WATCH: ‘Iron Man 3’ Video − The Mandarin Unleashes Red-Eyed ‘Terminator’-Style Army

There’s a new TV spot for Iron Man 3 out, and it drops a few new tantalizing images and hints.  The clip begins with the Mandarin ( Ben Kingsley ) channeling Richard Nixon with some “My fellow Americans” shtick before proclaiming that “my soldiers will destroy your country.” Among the scenes that accompany the Mandarin’s dire voiceover are shots of  those shirtless men in metal harnesses that have been featured in previous trailers, which suggests they’re the army the Mandarin is referencing. Just a few seconds later, though, we get a glimpse of a couple of evil-looking human dudes with red eyeballs who look like they were borrowed from the Terminator franchise.  My guess is the red eyes have something to do with Extremis. The video also includes more footage of the Iron Army and Tony Stark ( Robert Downey Jr. )  playing smart-ass. At one point, he wields two machine guns Say-Hello-to-My-Little-Friends style . Tony Stark as Scarface’ s Tony Montana?   I like it.  The full clip is below. Watch it and let me know what you think about the Mandarin’s soldiers. Too Terminator ? INTERVIEW: Robert Redford & Jackie Evancho Discuss ‘The Company You Keep’

Remember Occupy Wall Street?  Remember how popular support for the protest soared and then dwindled as organizers proved to be disorganized and ineffectual?  In his new film, The Company You Keep , Robert Redford examines why so many movements like OWS fail.  “They don’t always succeed, they tend to evaporate,” Redford notes.  “I was curious about why. And what was the cost [for] those people that so believed?” In addition to looking back at generations of history,  The Company You Keep also showcases several generations of acting talent: From Julie Christie to Stanley Tucci to Shia LaBeouf. Redford’s most contemporary casting choice is America’s Got Talent wunderkind Jackie Evancho, who makes her acting debut in the film.  “Acting and singing are actually very similar,” says Evancho.  “Because they’re both telling a story.” Check out my full interview from the NY Premiere below: Follow Grace Randolph on  Twitter . WATCH: ‘Carrie’ Not Scary? New Trailer Gets An ‘F’ In Fright Dept.

The first trailer for the remake of another classic horror film — Stephen King’s   Carrie — is out, and it’s looking anemic compared to the bloody and blood-curdling promotional campaign that Evil Dead     has waged over the last several months. Boys Don’t Cry director Kimberly Peirce  is certainly capable of bringing something original to this story, but, based on the trailer, I don’t see it.  The only new twist I detect appears to be that Carrie’s traumatic first encounter with menstruation is going to end up on the Internet thanks to a cell-phone wielding mean girl in the scene. The rest of the action in this clip appears to copy the plot of Brian De Palma’s  original 1976 adaptation without upping the fright factor. There’s another factor to consider that a reader raised the last time I wrote about this movie :  Even beneath a an awful haircut, Carrie star Chloe Grace Moretz’s beauty shines through, which makes it difficult to believe that she could be a weird pariah in high school. What do you think?  Let me know in the comments section. Follow Frank DiGiacomo on  Twitter. Follow Movieline on  Twitter.
