The Daily Mail seems to find this guy interesting. The rest of us find him irritating and self-important. Jonathan Cheban, the self-proclaimed “best friend” of Kim Kardashian, was invited to speak on a panel at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, which features people working in the fields of advertising, creative communications and the like. Since his 4 minute appearance on the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother , Cheban has found a tiny bit of fame across the pond, though he once told co-star Gemma Collins that he didn’t need CBB for his career . “It’s not that, I’m huge here,” Cheban told her. “We’re [Keeping Up With The Kardashians ] on in 180 countries!” Fast-forward to June 22nd, and Collins has been reunited with Cheban. The two friends were part of a panel that included social media dude The Fat Jewish (who happened to be wearing shorts with photos of Kim Kardashian’s cry face). “Does she cry a lot?” fellow panelist Katie Hopkins asked Cheban of his bestie. “No, no,” he insisted. “But she has the best crying face. I think she was in tears there [while filming in Bora Bora] because she had lost an earring.” It’s true. Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kris Humphries threw her into the water, and this happened: When asked how he keeps his friendship with Kardashian so strong, Cheban explained that theirs is a “very competitive industry. “We all started at the same place eight or nine years ago and people are envious of us. Woman’s Torso Found In Suitcase Floating In Lake Ontario This is cray… Human remains found in a suitcase floating in Lake Ontario near Toronto this week belonged to a single mother who went missing early last month and whose body parts had been scattered throughout the city, police confirmed Thursday. Toronto police said a post−mortem examination identified the remains as those of Guang Hua Liu, a 41-year-old former spa owner and mother of three. The Toronto Sun reported that the suitcase was discovered floating about 1.6 miles offshore by boaters on Wednesday. Local resident Blaine Reardon told the Toronto Star he saw two boaters towing the luggage ashore. The newspaper described it as a “large, black, wheeled suitcase.” Local media said it contained a human torso. Liu was reported missing in early August. Hikers saw her foot floating in a river just west of Toronto a few days later. Police then found her head and hands elsewhere. A subsequent search unearthed more of Guang’s body parts in the suburb of Scarborough, in the city’s east end. Speaking to the Toronto Sun, Peel Regional Police Constable Fiona Thivierge said: “We are hoping that torso will lead us to understand how she came to die.” Chunqi Jiang, a construction worker and recently estranged boyfriend of the victim, was arrested last week and charged with second-degree murder. According to TMZ , not only does the police report confirm that Nicki did in fact get swung on in Dallas, it also confirms that Scaff Beezy did the swinging. TMZ broke the story … Nicki and Samuels were arguing at a hotel pool in Dallas Monday night and took it upstairs to the room. According to the police report, Nicki followed Samuels up to the room they were sharing, to make sure he didn’t take any of her stuff. Nicki was in the room looking into her suitcase, which had some of Samuels’ belongings, when she says he “grabbed the suitcase and as he was picking it up, he shoved the suitcase across [Nicki’s] chin and lower lip.” The police report goes on: “[Nicki’s] teeth struck the inside of her lower lip, causing the inside of the lower lip to cut and start to bleed.” According to the report, a paramedic arrived on scene, but Nicki decided she didn’t want to press charges so the case was closed. Did they really think they could pull this off? An inmate who tried to hide in a suitcase to escape jail was sent packing back to his cell, Mexican authorities said. The man, aided by his 19-year-old common law wife, was busted as she tried to wheel him out of a prison in Chetumal in the Caribbean state of Quintana Roo, police said. Juan Ramirez Tijerina’s bungled prison break followed his conjugal visit with Maria del Mar Arjona. Tijerina is serving a 20-year stretch for illegal weapons possession stemming from a conviction in 2007. Police said Arjona looked nervous as she struggled to pull the suitcase, which also looked to be unusually heavy. When officers stopped her and opened the case, they found Tijerina curled up in the fetal position. Arjona now faces prison time for her role in the attempted escape, authorities said. Silly girl! Well they caught that shady f*ck: An East Harlem man was charged with murder last night after he was caught on video disposing of a woman’s body stuffed inside a suitcase , police sources said. Hassan Malik (pictured), 55, who has a long rap sheet for burglary and drugs, copped to the strangulation slaying, the sources said. He claimed in his confession that he paid the victim, Betty Williams, for sex and afterwards, he noticed she was taking more money, so he killed her, other law enforcement sources said. When Malik walked out of the 23rd Precinct stationhouse early today he told reporters he was “sorry” for what he did. The break in the murder came after a tipster saw the chilling video that shows the alleged assailant wheeling a suitcase to a spot on East 114th Street near First Avenue. Williams, 28, who has 14 arrests, mostly for drugs, was found fully clothed inside the suitcase on Dec. 22 by a neighborhood resident who opened the bag and saw a leg pop out.
