By James Dinh Kim Kardashian Photo: Kevork Djansezian/ Getty Images Fans are used to “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” on a weekly basis, so it’s only natural that they’re sharing their two cents on Kim Kardashian’s divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries on Monday (October 31). Team Kardashian has flooded the comments section of MTV.com, as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages, to dish their thoughts on the 72-day marriage. And with Kim filing for divorce (citing “irreconcilable differences”) so soon after their August nuptials, many have been quick to pass judgment on the pair. However, some fans, like MTV.com user Baby_Girl_2004, have remained hopeful that the Hollywood socialite will one day find her happily ever after. “I’m not one bit surprised about this. I knew it wasn’t going to last at all,” the reader wrote. “Don’t get me wrong she is a beautiful women but they didn’t have that spunk like Khlo

Now I can also call him a Twitter phenomenon since he’s subject of the joke meme #RejectedPeanutsSpecials. Adam Levine on Fox News: Evil F*%king Channel!

Singer Adam Levine instigated a full scale Twitter war with Fox News after asking that the “evil f-cking channel” no longer play his songs last night. It’s unclear at what point Fox featured his songs and which one(s), but he apparently didn’t take kindly to it, firing off this scathing Tweet Wednesday. And then all social media hell broke loose. Several of the network’s anchors, surprisingly, hit back: “Dear Adam Levine, don’t make crappy f-cking music again,” Andy Levy wrote. “Thank you.” Redeye host Greg Gutfeld then took aim at the Maroon 5 frontman: “Why did Maroon 5 cross the road?” he asked. “Because crappy music is legal there!” Gutfeld then retweeted some of Levine’s musings and added some sarcastic commentary. Sample tweet, with his response preceding Adam’s original: Names that sound alike: Maroon 5 and crap. @adamlevine Names that sound alike: @kelseygrammer and @chelseahandler. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star Rooney Mara strikes an elegant pose on November cover of Vogue, wearing a Ralph Lauren gown with embroidery on the back. Embroidery of a dragon, obviously. The actress who won the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander says it was the perfect fit for her, and from the trailer we’ve seen and photos like this, it’s hard to argue: “I am very slow to warm. I’ve always been sort of a loner,” Rooney Mara reveals. “I didn’t play team sports. I am better one-on-one than in big groups.” “I can certainly understand wanting to be invisible and mistrusting people and wanting to understand everything before you engage with the world.” Even though Mara knows this is the role of a lifetime, she’s not looking forward to being in the spotlight after it premieres, Kristen Stewart -style. “That fame is not something I ever wanted for myself,” the 26-year-old says. “It just so happens that this huge, gigantic monster of a film came around that also happens to have the most incredible character I ever could have dreamed up.” “But my fear with a movie like this is the kind of exposure you get from it,” she continues. “I think that can be death to an actor. The more people know about you, the less they can project who you are supposed to be.” She continues that rumination with this: “It’s unfortunate you really only get one shot at that. After this, I won’t be able to be that girl again.” File that under good problems to have. After this role and the doors it will open, we have a feeling Rooney’s career could be raring to go.

Rick Ross: Okay! Eating Chicken Wings!

Just two days after suffering a pair of seizures , Rick Ross is alive, healing well and eating chicken wings with friends. The rapper was spotted yesterday at the grand opening of his Wing Stop restaurant in Memphis, as pal DJ Khaled posted the following photo of the event, along with the message: “My brother ROZAY!!IS GOOD!!!” This was the outing that originally prompted Ross to board multiple flights on Friday from Fort Lauderdale, both of which were forced to make emergency landings after the artist passed out. Ross is next scheduled to perform October 21 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta and sources say he’ll take a bus to that concert. Probably a good idea.

Nelly Says He’s Still Hip-Hop, Despite Crossover Success

By Rob Markman Nelly Photo: MTV News When Nelly first stepped on the scene in 2000, he was hip-hop to the core. There was no denying the street appeal the multiplatinum hitmaker displayed in his debut “Country Grammar” video wearing an oversize baseball cap, baggy jeans and backward football jersey. The St. Louis standout has exhibited a ton of growth in his 11-year career, and while his 2010 single “Just a Dream” shot to #1 on Billboard ‘s pop charts, it didn’t do much to bolster his hard-core rap cred — and that’s OK. Nelly is still in tune with his rap roots. He even presented LL Cool J with his I Am Hip Hop Icon Award at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards. “At the end of the day, I am urban, so you can’t run from that fact,” Nelly told MTV News as he walked the black carpet for the awards show. “At the end of the day, it’s another successful brother, stepping and breaking ground for the next brother to come along and do it.” The rhythmic “Just a Dream” was produced by Jim Jonsin and Rico Love, the same team that handled Kelly Rowland’s R&B hit “Motivation.” Still, it isn’t a different formula than the one used on his Patti LaBelle-sampled hit “Dilemma” in 2002. Nelly has always stretched the boundaries of hip-hop, maybe most exemplified on his country duet “Over and Over” with Tim McGraw. The hip-hop star didn’t reveal which musical direction he’d be going with his upcoming, yet-untitled seventh album, but it’s safe to assume he’ll do as he always has. Nelly is willing to let the chips fall where they may. “You do what works for you,” he said. “I think you’d be an idiot to not do what works for you. They don’t want me to be smart about it? They wanna see another dumb brother not succeeding because he tried to do something that wasn’t smart? That’s what they say about us: We don’t think first. Well, this brother thinking first. Rick Ross Doing ‘Good’ After Plane Scare

Maybach Music boss hit Twitter after reports he suffered a seizure; crew confirms to MTV News that MC is OK. By Rob Markman Rick Ross (file) Photo: Akshay Bhansali After reports surfaced on Friday (October 14) that Rick Ross suffered from a seizure that rendered him unconscious, MTV News has learned that the Bawse is OK. The Teflon Don even sent out a message via Twitter downplaying the incident. TMZ broke the news on Friday, reporting that at 12:55 p.m. ET, Rozay — who was traveling from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Memphis perform a show — fell unconscious just after his plane took off. According to the site, the plane had to make an emergency landing while a doctor onboard administered CPR. Several members of Ross’ Maybach Music Group camp have confirmed with MTV News that Rozay is doing better now. None would confirm that the rapper had suffered a seizure, however, saying only said that he was “good.” Wale, who is signed to Ross’ label, took to Twitter to end online speculation that Rozay may not pull through, even getting in a bit of promotion for the Miami MC’s upcoming God Forgives, I Don’t LP. “I just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok…@tmz #dontpanic #dontpanic #mmg !!!! #gfid dec 13th!,” he wrote. Ross DJ Sam Sneaker, also hit Twitter, writing , “I’m wit @rickyrozay now he good.” MMG’s videographer SpiffTvFilms also weighed in with a tweet : “Just Got Off The Phone With My Brother @rickyrozay He’s Good Don’t Believe The Hype #Godforgivesidont Dec 13Th.” In response to Rap Radar founder’s Elliott Wilson’s tweet pleading, “@rickyrozay Don’t scare a n—a like that. Thanks,” Ross himself fired back “@elliottwilson never dat homie..we ouchea #mmg powercircle!!!!” At press time, MTV News had not heard back from representatives at Def Jam Records, where Ross is signed as an artist.
