “Have encrypted videos of US bomb strikes on civilians… we need super computer time.” They must have got that super computer time, and now U.S. authorities may be acting positively Chinese. Secret-sharing websites like Wikileaks have proven adept at dealing with legal challenges: When Cryptone.org was shut down by Microsoft earlier this year a mirror site was up within hours. But pissing off the government regarding national security matters is a whole other level. If anything happens to Wikileaks, you know who is responsible. (If you’re wondering what the editors were doing in Iceland: Wikileaks is currently helping draft legislation that would make the country a safe haven for investigative journalists. Ha!)
