NeNe Leakes Says Bravo Editing Makes Her Look Bad And Discusses Marlo If you want to go after Bravo, blame them for making you look like a coward after running away from Marlo. According to Sister 2 Sister Magazine: NeNe Leakes isn’t too fond of how she’s being portrayed on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” this season, accusing the show’s production team of trying to ruin her rep. “I feel like these networks and production companies—I’m just keeping it real—I just feel like they build you up to tear you down. I feel like they’ve done whatever they could do to try to not show me in the best light,” NeNe recently told Essence.com. Like many of her reality TV peers, NeNe seemed to be pointing the finger of blame at those who edit the hours and hours of video footage to put the show together, but she didn’t want to sound like a cliché. “I feel like so many people cry wolf on editing. I’m just saying that they’ve done whatever they could to try to diminish anything that I’ve done and I’m okay with it because I know about reality TV. Every season there has to be a villain; there has to be somebody that straddles the fence, and there has to be a little $#!t stirrer. All of those things make the show,” said NeNe who didn’t identify which of her co-stars are filling those roles this time around. NeNe has previously accused Kenya of being the troublemaker this season and that conflict caused a rift between NeNe and one-time bridesmaid Marlo Hampton. “What you see on the show is not what happened to Marlo and me,” NeNe said. “No one can step in our relationship and break us up if we’re real friends. So, that’s not it. Our stuff is deeper than Kenya Moore.” Hopefully, these bitter birds can kiss and make up one day.
