Rockstar Games Announces ‘Red Dead Online’, To Launch As A Beta In Nov.

Source: Rockstar Games / Red Dead Redemption 2 We are just about a month and a few days from the global launch of Rockstar Games epic western Red Redemption 2 . Today the game studio announced the forthcoming game will have its own online component as well. Just like Grand Theft Auto V , Red Dead Redemption 2’s experience will be expanded with a massive online multiplayer experience with Red Dead Online . The online mode will be an “evolution” of the previous Red Dead Redemptio n game’s multiplayer mode. Utilizing Red Dead Redemption 2’s gameplay as a foundation, players will be able to traverse the games massive open world either alone or with friends if you so choose as well as competitive and cooperative gameplay experiences. Players can also look forward to constant updates and features that will keep the online experience fresh for all players. Rockstar also revealed that Red Dead Online will not launch alongside Red Dead Redemption 2’s single player game but will arrive separately in November in beta mode and for a good reason. The studio seemingly learned from the rocky launch of GTA V’s multiplayer mode Grand Theft Auto Online that was riddled with problems from the jump. They also want to allow players to be wholly acclimated with the game’s controls before Red Dead Online arrives. When asked by IGN about Red Dead Online’s absence on launch day Imran Sarwar, Director of Design at Rockstar North stated: “Also, as we have learned from experience when launching Online games at this scale, there are bound to be a few issues, and we want to ensure that we have time to gradually roll out the game and make the experience as smooth as we possibly can for everyone. We believe this way of rolling out will give people the best overall experiences with both single player and multiplayer.” We can’t wait and if Red Dead Online is anything like GTA Online you can expect it to give the game a very long life. Red Dead Redemption 2 arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 October 26, 2018, the online mode will be free to anyone with a copy of the game on any system. — Photo: Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2

Bolitics: Clinton Trumps Trump In Voter Polls In Key States

Trump Trails In Polls Behind Clinton In Key States Trump aka “ Loose Lips ” may be in a bit of trouble if polls continue to trend this way. It looks like Clinton is leaping ahead of him according to polls in key battle ground states. Clinton leads in Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, Iowa and Ohio over Trump by as much as 9% according to ABC . Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has built up a significant lead in several crucial battleground states, according to new NBC/WSJ/Marist polling released today. Clinton has generated double-digit margins in Virginia and Colorado with 13-point and 14-point advantages over Trump, respectively. The poll also showed Clinton with leads over Trump in Florida and North Carolina. In the Sunshine State, Clinton has a 5-point edge among registered voters. In North Carolina, Clinton enjoys a 9-point advantage. Losses in these states could be devastating for Trump. The Republican nominee’s clearest path to the White House requires wins in Ohio and Florida, where Hillary Clinton has a slight lead, as well as North Carolina and Pennsylvania, where he trails by a broad nine percentage points. Anyone else let out a sigh of releif?

R.I.P. Legendary Jazz Keyboardist George Duke Passes Away

The music world has lost another great one. According to NPR reports : George Duke, the legendary jazz keyboardist, died on Monday, his publicist tells NPR. Duke’s career spanned five decades and he always straddled the line between disparate genres, collaborating with artists such as Miles Davis, Barry Manilow, Frank Zappa, George Clinton and some of Brazil’s top musicians. Here’s how NPR’s Felix Contreras describes him: “He was also a very successful record producer who worked with folks like Gladys Knight, The Pointer Sisters, Anita Baker, Rachelle Ferrell. “As an instrumentalist he started by working with Sonny Rollins and Dexter Gordon. But he made his mark in the jazz fusion vein, most notably with fellow fusion musicians Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham. He had a series of respected fusion albums going back to the late 1970′s. “From the mid ’60s, he also worked as a member of Frank Zappa’s recording and touring band. Most recently he had been a big draw at jazz fests around the world that catered to the mix of R&B and jazz artists.” When Duke spoke to Weekend Edition in 2008, he told Scott Simon that he could not recall how many albums he’d put out. “I’m kinda like [John] McCain in that way: He doesn’t know how many houses he’s got; I don’t know how many albums I’ve got,” Duke joked. Duke was 67. His record label said he died after a battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. A little more than a year ago, Duke’s wife died of cancer. Duke was devastated and could not make music for months. But, earlier this month, Duke released “DreamWeaver,” which the AP’s Charles J. Gans says tied up Duke’s eclectic career in a lush tribute to his wife. “Duke expresses his love for his late wife on the tender, piano-driven ballad ‘Missing You,’ a romantic vocal duet with Rachelle Ferrell,” Gans wrote. “The album ends by turning the cowboy ballad ‘Happy Trails’ — Dale Evans’ closing theme to ‘The Roy Rogers Show’ — into a soulful, heartfelt farewell to his wife, made even more poignant by the sudden death of guitarist Jef Lee Johnson shortly after he recorded the fadeout guitar solo.” In a promotional interview released by his record label, Concord, Duke sounded excited about his new record. “I don’t want people to get the idea that this is a morbid record, because it’s more about celebration,” Duke said. Sad news, especially for us music lovers… We hope he and his wife are making sweet music together in heaven though.

Leave The Past Behind And Move On

More here:

How long do we hold things we shouldn’t? There comes a time in life when we must let go of the past. We must move on. It is the only way that we can become healthy and happy  individuals. When we hold on to the past we block all the blessings  that are marked for us. When we hold on to the past, we never heal. It is part of human nature to hold grudges and become set in our ways. They say the hardest thing any person does in life is learn to create and embrace change. You are not alone when it comes to holding on to things. We replay the infractions, insults or arguments over and over until we have picked apart every detail. Part of life is learning when to move on. It’s hard to move on when the hurt and the pain is so deep we cannot think unless we dwell upon it. That is not what we were created for. We wallow in our misery. We wonder what we will do next. When we label ourselves, we are labeling our future. Why not create something positive? Our past is not the present, and it is certainly not our future. Let us win in our own imagination and create the possibility of an uplifting future. To read further about empowering yourself and moving on visit  Uptown Magazin e and  begin your voyage. Apparently, though, every time this plant makes a friend on Facebook, an electronic system delivers water and nutrients. No friends, no love? Dead plant. Unhappy Meet Eater….
