Damnnnn: Huge Azz Highway Sign Falls On Moving Car In Australia [Video]

Dash cam apparently comes in handy for some things — like capturing the moment a large freeway sign fell on top of a moving car in Melbourne, Australia. RTE reports: The driver of the vehicle, a 53-year-old woman, suffered minor neck injuries and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in stable condition, Ambulance Victoria told Australian’s Nine Network. 16 feet wide by 13 feet high, was partly welded and bolted to the overhead barrier when it fell during the evening rush hour. The road was closed for inspection but later reopened. Police are now investigating the terrifying incident. Continue reading →

There was a time when it was thought that Roger Corman would actually direct Sharktopus , the SyFy channel shlocktastic midnight movie about a government engineered shark/octopus hybrid that debuted last fall. He didn’t, of course — but that doesn’t mean the indie pioneer wasn’t allowed to join in the fun. Corman appeared in the film as a “beach bum” who witnesses the terrifying(ly poor special effects of) sharktopus, and ahead you can watch him discuss how the amusing cameo came into being.

Indy 500 Crash Video: Mike Conway Suffers Leg Injury Yet Survived

Photo: AP It has been a successful Indy 500 race with a fine weather around but just like any other race, accidents are really inevitable. In this year’s race, Mike Conway has been the unlucky one to experience it. The thing happened during the remaining three laps. Closing to 2.9 seconds when a half-lap behind the Nos. 37 and 24 cars of Ryan Hunter-Reay and Mike Conway touched wheels, sending Conway’s car airborne and slamming into the catch fence. “I had nowhere to go,” Hunter-Reay said after the race. Conway suffered an injury to his left leg and was airlifted to nearby Methodist Hospital because of the heavy post-race traffic. He never lost consciousness and the injury was not considered life-threatening. He was able to finished 19th as the race ended.
