This is 40 Trailer: It’s Everyone’s Story

Judd Apatow’s latest film, This is Forty, is a spin-off (or “sort-of sequel”) of Knocked Up , with Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprising their characters Pete and Debbie. This time, the focus is on their family as Debbie turns the big 4-0. If you remember their Knocked Up quotes , you know they were among the movie’s best, and the new slice-of-life comedy’s tagline teases that this is “not just their story … this is everyone’s story.” To a degree, it certainly looks like it is:

The King’s Speech is riding high on guild love after its surprise win for Best Picture at the PGA Awards and Best Director for Tom Hooper at the DGA Awards; it may yet complete the trifecta tonight at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. At this point, it has to be considered the new odds-on favorite for Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards. But if Harvey Weinstein follows through on his plan to re-cut the film for a more profitable rating, then, frankly, it doesn’t deserve a damned thing.
