Source: Mark Brown / Getty Kenny Stills Says He Got Death Threats For For Checking Trump-Supporting Team-Owner According to TMZ , Kenny Stills says people have threatened to kill him after he criticized Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross for supporting Trump. The Dolphins receiver slammed team-owner Ross on Twitter, calling the guy a hypocrite for running a charity championing “equality” while at the same time supporting Trump. “You can’t have a non profit with this mission statement then open your doors to Trump.” The tweet caused a stir on social media and Stills says at least five to ten people threatened to take his life for the criticism. Kamala Harris barely got a chance to answer a question this weekend before she was interrupted by a protestor. According to CBS News , the whole incident went down on Saturday at MoveOn’s Big Ideas Forum in San Francisco. Harris was onstage discussing one of her “big ideas,” which involves ending the gender pay gap. The moderator was just about to ask her a question when a man rushed the stage and took Harris’ mic from her hand. He said he wanted to bring “attention for a much bigger idea” before he was taken offstage. Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff , even intervened with the protester to send him on his way. Kamala eventually returned to the stage after chants of “Kamala back!” and she resumed answering questions. Peep the clip for yourself below.   The protestor was identified as Aidan Cook by the animal rights organization Direct Action Everywhere (DxE), who released a press statement shortly after the chaos. Go-Go Protest Dubbed Moechella Fights Gentrification In The City The D.C. gentrifiers were no doubt chocking on their newly-opened coffee shop scones when the glorious go-go community of the DMV took over 14th and U Street. According to News One , a Save Chocolate City Protest was organized outside the Reeves Center in Northwest D.C. and more than 3,000 people came out to beat their feet, keep it gangsta, or shout out their hood against gentrification. At the event dubbed “Moechella,” honoring the city’s “kill moe” slang, iconic go-go band Backyard Band (BYB) brought the tunes for the evening. Things reached a fever pitch back in March when a Metro PCS store known for playing go-go music from their speakers was under attack by soup cookie complainers. The new residents of the Shaw neighborhood complained that the go-go tunes were disruptive. After threats of legal action, PCS’ parent company, T-Mobile, ordered an end to the go-go music coming from the store, which had been playing there for almost 25 years. An online petition was started to keep the store playing go-go music and eventually a #DontMuteDC campaign was started on social media. This resulted in the first huge protest outside the Reeves Center in April where the go-go band TOB and rapper Wale appeared. The chief executive of T-Mobile, John Legere , took notice of D.C.’s demands and he eventually tweeted out that the Metro PCS store could continue playing go-go music and they would negotiate volume levels. As most of us celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy on Monday, racist white folks were out here trying their hardest to undo his legacy. 51-year-old Mark Allen Bartlett has been arrested and charged with carrying a concealed firearm after video footage showed him waving a gun and spewing racial slurs at young, Black cyclists during the annual “Wheels Up, Guns Down” protest. Miami 7 News reports: A woman is seen visibly upset at the group of bicyclists blocking the roadway. A separate video showed the woman accusing one of the riders of running over her foot. “You just ran over my foot with your tire!” she yelled at one of the riders. Things then escalated when, Miami Police said Mark Allen Bartlett, ran up to the group with a gun. “Get the f*** out of here, you f****** piece of s***,” Bartlett told one of the riders. “You f****** losers.” As Bartlett walked away, he’s heard calling them the N-word three times. After seeing the disturbing video, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez tweeted: I can confirm that the man in the video was arrested. His use of racist comments, especially on MLK Day, and threatening others with a gun will not be tolerated by anyone. Kenya Moore Fans Protest Bravo, NeNe Addresses Beef Rumors After news broke that Kenya Moore might not be returning to RHOA amid an alleged 90% salary cut , some dedicated members of Team Twirl are staging a protest. Earlier this week TheJasmineBrand caught footage of protestors (signs and all) picketing outside of Bravo’s NYC Rockefeller Plaza office. One fan’s sign read, “Bring Kenya Back” and the group of five Kenya enthusiasts chanted “Boycott Bravo.” They must reaaaaaaally love Kenya. In addition to the protest news, Kenya’s name has been coming up in an alleged beef with NeNe. NeNe recently posted about someone not “biting the hand that feeds them” unless they want to get “f***d up”… and fans assumed she was talking about Kenya.
