God, people suck sometimes. This statement could really be applied to any number of situations, but we’re choosing to focus for the moment on a recent incident that involved Miley Cyrus… … as well as the social media response to said incident. First, what transpired: Following a performance in Barcelona this week, Miley was making her way through a crowd when an overzealous fan lept out, kissed Cyrus, grabbed Cyrus and crossed pretty much very line in interacting with her. The inappropriate interaction went viral, both in the United States and abroad. You can see it for yourself here: Miley Cyrus Gets Groped in Barcelona At one point, Miley herself shared a clip of a news broadcast posting the footage, writing a forceful caption along with it that reads: She can be wearing what she wants. She can be a virgin. She can be sleeping with 5 different people. She can be with her husband. She can be with her girlfriend. She can be naked. She CAN’T be grabbed without her consent. #DontFuckWithMyFreedom. This seems rather obvious, right? What a woman wears and/or how a woman chooses to act does not mean that she ever deserves to be touched or fondled without her consent. Somehow, though, this seemingly obvious statement is not obvious to many dumb social media users out there. As you can see above, there’s a contingent of individuals who think that Cyrus can’t complain about some stranger groping her body simply because she has worn some risque outfits on stage. “What do they expect when they dress like whores,” someone named Maryann Martin actually wrote on Twitter. Thankfully, Cyrus put critics such as this directly in their place by clapping back in response: Don’t fuck with my freedom. #stillnotaskingforit. It’s sad that Cyrus even has to say this, but let’s just hope those insensitive and ignorant trolls have now received her message — loud and clear. Cyrus released her new EP, She Is Coming, last week, and stars in the latest episode of the Netflix series Black Mirror, which launches today. She’s been in the news of late for both of these projects … … and also for throwing her support behind abortion rights, recently announcing a charity fashion project involving her, designer Marc Jacobs, LGBT and homelessness charity Happy Hippie foundation, along Planned Parenthood. The artist launched and then promoted the initiative by posting an image of herself eating a cake featuring the words “Abortion is healthcare.” She’s also selling sweatshirts for this cause that feature her topless torso, nipples only covered by a piece of fruit: Too lewd? Too naked? Too… weird? You’re very welcome to think all of these things. You just aren’t welcome to lay your hands on Miley without her consent. Not ever.
Despite Scott Disick’s latest birthday making their relationship numerically creepier , he and Sofia Richie are going strong. They’ve been together for two years and she’s already bonded with his three children. So what’s next? According to a new report, they’ve had serious discussions about getting engaged. Us Weekly reports that Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have really talked about taking things to the next level. According to an insider, Scott and Sofia “have talked seriously about getting engaged.” “It’s a real possibility,” confirms a second source. But it doesn’t sound like there’s a real sense of urgency between the two. “As it is now,” that second insider continues. “Sofia and Scott look at each other as life partners.” Scott recently turned 36, meaning that the pair of them have a 16-year age gap. They’re both consenting adults, of course, but many wondered how long they could really last even if they are, technically, both Millennials. But now they’ve been dating for two years. According to an insider, Scott and Sofia “are in a great place.” “And,” the source adds, the pair are “stronger than ever.” If Scott and Sofia do decide to take things to the next level, will that make things awkward — or worse — with Scott’s baby mama? That first insider says that Kourtney is “not only unbothered by the idea of them getting engaged.” The source announces that “they’d [even] have her full support.” It sounds like Kourtney is astonishingly chill about Scott’s relationship getting even more serious. Keep in mind that she and Scott were together for many years and had three kids without taking that step. So why exaclty is Kourtney reportedly not just okay with, but happy about the idea of Scott proposing to Sofia? “Sofia is really so good with his kids,” the insider explains. We’ve heard as much. Sofia probably wasn’t planning on becoming basically a stepmom at 20, but she’s said to have bonded with the Disick kids. “And,” the source notes. “She has a good friendship and relationship with Kourtney.” Those group vacations and potentially awkward coparenting dinners have really paid off, huh? Kourtney must feel relieved that Sofia is getting along so well with her kids. No worries about a “wicked stepmom” here! Mason Disick is 9 years old, meaning that Sophia is only a little over twice his age. Penelope Disick is 6 years old. Reigh Disick, the youngest, is 4 years old. But it must also be a comfort to her that Scott and Sofia have found real love and companionship. Because that didn’t seem to be where Scott was headed in 2017. In 2017, Scott Disick was spiraling. He was seen with every hot 19-year-old model he could come across, from big-name hotties like Bella Thorne to the relatively unknown. Reports said that friends were in fear for his life after his alleged drinking binges. He and Kourtney were over, and Kourt had to work overtime to shield her kids from stories about Scott’s behavior. Anyone is welcome to thot around the world all that they like, but if you have kids, your first responsibility is to be a parent. But against all odds, Scott and Sofia — yet another young, outrageously hot young model — seemed to forge a connection. With all the bad news being reported by the press on a minute-to-minute basis these days, it can be easy to lose sight of all the good things that are happening in our world. Cosby is behind bars for the sexual assault of Andrea Constand . Of course, he’s been accused by more than 60 women, and he should be locked up for a very, very long time, but instead, he was sentenced to just 10 years behind bars. And since he’s old and rich and famous, he’ll probably only serve a fraction of that time. But on the plus side, the Cos is 81, so there’s still a good chance he’ll die in prison. That means he may never again get to do the things he does best — hock pudding pops, wear hideous sweaters, impart unsolicited advice to young people, and of course, creep on unsuspecting women in the entertainment industry. But while Cosby’s predator days may be behind him, he’s reportedly making the most of his time behind bars. “Mr. Cosby asked one of his inmate assistants to help him obtain photographs or art to bring life to his ‘dorm,’ ” a recently released inmate tells Radar Online. “Typically, inmates ask for weapons, electronics or drugs — so his request was quite easy.” Yes, it seems Cosby has buddied up to a fellow inmate named Bugs, who provides him with decor for his cell. And what sort of visual stimuli does Cosby prefer? Why, photos of famous women, of course! “Bugs gave him magazine clippings of icons like Beyoncé, Meghan Markle and Kris Jenner,” the tipster claims. According to ABCNews , the Plain View Project has been conducting an investigation into 3,100 Facebook posts made by Philadelphia police and found over 300 racist or offensive comments made by 328 active-duty officers. Many of these offensive posts included language that promoted violence against Blacks, Muslims, and immigrants. Some of the posts have comment threads between multiple officers who have no fear of telling the internet how they REALLY feel about non-white people. Says organization founder Emily Baker-White: “We found a very high and concerning number of posts that appear to endorse, celebrate or glorify violence and vigilantism,” Baker-White told ABC News in an interview on Tuesday. “We included posts that we thought could affect public trust and policing.” “We also included posts,” she added, “that seemed to emit some sort of bias against a group of people — whether if that’s a minority faith, a minority race, ethnicity, immigration status, whatever it is. We saw a number of posts that appeared to denigrate those groups of people.” Police Commissioner Richard Ross commented about the internal investigation over these posts: “We have reviewed the social media transcriptions you provided, and find many of them to be not only incongruent with our standards and policies, but also troubling on a human level,” Ross said. F**k the police.

Presideny Donald Trump touched down in Great Britain this week for a three-day, official state visit. But he wasn’t exactly given a hero’s greeting upon his arrival. At least not by one very prominent British citizen. According to The Sun, Prince Harry attended a private lunch with the President and First Lady on Monday, but he didn’t speak very much to the Commander-in-Chief. This same group was then taken on a tour of Queen Elizabeth’s private art collection, but Harry chose to hang back as much as possible at this point. An insider says he made a point NOT to be photographed anywhere near the President. This British publication explains that Harry walked in with the President’s daughter, Ivanka, during this showing — but then left her to talk to the Lord Chamberlain while the Queen showed the Trumps around the Palace. “Harry was the third most senior royal in the room after the Queen and his father, but didn’t seem to take any part in his royal duties,” an onlooker tells The Sun . Royal commentator Ingrid Seward, meanwhile, offered a similar account: “Harry did look grumpy and as if he didn’t want to be there,” she said, adding “He appears to be behaving in a rather immature way and letting his personal animosity take over from his natural good manners. “Whatever his personal feelings, it’s his duty to support the Queen regardless and take a tip from his grandmother who has never allowed her personal feelings to interfere with her duty. “It’s bad manners and rude.” One might say, of course, that President Trump has exhibited nothing himself except for bad, very rude manners — so why should he deserve anything but the same in return? Just a few days ago, upon being told of negative comments Meghan Markle made about him three years ago, Trump slammed the Duchess as nasty . He added at the time, speaking in general of Markle as a member of The Royal Family: “I think it’s nice, and I’m sure she’ll do excellently. She’ll be very good.” However, the damage had already been done. Thankfully for Markle, though, she never had to pretend to make nice to the President. She remains on maternity leave and is not attending any official events at the moment. As soon as Harry’s official duties were over yesterday, The Sun reports, “he dashed off to his exclusive Chelsea gym KX, where he spent 90 minutes working out.” He probably had quite a bit of stress to get out after having to hold in his contempt for the American President for so long. Harry then chose not take part in the official state banquet at the Palace last night, despite it being attended by Charles, Camilla, William and Kate. Can anyone blame the guy?!?
